although this is Wayne with cloud 9 business apps we're going to do a short little video on how you can create an invoice using the wave application platform so basically here we are on the dashboard all you have to do is you can go up here under create a new and click invoice on the drop down menu or you can under here under sales you can go to invoices when you arrive at the invoices page you will see another link to create a new invoice so we're just doing it on a dummy account here and the internet is a little bit slow so bear with me so there we are here we've got a link here that says creating an invoice either way it's gonna open up this page right here or you have a new invoice if you want to add a customer you just click on add a customer if there you'll see a you can basically use this search to search existing customers that you have in my database but just click create a new customer so we'll just call our new customer Joe Blow and save and there you have the new customer you can enter additional information you won't do that right now oh here you go the invoice date the payment due date which you can adjust to your needs and then you just click add an item you can have saved items or you can just create a new one on the fly right now I've got a saved item that says standard room and I can just let say 3 nights and then put a 3 there you don't see it automatically calculates the total and the tax is and that's it you just click Save and continue at which point you'll be prompted to first just approve the draft after you look at it down here so if approved it and now you can just click send so when you click send of course you need an email address in there I'll just use support clubs on business apps and you can put in a message here and you can click send so that gets sent out to the customer and they will be able to pay it now how they pay it is a different issue so you basically here where it says record a payment you can click on that if you've received a payment a check or or some other method or if you're signed up for credit card processing which is for a different video later you'll see a charge a credit card button here but we don't see that right now because this account is not set up for credit cards that's it thanks for watching and you can find out more at cloud 9 business apps or cloud bed-and-breakfast com thanks bye
