to the computer all right so I am recording so anyway in last night's session essentially what I did was I started by creating the a page document we discussed what the projects were going to be and we discuss what aspect you're going to deal with week one and then of course week two and week 3 and week four and you're gonna build on this 8h paid 8 page thing so we created our a page thing or a page document and we discussed the different types of gridding layout elements that we can manipulate and we talked a little bit about the baseline grid which you can find in preferences and I showed you how I set up a numbering system for my baseline grid based on what I believed I was going to be using for copy for my for my document and we also talked about the columns and the guides and I showed you by playing around a little bit that it's very easy to go in and modify the columns and the gutters and change the sizes on the fly and you could literally change one page or you could go into your master page and you could change all the pages so it makes it very flexible and gives you the ability to actually play around with a lot of things what we did next was we produced some text frames until I talked about the text frames course I also showed I also showed the project that we are working on for this week on I also showed the completed project what the completed project would look like based on a design that I created and again you know I'm not saying you have to copy my design you can copy such certain parts of it but I'm looking more for you to be creative and have some fun with this I talked about all that I produced text frames I started by producing some text frames that jump from the pages which would be page to just page 7 and if we look in the page panel here there is page 2 and page seven oh and I might mention here that I made a mistake last night and I didn't catch it until after my class was done let's see if I can show you it yeah unfortunately I corrected it to such a degree that I not going to be able to show you this is page two my my beginning page for my editorial I had it over here it was on the wrong page so I just literally went in and I selected everything and I moved it over to the correct page but I'm mentioning this to you because if you look in the video you're gonna see that I'm on this page and it's incorrect now I don't want anybody to get confused by that all right if you take a look at your...
