Michael Carroll I'm 23 years old I'm Robert Carroll and I'm 21 years old we're brothers I was interested in coding since about high school started like dabbling in Java programming I knew I wanted to be in technology so I did like an Emma asked to grand college but towards the end I kind of realized I want to be in computer science eventually zip code came around and that was like a nice short span where you go from wanting to get into computer science to jumping into it right away I heard about zip code on the radio and then it all moved forward nicely from there they're actually in the cloth my dad and he's a software engineer himself and he kind of just said like this is what we're looking for so you guys should probably apply and he was texting us the whole day that day saying like have you applied yet having applied yet anybody can apply does it field it's really about the attitude you take in if you have the right attitude you can just power through anything in need or you can't deal with failure very well you guys on the flight a zip code and if you don't handle frustration you're not gonna be able to handle zip code the entire I'm pretty competitive so my biggest challenge was comparing myself to other people in the class and seeing like who's better so I got to get over that and stop doing that because it's not actually good for your mental health I like coding myself because it's an art in its own form where you just type in words and the computer basically and in the end you get this creation that when everything comes together it's kind of like amazing that it happens like sometimes all my programs I just keep running it over and over again just like be like well I carefully this still works that lived in the same bedroom for basically almost our entire lives nothing's gonna slip a line cuz if I forget about something he'll ever know if he forgets about something I like him now so zipcode teaches mainly in java but the overall curriculum that they go through helps you in like an overarching way of just being able to learn new technologies they give people like me and my brother a second chance that I he's a college dropout I'm someone that didn't actually get into computer science with it to the end and if this wasn't a an option now for an end to us I guess we don't know where we would be kind of learned a lot about myself that I can take on more challenges than I thought I could I kind of grew a confidence throughout the class that if I had to get with something outside that could I know I can deal with it now cuz this is probably one of...
