Assign mark
Hi! It's Claire from AP. Here's how you can more easily assign, mark complete, and reassign Personal Progress Checks. For this QuickStart, I'll use AP Human Geography. Once you're in AP Classroom, scroll down to the Units tab. Check that you're on the tab of the unit you're teaching, and then scroll down to the Personal Progress Checks. Find the section of the Personal Progress Check that you'd like to assign. I'll click on the unlock button next to MCQ. A pop-up window will appear for assignment settings. You can see that my Period 1 class has already completed this assignment and my Period 2 class is currently working on it. I haven't yet assigned these MCQs to my Period 7 class. To assign these MCQs to my Period 7 class, I'll select Period 7 and open the toggle for "Unlock the Assessment Now." I'll set the start and due dates. And, I'll choose not to set a time limit. Then I'll go ahead and click update. To mark these MCQs as complete, I'll need to go back in by clicking the unlock button next to the MCQs. A pop-up window appears for assignment settings. You'll see my Period 7 class has moved from the "Unlock/Schedule" column to the "Assigned or In Progress" column. I want to mark the MCQs complete for my Period 2 class. I'll click "View" next to my Period 2 class. This takes me to the Progress tab on the Progress Checks page. Here, I can click "Mark Complete" to close the assignment for my Period 2 class. I'll click "Yes" to verify that I want to mark this assignment as complete and the assignment is now marked locked to students. To reassign these MCQs, I'll need to go back in by clicking the unlock button next to MCQs. A pop-up window appears for assignment settings. You'll see both my Period 1 and now my Period 2 classes have moved out of the "Assigned or In Progress" column and into the "Reassign" column. To reassign these MCQs to my Period 2 class, I'll select my Period 2 class. I'll open the toggle for "Unlock the Assessment Now." I'll set a start and due date. And, I'll click update. These MCQs have now been reassigned to my Period 2 class.
