[Music] hi I'm Trever today I'll show you how to upload and supersede large batches of documents hundreds or more using the bulk processing tool first click documents then under actions click bulk processing and click the new bulk process button now we need to download the metadata template that a connects provides click the button and the file downloads let's open it up and fill it in here you can see some column headers are bold these are the columns you must fill in the others are optional keep in mind that the template won't work if you reorder the columns so to leave them as they are to make life easier you can copy data into the spreadsheet from other systems if you like just be sure that the file names that you enter don't contain any errors the same goes for the files extensions like DWG or PDF check that you've entered the correct document numbers to the file names document numbers and all the other metadata you enter here need to match the values in the project exactly and finally make sure that you enter dates in the same format that your project is using when you're finished save the file in a CSV format click file then save as and select CSV for the format ok now we're ready to go back to a connects and upload our documents to the temporary files area now here's a tip it's a good idea to start uploading files while you're getting your template ready if you've got large files or lots of them they can take a long time to upload so start them uploading and then get the template ready so let's do the upload using the zip file upload process on the Bob processing page click upload then zip file upload I'll click Choose file and find the zip file that contains all the files I just listed in my metadata template click to add it then click upload you see a progress page and a confirmation when the upload is done be aware that by default your zip file will be expanded on upload so all the files you've added will most cases show up individually in your temporary files area we're nearly ready now to do the bulk process we just need to test the template first click on metadata file and choose it from your system then click to upload it you can see it here when that's done now simply click the test button the test can take a while depending on the number of documents you're uploading click refresh and you'll see a report on your test if there are any problems use the information on support central to correct your metadata template and then upload it and test it again ours is ok so we're good to go I'll just click run to run the job then I click refresh to see the log file report and when I...
