um well nice to see y'all well it is well i mean i think what's happening you know in washington with grants is the biggest thing i've ever seen in grant i've been studying this stuff 40 or 50 years and you see the title i i talk about you know the 1.9 billion dollars now every trillion i mean 1.9 trillion so that's two trillion dollars now there are like 122 million families or what they call households in the united states so the 122 families are households yeah so a household could be one person it could be 10 people or whatever so that's why they count uh a lot of things and just not individuals so there's like 300 million 350 320 something but it's 120 to households and if you divide you know 122 households into 2 trillion you get about 16 000 for every household yeah okay and then i see i got about eight thousand dollars because i said okay half of that money that they're giving out is going to uh going to counties and cities and states and things like that and it'll eventually get to people because they hire people and everything so but eliminating that direct cash from the government to your pocket and not through an intermediary averages i think probably about 8 000 or so that's just in this now don't forget we already gave out three trillion or four i i lost count and after this there's going to be more they're talking now also about a uh four or five well three or four trillion dollar uh investment in uh you know our infrastructure to rebuild our infrastructure okay and so that's going to be a lot in the individual pockets because for to rebuild infrastructure that means you know fix up our roads or bridge or our wi-fi all that stuff that makes us more competitive and there's the last time we had that big one it was really eisenhower when he put the highway system in so we were able to transport you know goods and services a lot easier well now that's why wi-fi this is allows us to transport easily so if we have lousy wi-fi you're really out of the economic game so so many people are nowadays because they uh are not there oh joe mel oh yeah kimberly samuel hi thanks for showing out kimberly uh i know you see in the description i have a link that's a download of the report and i'm giving it free to people uh on youtube also because it's something important we should all have the government should be doing this and what i do what i did was box vox i mean there's a lot of media out there you know but vox is one of the ones that uh came up after you know the the traditional big magazines and everybody were dying vox's specializes just in investigative reporting and things like that uh and i'm not sure they're not a non-profit i don't think but there are a lot of things like that the different kinds of uh media sources that just concentrate on quality of product more than anything and trying to sell you as much so vox had a great report on what's in the new stimulus package okay see and the stimulus package that left the house about a week and a half ago or whatever not my house and it's not a household counted at census this is the house of representatives that house now it left the house a week or so ago to get over to the senate so they have to vote on it and all things being equal it looks like the senate is going to oh hi yolanda uh the senate is going to approve what the house do now they're going to take another half a week or week or whatever uh to dance around so they get some air time on television that's what most of them work for because like me i mean when i was selling books i mean getting airtime that's valuable because they're trying to get voters so these people uh why pay for advertising if you could act crazy and get free advertising because the camera comes to you you know so that's what these politicians do that's what i did when i was selling books on television i don't have to do that anymore i enjoy acting crazy but thank god i do uh it's a lot of books right well i got people you have to you know you can't educate i learned that as a professor i taught computer science you know colleges in washington dc and this was back before anybody knew how to spell computer science yeah back in the 70s and i was teaching mostly to adults and i found i realized that hey these adults are coming after a full day of work and i had to first keep them awake to be able to teach them anything and that was important uh to keep them awake and that's how i see media is or anything and it yeah if you can't keep somebody awake you you you're not going to teach them anything greetings from sunny florida have stayed started helping people with rent the system yes the rent assistance i mean that was i've been telling you that a lot because that's something that passed in the last stimulus and by the way the new stimulus is going to have rent assistance in it again and they haven't even started getting out the past assistance now i was just doing uh answering questions for lesko help and people talking about rent help and i think i i went to utah and oregon and washington state and all those states that i looked at they they have the program they say where it's going to be but it won't be available for applications for another week or two so that's good though at least now they're starting to say hey it's going to be over here and they're raising the flag so start looking wherever you are because see if you were looking a week or two ago you were running into program you would go to you would search for uh rental relief rental grants or whatever you wanted and you would find programs in your area that had that and you would call them up and they say oh no we ran out of money okay oh no we ran out of money so you would think that okay that's not available for me because that's local and there's that was what i was looking for and they ran out of money that makes sense okay and so it's not there that was bad that was wrong and that hurts so many people uh cannot find the application okay if you're a uh a let's go help member uh just uh put in a discussion that you're looking for rental uh grants and i'll help find it where now don't forget there's a couple place the main thing is what you search for in rental grants now and i see this is what's coming up because it's the name of the program that comes from the treasury department is emergency rental assistance okay that's what you want and it has to when you read the description what it is it has to be at least 12 months worth of rent they'll pay for and oh you know what i also found out just recently reading the small print of them it's also to help you move they have rental money they have money to pay utilities you know the 12 months worth and money to move you if you're not in a good place wow i get a lot of calls about moving and the only one i know of that i suggest people try you see every state every city every county everybody has non-profit organizations that they get emergency money from the federal government to give out so emergency money say and you can use that emergency where can i find a covett grant well in the list i mean there's literally thousands of them brian but in the list the link in the description i have 32 new covid grants that are going to be available in a couple weeks from the stimulus field from biden okay and i'm reading a report a question from um whatever now what you should do brian as a member you want to go up on the top on the dashboard kind of thing uh let's go help up on top there's a link that says more m-o-r-e you click on that and you will see files f-i-l-e-s and you click on that and you'll see every state there now that's where you want to start brian is go and get your what these are mini grants what we've done is let's go i'm so gig that god gave us someone like you where's the list from michigan flint in the city uh what i have them is by state patricia so again go up to the link it says more up on the top dashboard of facebook more click on more then go down to files how can i become a member uh it's uh let's go help calm l-e-s-k-o-h-e-l-p uh dot-com and go down to files and they'll be a state-by-state listing download that there's 500 grants in each one of those things yeah and that's where you now see besides that uh then i'm i i have the report if you go to the report and the same in youtube if you go to the description and you put to i have a a link there that talks about the 32 grants that are in the new stimulus and where to go to apply i don't have specifically but i show you where to start searching for where that will be in your state okay and actually the youtube people if if you you know don't want to join and you're looking for the uh the mini grants for your reports reported all the time i was getting kicked out of school all the time too it wasn't just for having fun nothing malicious i'm not that mean um i just like having fun and i have and people who wanted to make the tr trains run on time at school didn't enjoy me disrupting the traffic you're a blessing good sir oh it's impeached that you know that's why all i want to do for the rest of my life now is help as many people as possibly can with what i know i didn't know this was helpful to so many people and now i feel incredible obligation before i die really just to spend every waking minute showing people what i know i mean if it doesn't work anymore then i'll go learn something else or try to do something i think that's what we're here for is to take our skills our knowledge or our talent and and you know get in a way so that we could use it to help somebody else okay uh you know whether you're a doctor you know that's what it is uh you're a cook well then take your talents and you cook the best thing that uh anybody could have and that that's your way to share i got an eviction notice and i'm also scared that they are not going to help in time maybe so okay okay here's what to do with the eviction notice go to get no just j-u-s-t and then shelter s-h-e-l-t-e-r just j-u-s-t s-h-e-l-t-e-r that's one word and then dot org so just shelter.org you go there and they have a local help now the local help will be a big a big map of the united states you click on your uh state and you'll see all the free legal help that's available to prevent you from getting evicted prevent you from being foreclosed or whatever because there's laws to protect you but the people that want your money are reading the laws their way the people that want you money want to scare the pants off you so that you do nothing but try to get them money okay now you have to level the playing field by understanding your rights and getting it from legal help not from some crazy yahoo in a question mark suit on the internet you know you want to get uh that cell water machine so you want to get that legal help and they're all volunteer lawyers and non-profit organizations somebody's already paying them to help you for free see that's what people don't realize there's so many people that are getting paid to help you for free but they don't advertise because they can't they don't have money for advertising when people are trying to get money from you then they're going to advertise they'll give money to google and other people on the internet so they advertise to get you uh and they'll give google a lot of money and then they'll get you and then bring you in and get money from you okay these people are not going to get any money from you so they have no money to give to uh google or anybody else so when you go to google these people google has no incentive to tell you about uh let's see if that's uh yeah i don't know uh yeah i i'm not sure if i know i i have another camera i put on for uh instagram just to see if anybody is there but to educate people but i i don't think it's working yeah and i don't use instagram that much but i'm starting to use a little more so i want to figure it out and i want to stream on instagram you know when i do these things good evening mr lesco very cool to meet you well thank you brian another eviction help look for your local law school yes see there's all these things uh and they may have a landlord tenant clinton yes they do a lot of have to do but you know a just shelter they're very organized for the whole country see they're an advocacy group uh to provide free legal help all over the country is there a mortgage assistance bill there are the april the the mortgage assistance that's available now is usually at the local and state level there's a lot of programs out there depends on where you live uh my accountant said i don't qualify uh joseph don't believe your accountant he's not giving you money i mean he may be right but i wouldn't i wouldn't go the ppp is trying to give out so much money now right now they just changed the laws again now this is the you know anybody who's a small business and joseph i i guess you're a small little entrepreneur uh you know and you can get up to 20 dollars with no uh this is the short form i don't know if you have a lot of employees that's different if you're a single person uh the requirements are so different so don't trust the accountant get it from uh try one of these apps and call them because uh it's only five minutes you i just did a video did i put it up yes okay uh look at my video oh joseph you're um uh a member uh uh put let me give you what i have joseph uh moply how do you spell that guys m-o-p-l-e-y is that it uh m-o-p-l-y or l-e-y-m-o-p-l-e-y hey that is uh uh let's see that's one of the big people that apply and it costs you nothing to apply oh yeah that's it yes uh m-o-o-w-o-m-p-l-y joseph w-o-m-p-l-y dot com go and they got a little instant app fill it out if you have a schedule c this is really for people who have a schedule uh c on their tax return so if you're an independent and have a schedule c on your tax return then you go to someone like uh wombly w-o-m-p-l-y or other ones like that you could you could put you know like google like won't bleed w-o-n because they have easy applications to fill online you get a copy of your schedule c from your tax your 10 40 and you just apply and what they've done is increase the amount you could get incredibly because they were use it on profit and now they're not using profit anymore they're using the top number your total sales and people get a lot more money hello please provide information in hawaii but patrick you sent me some good information to share with people about the uh pandemic and unemployment people want to remember this unemployment if you're not familiar with the pandemic unemployment that they cover so much more than than your father used to use as unemployment yeah my wife and i recently lost our house in a fire and now living in a tent here in texas wow i've lost everything uh what do i need to do first to get qualified for ppp and edl oh if if you made some kind of money uh blatant uh and you just fill out a form you know and you see if you reply everything is different so you just look for forms of fill out if you have someone to talk to then you talk to them about it uh you could cut i mean the womply w-o-m-p-l-y people are pretty easy to get on the phone i call them up and talk to them easy uh so and if you have just a a schedule c in your taxes and then you could apply and that's a short form no credit report is required they're not going to check your credit i mean it's the best deal in town uh but now particularly you lost your house in a fire and everything what you have to start doing is calling everybody in your city uh in your state that is there to help people with financial problems see there are seven or eight offices and what blatant uh is that yeah uh genious ed well sorry i'm killing your name uh but the way to find that uh the way to start is ask for your uh community action agency caa community action agency uh that's where you want to find they're one of the sources that help you with financial problems and they know all the basic programs to get you going uh i've gone to every charity organization uh okay well when you say every maybe maybe not you know i mean there's always more i mean then start talking to your elected officials i mean it's hard to say you've been to every area because depending on where you are you know there could be hundreds yeah uh and then but you have non-profits you have government offices and then the other thing is you have your elected officials and that's what you have we are needing uh y'all's prayer oh a little southern writing there yeah uh and that's now if you're online the other thing i would do is start trying to generate income from what they call the gig economy you do that online and do stupid little jobs you know that makes some money you're not going to be a millionaire i need i need information on finding funding for housing marcia yes okay uh uh if you go up to more okay marcia is a let's go help member and i want to show you how to use this uh go to more you know in the headline on top there's a list of keywords one of them on the right hand side is called more click on more and go down and click on files f-i-l-e-s okay and when you click on files you'll see all the states there look for your state and download what we're calling the mini grants report so this is the mini grants report for your state what if you are self-employed however don't file taxes then you're still eligible well not for that uh because all your people that do work for pays you with cash well if you don't pay taxes that's going to be harder but try i i i don't know for sure and that's why patricia just go with one of them and play cash and maybe you could show them your your bank account that you put them in there whatever but if you don't you don't have a tax report that may be difficult but i don't know i mean there's always exceptions they're all call a few of the people you know uh go to google and put apply ppp and find some nice people to talk to and see hey is this possible and somebody says no don't believe them call them another one somebody says no don't believe them call another one somebody says no okay i give up now what else could i look for yeah made it gosh was lost a second kelly thank you so up there on the uh more and the files you'll see the many reports uh many grant reports for every state this country yeah and you download that and then what we've done is broken down all those re all those grants that are in there uh into six different categories one is to pay your bills and expenses uh two is for your business so that that's another thing patricia uh look up there in uh more and you want to download the mini grants report and download that and see in in the business part there are seven organizations in your state whose job it is if you want to start a business or you want to grow a business is to help you with that that's all they do yeah and they get paid to do that help you find money help you find this whatever you think you need and and they're all free they're seven it's not one it's seven okay and there's another one for housing yeah uh so all the programs to get you started on housing and see this is it it may be magic it may not be you know you can't count on magic you have to create it by accident that's how magic happens uh i happen to you can't go i'm going to go out and create magic today you know no you're going to go out and work at trying to you're going to do that again work it trying to and then you're going to work at trying to and you're gonna keep doing that until you get tired as hell and then you're gonna say oh i gotta do this anymore and then you'll get up oh god what i have to do no i better just keep doing okay work and try and do and then by accident you run into something you had no id dear lesko didn't give it to you but let's go starting on a path that made you bump into this thing by accident yeah and and that's that's how i mean all the businesses i started i've started dozens of no i don't know but uh half a dozen or so and and most failed um or took two failures till i got something going and and and everything i started the idea i started with even on this all the successful ones are not the idea i wound up with if that makes sense yeah i said oh hey i bet i can make money doing xyz and i start doing how i remember and i started doing the oh no this isn't working but you know and then you're out there doing something and then you see something else oh i should have done that yeah but you couldn't see that until you get there in other words it's like you got to take a step to see around the corner you go and see around the corner what's going on you say well here here's what i think is the most important thing and that's true and for what you see but you don't see around the corner and all that that's happening around the corner is probably better worse or whatever it's either worse and it's going to kick you on a butt or it's better and are there grants for small but for profits are there grants for small non-profits is that what you mean yes yes all the business grants now that are uh available for businesses particularly from colgate area are are normally all available to non-profit like the ppp that's sort of non-profit edil also for non-profits here uh and that's a you know so it's whether you're a non-profit or what thanks for the info let's go i was approved for ppp through wumpley after denial last year oh tracy great why yay i'm an independent contractor i've applied for round two with the gross income amount learn how to get a contract see then you could keep getting more and more and more that's why i always believe that they're better than grants but uh grants will help you get kicked down the road a agency so that's two good places to start how many grants are available in wisconsin my wife lost her job a lot of unemployment coming in for uh wife hasn't had employment well make sure she applies to now the pandemic unemployment no matter what if it was a normal job or not is there somewhere my wife can call qualifying says i've talked to my electric official they told me uh their grants well too i would look at uh you want to do your own i know friends of mine have done that by by doing crowdfunding you know for that uh also is if you're a filmmaker do film for the government get a government contract that's another way to live until you do your own yeah i'm single dear that's okay kathy it's nice by the way there's a program now i don't real in the new biden thing uh you can um you're gonna get like uh fourteen hundred dollars okay if there's two of you you get twenty eight hundred dollars if you have children then you get another three thousand dollars or maybe thirty six hundred dollars for every child now if you don't have children you get another fifteen hundred dollars that's an income limit you can't make over like twenty or thirty thousand something like that i forget but there's now a a child tax credit if you don't have a child because people need that too see that the low income tax credit was only for people that had children well now they have our people are childless actually thinking of uh there's a movie i think i won an award whatever awards they have for movies uh a woman living in a van van life yeah and her family says she's homeless he said no i have a home i live in my bed i'm houseless i'm not homeless i'm houseless that's what it is uh okay what about student loan forgiveness any new quantifiers granted well yeah i mean they're you don't have a lot of income i mean there's ways other ways of getting around getting that reduced a lot or not paying or whatever make sure you know all the legal ways how do you find out studentloan.gov i think one of them is make sure you find out from dot orgs or dot gov and don't make a decision uh by somebody of the dot con dot com calling you because they're selling you something that's they have to do that anybody who's calling you who's writing you or is on the internet you know trying to get your attention is paying google to do that or paying somebody else and then they have to pay that person so that means they have to get money from you the people i give you everyone i give you will never charge you okay this is what i'm trying to show people that you there is so much out there that doesn't charge you for stuff but you don't know because these people don't advertise all we know is the people that advertise and then we talk to people for help and they've used only the people that advertise that cost money so nobody knows about this underground help it's not really underground too this is america and all the rich people use the hell out of it this is how i development center sbdc small business development center that's an office in your county that gets government money to help people start businesses or increase businesses and there's a half a dozen for mortgage so what you want to do is call your state housing authority now state housing finance authority state housing so if you live in oregon oregon state housing finance authority contact them you want to invent in the va for veterans administration is something called county veterans service office county veterans service office they're the people that only do research for veterans to get them money that's all they do and they don't get paid by you they get paid by the government just to help you get money so you want to find if you uh you're a vet or a active military you're looking
