hello lovelies welcome back to my youtube channel I'm Kathleen and today we are talking moving tips so as many of you know I'm looking shortly and my best friend active also just moved so we did what girls do we chit-chatted and we're bring you our top ten moving tips so let's get started with tips that you need to do a week or two before tip number one change your address with the post off that way mandatory about your meal tip number two go ahead and schedule your electricity and your cable people to come in I would say usually the day after noon in because the day you're actually moving in can get quite hectic but that way you don't go without internet or cable for too long because you know girl into a Wi-Fi tip number three if you are in an area where you need perfect parking so much where I'm moving I said you get that all done that way the night that you move in your car is registered with the city and you are not going to be getting any tip number four the last time you should go grocery shopping is at least a week before the big move this avoids you moving too much leftover food or worse yet you'll have to purge this off because it can sit out there too long and Noble bad so full week before tip number five is this might sound a little trivial but me and my best friend discuss and it worked for her and it will work for me in a couple of weeks it is for lighter items go ahead and use big boxes this where you can pack them and they're so heavy heavy they're so light enough to pick up and have your items in smaller boxes this way you don't over pack them and then craziness doesn't into because you know bus broke open and everything flew out so lighter item big boxes heavy items little boxes tip number six keep organized and what I mean by that is don't put the bathroom self in bedroom box letting yourself in the bathroom box it can get crazy keep all the stuffing so basically packed by room I think that's super important this is don't even help every time I move and then when you're going to go ahead obviously you're going to label the boxes if you want to get crazy if you add a subscription and then when you're going to move them pile all the boxes up together that way when you get to your new place or your better self come up together bedroom stuff together second bedroom whatever they keeps me kick number seven bundle your frat Rock I know this is so obvious what's so important but here's another alien term instead of buying bubble wrap because it's moving they're so expensive so you need to be spending more money go ahead and almost closed it occurred and going to donate go ahead wrap the scratch all your glassware your dishes in those clothing and then don't wait afterwards you can go ahead and once you're done then you can go ahead and put them into donation bin and don't forget to label those boxes not only with where they come from like the kitchen but fragile you want to make sure that people that are helping you move know that and you don't get to your new place with broken glassware tip number eight go ahead with some saran wrap and cover any open bottles so think things with liquid like food cosmetics for the trees you know actually this is helpful to you when traveling your suitcase gets crap all over in here because if something's building is that you don't want to think things happen to you when you move so saran wrap does the trick tip number nine is use Ziploc bags to store any screws and items like that or unassembled furniture that you're going to assemble in your new place so buddy story a couple of those ago cuz i'm like a stereo looper i'm it's really bad I can't commit people I went ahead and put the screws of something if he goes if I'm not even sure what if it was in my pocket and forgot all about them and then whereas could you please and everybody's like where are the screws where are the screws and I'm like I don't know we're frantically looking for them and the whole time knife in that 45 minutes we were looking for the whole time so what am i heavy I put them in a ziploc bag put a description put it in a mob description on the box except they're in here that way it doesn't happen to you and lastly but certainly not police which I think this is a winner so garment bags are expensive and again we're moving so so go ahead in these garbage guys instead that way it keeps your clothes so needs you don't have to take them off the hanger fold over the box unfold and we get to your new place hang them up come on you know it's a hassle so if you go ahead and bundle you know all some of your clothes maybe puzzles of 10 with garbage bags then just fold them once over put them in a box and that or not you can put them in a box if you need to go ahead and move into new place it's just so easy for you to unpack it ie break open the garbage bag I know a lot of garbage guy bags got to waste but cheaper than garment bags and then you go ahead and put them in your pocket and you are good to go so that is it I hope you find these tips so so humble thank you so much for watching please give this a thumbs up and subscribe thank you thank you thank you and I will see you next time
