[Music] [Music] hello everyone welcome back my name is michael and in this video i want to talk about an axis so this is a very important part of your project proposal because this is where you store every information that you think it's important but you can put in the body of the proposal usually don't agencies not require very elaborate and cumbersome proposals but I rather have it simple and straight to the point and that way they can easily get around the ideas that you're proposing and see if it's something they would be interested in funding so the average project proposal is about six pages long sometimes they can be shorter other times they can be longer but if there are provisions for an axis that is one place where you can put in as much documentation as possible so if you have conducted in needs assessments you know also attach the full report in the annex of your proposal so if you have a resort framework a logical framework a sustainability plan a strategic plan solution tree a problem tree the stakeholders analysis and any other tool that you might have employed in developing your projects you might want to put them all in your Nexus so is that all you have in the body of your proposal I usually summaries that go straight to the point to state all the facts and all the points that you'd want your prospective funders to have you may not need to go into details trying to give all of the information that you have so for every information that you put in your annex you may also choose a very convenient numbering system so my ones who use numbers others might prefer to use alphabets it doesn't matter what you use all that matters is that your citation and the body of your work is very accurate so that if you have listed all of your results or you also have an elaborate 10 page logical framework you might want to put in brackets sifu logical framework in Appendix A and that's why your donors would know that yeah you have a logical framework and number two you've attached it and you know it exactly where it is the world's who cite all of the annexes your table of contents if your proposal has one and that's we they would be very easy to find so having said this I hope it's clear enough for your next section is and how you can use it to improve your proposal find out disclaimer I can share with you a very close attention to instructions so if the prospective donor has a very strict page limit and they have said six pages and nothing more and they have not made any provisions for attachments then you may want to skip this section altogether but if there are provisions for you to attach additional documents and that would be an opportunity to arrange your annex are sending additional supporting documents and you should be fine so next time have a lot of documents support your proposal but the template you've been given does not allow you to put all the details in there just go on and give what is required and then you can put all the others in your annexes and send them in and hopefully they should help demonstrate that you have the right capacity and that you've done a very good job at developing this project probably increase your chance of getting the funding so if you have any questions about our Nexus or how you can organize them for better impact let's have them in the comment section or if you've enjoyed this video give us a like and if you're new to the channel click on the subscribe button and click on the browser image right away we make new content so thank you for watching and see you in the next video
