hello and welcome back this is dr edward padama and this time we are going to discuss how to create a digital signature in sign documents online so since all of us are in quarantine or most of us are in quarantine right now because of the pandemic and we are required to sign documents but we are not allowed to do it face to face so we have to do it online this is one way of doing uh your signature or writing or putting your signature in your document and sending it back to the institution the group or the office that requested for your signature so before we start please click the subscribe button and the notification bell to alert you when a new video is uploaded okay let's start i started this by getting a piece of paper a pen and writing my signatures by the way this is a fictitious signature that i use and then this is uh through the use of a cell phone so after signing or writing your signature take a photo using your cell phone and then after that try to make the photo as white as possible again this is still using your cellular phone if not there is an application that you can use using your laptop or your desktop computers after taking this photo and editing it going from this dark to this light try to send this to your fb messenger so in this case i used the messenger in fv and sent this photo to myself why because we need to transfer this from our cell phone going to our laptop or desktop computers okay so once you've sent this to yourself try to download it so it can be saved in your computer so this one is that dark photo that was sent to me and this one is the light one so i've already saved this in my laptop and if you can see if you open the photo you will automatically be directed to editing minimal editing features so this is not like photoshop where you can edit and use a lot of features from that particular program so example we are not going to use this pen anymore we just need the signature you can crop your photo using this built-in editing feature of microsoft windows so just be careful because the cropping feature is very sensitive and then try to remove as many uh space as possible from the signature that will not be used okay and then after that just press enter okay cancel you just save a copy okay and then let's save this as signature one okay so after cropping the photo and saving it as signature one let's open the document or let's open the photo so this is sign one so as you can see the pen is uh was eliminated and you are left with your signature but there are still dark sides on the left side of your photo and this one is already as white as the background that we have in our background screen so after using the crop you have other features on the right side of the screen you can open this and open edit feature so under editing feature you have the following and on top you have filters and adjustment the right side is just for straightening the signature if you want it to be horizontally aligned or straight okay and then after that you can use the filter and try to look for filters that would make the background much wider than it is right now so here the original is the widest among the features under filter so we we will not be able to do anything here try to go to adjustments and here you have light and color selections and you have clarity and big net okay we'll try to see the effect of light when we try to adjust the selector so as you can see the signature becomes darker but the background also becomes darker so in this case you just try to mix mix and match which is more appropriate where you will not lose the lines for the signature and yet you still retain the white white background of your signature so let's try to make the background whiter by adjusting this so in this case doesn't help to make our background lighter clarity it's same and vignette when we move to the right side it creates a circle coming from the sides going to the middle but if you move it to the left side at least on the left side of the screen you can see that it eliminates the black the black shade that was there originally when we uploaded the photo so vignette will help the photo eliminate so this is the original if you slide it to the left side it will eliminate the dark shades of grey on the left side of the photo so that's it and save a copy okay now as you can see uh it improved a little so at least you already have that and then after editing your signature that's already saved we're going to close that and open a document wherein we can use our dummy signature so let's open a blank document so in your blend document for example your signature is required and you are jeans santos okay so let's create a space wherein you are required to put your signature so if you are required to put your signature on this space you just get your signature photo this one sign and just directly drag this to your document okay i see that so from this folder you just drag it to your document and just release okay so we're going to maximize and as you can see the document has been integrated in the the signature has been has been integrated in your document but it um it moves the text because it occupies a space in your document which is the first line and second line so it adjusts the text so in order to address this you just click or you can right click this one okay and then you go to work wrap text so if you don't want to use the right click wrap text is already here layout options okay so you just click that and then choose behind text or if you have you can use uh in front of text or through text so again we're going to use behind text so if if you observe our signature has already been [Music] put or placed over the text without affecting the position of the text so again when you import your signature photo you just change the layout layout options and use behind text okay so after this you can already adjust the size of your signature okay so if you need to do this okay now can you still edit the photo while inside ms word yes so just click the photo of your signature and then right click so at the bottom you're going to see format photo or format picture okay so a menu will appear on the right side of your screen and use the right most part which is picture okay so you have the following options picture correction picture color and then the other one is crop which you do not need because you already crop your signature so here again you can see that you can adjust the brightness and the contrast and you have presets meaning it already has different options that you can use in order to adjust your photo okay so if you do not want to use the controls for sharpness brightness and contrast you use the presets so example the brightness try to control the brightness and the signature becomes clearer okay but the background is still a little bit gray so i'll try to move the brightness so you can see that okay this one will definitely help our signature so i increase the sharpness and i increase the brightness just a little bit okay and as you can see it's like it's really uh placed over the signature like a marker or ball pen did it on the original document okay so i hope this was able to help you decide on how to sign your documents so after doing this you can already save your document after saving you can either send this as ms word file or pdf file together with your signature so you can send this online without going to your office and submitting this face to face so it would
