What is the the electronic signature act?
It's a signature that you sign whenever you give a money transfer to a merchant, and that you have to sign, to show to the merchant that you really received the money. And that's a very expensive signature to generate, and you're not going to happen on your own, in any other way. It would be much better to use a trusted third party - like a credit card company - to generate that signature.

So if someone has a copy of your public key, they can figure things about you from that. So you need to take steps to make sure that you can't give someone your public key, just for the purpose of giving it.
So in a sense, what is the electronic signature act is really saying - is that you have to be careful about what information you give out so that people don't use public key cryptogra...
