hi everyone today I'm going to show you how you can upload a file of size 25 MB in github as of now github won't allow you to upload a file if the size is around 25 MB I'll show you the file which I have it with me so there is a file with the name map dot PDF it has some screenshots of the map and the size of the the file is 37 MB let me show you the file first as you can see it has around close to 3 maps alright and let's try to upload this file and get up if I directly try to upload it says yeah we can't upload it because the size is you know more than 25 MB now assume if we have to upload because of some reason or because because we need it right so what we could do that there is a tool called 7-zip which we can use it so just say right click on that file say 7-zip and add to archive and there is a feature called split to volumes so there we can select split it by 24 MB and just hit OK so what it will do it will convert that file of 37 MB into multiple parts when the part size we have selected as 24 MB so in our case it has created two parts as you can see the first part is having around twenty four point something MB and the other part is having d2l MB close to 12 MB I mean to say now what you can do you can just select them both and upload now as you can see github is allowing us to upload it so meanwhile it's getting upload what we could do that I'll show you so anyway it's gonna be same thing so once you download you will download these two files only but whatever we just uploaded and what will happen let me delete the original file so once you download them back you will get these two files how you will convert them into the original file just simply say right-click on the first file and this time you say extract once you click on that you should be able to see the file inside that particular folder as you can see right now it's showing here mapped or PDF if I open that file here you can see the same PDF containing the three maps right and let's see yeah you can see the upload is also completed and if I just try to commit it's gonna take some seconds or something as you can see now it caught uploaded and once you download it's gonna be same thing all right thanks very much now you can use these techniques wherever you want it thank you
