hey guys justin here with the satellite phone store and today we're going to go over some of the rich features of the icon ptt satellite walkie-talkie we're also going to go into the command center which is somewhere where you can name devices and set up talk groups so let's get into it let's first get into setting up talk groups and naming devices the first step will be to log into the ptt command center here is where you can name devices assign multiple talk groups to your devices set up talk group areas and get the codes to share talk groups with friends to name your devices click on the device on the devices tab on the left hand side of the screen you'll see a field to enter the name once you have entered the name click on save in the same window you can add up to 15 talk groups to your device these correlate with the channels at the top of the icon if you have multiple talk groups you can drag and drop them into the numbers above [Music] to set up talk group areas click on talk groups in the top right corner select the talk group you would like to set up you can add circles or rectangular regions to the map and they can be pretty much anywhere in the world depending on what plan you purchased you have a certain amount of area you are allowed to set up if you know exactly the area you are working in you can overlap small circles or rectangles to maximize the area you can use to share a talk group with a friend you will need their share code this can be found in the top right corner by clicking on the small wrench icon you'll see talk groups share code you can share yours or if you have a friend share code you can add it by going to the bottom right corner of the talk group you want to add them to under share click add and then type in their share code another feature worth talking about is rdt live and pro this is software that can be used on a pc it allows for real-time tracking and works on google earth when a radio transmit it shares its location relaying position of assets this is obviously very useful with transportation logistics fishing boats other marine related industries and oil and gas rs chat is an app that works on both iphone and android this app allows you to chat through your satellite device this is particularly useful if you need for messages to be displayed in a noisy environment if you don't want to talk over the radio or to relay information that needs to be typed out and stored to use this you must first download the rs sat100 app you can go into your icsat 100 click on the ok button scroll down to the...
