Signature adoption
[Music] hello and welcome to our signature adoption series in this video we are going to talk about file uploads to docusign forms so your clients your partners your employees can upload some documents like certificates drivers license etc so let's switch to docusign we will need to create a new template so you just click new create template so i'll upload this pdf file to make things faster and i'll just set sign in order the first one would be our employee i'm creating the second role which is hr and here is a pdf file i uploaded so we still need to add some fields the first one name would be pre-populated for us but we would need to manually put text for the rest of the fields in the next videos we will discuss how to pre-populate some of these fields as well so the data might come from our database let's add some options for the state new york california and some other states okay that should be enough and some packs here okay let's just adjust the size of the box so it fits nicely as you can see i'm using employee for these fields so these fields should be populated by our employee i'll use checkboxes here please correct me if i should use radio buttons for those of you who don't know with checkboxes you can select multiple options with radio button group you can select just a single option from the list of options and let's add one more field here and also the signature for our employee again we use employee here and i'll add the date and here is the most interesting part we will add an option to upload files here and one more file can be uploaded here so two files can be uploaded using this form and one more signature goes here this one would be for our hr so i change it here from employee to hr and that's it so let's check everything looks nice so we'll just save this form and we'll give it a name so it's a direct deposit authorization form that's it we click save and now we can actually use this form so let's uh go back and wrap its id here is the id you can copy it from the url so this number and we will go to admin and create a new template with this id so just navigate to docusign templates and add template we will put a name just the same name we used before and here we just put the db copied before and here you go we have the template defined in our admin so we are not going to send this as a single document but we are going to send it within a bundle with a few more documents so let's define a bundle it's going to be a contract lab development contract let's say 2021 so we will use this domain and let's select this document and actually a few more yeah let's use these three documents and yeah that should be enough so now we have this template bundle defined and we actually can send it to our employee so we'll create a new contract for maria parker and let's send just this document so we won't send all of them but only this one for now so the document has been sent and she gets an email saying that she needs to review and sign this document let's switch to megan parker's interface she logs in into the application and she just clicks review and sign button now we see docusign interface here let's populate the field so you see this field was pre-populated but we need to put some data for the rest of the fields so new york let's select the state from the dropdown and some account number another account number some amount and i'll put some checkboxes here and the name of the company i'll just click sign and here i need to upload the files i'll use this gpg file so it's an image for the first field so this one is done and as you can see this image was uh appended to the document let's select a zpdf file it's a different format but it would work and we are done with the pdf file and as you can see it also was appended to the document so we are done here with click finish that document still has the spending status as you can see because our hr still needs to sign the document to check it and sign if it's okay so let's switch to hr interface so docusign updates status of our envelope and if you navigate to docusign documents tab you see there is a document waiting for us to be checked and if it's okay we can sign so i'll just click this button and here we see the document results fields populated by maria and we also see the attachments so the files she uploaded i added to the end of the document so i just click sign everything looks nice let's finish this document and we do not have any other documents to sign and this document goes to completed so you can see it moved the completed tab and well that's basically the document we just signed let's see how it looks from our profile it is completed we just need to wait a bit for the files to be downloaded so now we see that files just been downloaded and we see there are four files so why do we have four files the first one is a file as a document itself the second one and the third one are the upload files um so you see there is a document then we have these two upload files the first one is gpg file so it's an image of the check then the third file is a pdf file which is our password in this case and the last one would be the certificate so we have docusign certificate it's the last file so that's how it works if you have any comments please leave them in the section below and if you liked the video please click this like button and i hope to see you in the next videos and that's it for now [Music] you
