so one of the functionalities that's required for merchants that sell either alcohol or tobacco is age verification and in this video I'm going to demonstrate this new functionality that we are introducing within the cloud CRM app and so age verification technology um so this is our app Cloud CRM and I would navigate to the workflow management and then click on age verification technology there's a simple switch on and off right right so and so when you turn it on if you are also using our tobacco scan data and you know tobacco products implied age verification requirements we right away will pick up on those items because you already have them selected elsewhere but then there's also this ISO address restriction items you can put it you can put in the age restriction and just assign items right so I have my alcohol for example select it here so these are my alcohol these are my tobaccos and then I can just add more age restricted groups and assign items to those groups so that part is just the settings and we have that done so now let's see how it works in the register so we'll start off in a register and let's go ahead and try our tobacco products right so the reason why we're going to try tobacco products because there's also an application for the Loyalty program that has to do with the scan data so here's my driver's license and I'm simply going to go ahead and scan this barcode here it's going to tell me that my age is verified then that I'm over 21 and then I have an option to either skip loyalty or you know add a customer because we already we just scanned right so that gets associated with the customer record and then we can just assign and you know customers add it and then we can just do another Marlboro and all the appropriate loyalty and the multi-pack discounts are triggered and then we can move on and pay for this transaction use other payment method all right so that's done right um and there it is there it goes now let's go ahead and try our alcohol now these um again we scan for age there's the age and then we say loyalty customer added now it wouldn't really have any effect in terms of discounts right but the customer would be added during this uh I didn't remove it right so I can go ahead and pay for my vodka right and we're done and then we go to orders and we can see you know my name gets picked up from the driver's license um and we also validate for a phone number that's part of the loyalty requirements that we will have so here actually I can just search for vui there's that record and there's the phone number right so now a phone number was answered manually by hand...
