hello and welcome to the 514th reserve dts tutorial step-by-step uploading documents this is going to be a very short tutorial on just where to go in dts to upload your documents so when you get into dts you just want to go to the expense tab and you will see enter expenses but you see an add button and you see a pdf so there's two ways to do this you can import as a pdf which would just be clicking on the pdf hit browse find it on your desktop computer wherever you have it saved open select all pages next so if these were your 938 you would just scroll down and this is where everybody's having trouble when you open this up it's all expenses you need to scroll down to the bottom and you will see documents and travel orders this is also where you could put aea actual expense authorizations non-a's anything down here as well but travel orders and then because it has that red star you do have to put a note so we're just going to say a 938 it could be a 1610 anything else that you had hit attach and done so then you see here you have travel orders so details travel orders okay you could also hit plus and add more of them so you can do it that way but that's adding it as a pdf you can also add any kind of documents through this add button so same thing you could do documents and other if it was a memo and then document name you could say 9a whatever it is a non-availability slip attached document same thing we're going to attach whatever file we want now this is important retain is pdf if you click this it's going to be a pdf which means we need to download it to view it which is fine but if you leave it unchecked or if it happens to be checked uncheck it that will make it so it's available in the preview window so that just makes it easier for us just a little note there so select and then add so those are the two ways that you can add documents you can also so let's say we have lodging it's going to show you this little bed here shows you that it's for your lodging at this point we have a hundred dollars showing you can also do drag and drop so let's say on our desktop we have the lodging receipt left click drag it drop it same thing leave the retain off attach okay and then it shows up same thing you can add more you can scroll up or down and make them bigger and you can delete it happen to be the wrong one so that's where your documents go thank you and then just an fyi if you happen to be a reviewer or a proving official and...
