okay so let's do it one by one so i'm going to log out from this particular user first okay and then i'm gonna log in with another user okay and now in this one the first thing i'm gonna go is look for setup and maintenance so you can either go from navigator others and then setup and maintenance alternatively you can go from the right hand side you click on the user name and then go to setup and maintenance this way all right and now from here you go to users and security and then go to manage job roles a new window will open and within this new window you navigate to users and now look for user callers kelvin roth which we were working on so click on this one and so now if i go on and look for a role under the rules you see i have already assigned a role call as employee but if at all you haven't assigned make sure you assign this role employee and the role code must be aura per employee abstract make sure you have this one and you don't have to assign this particular role so slight difference between these two roles okay now what i'm going to do is i'm going to copy this particular role code and i'm going to show you the role itself and that's where you will see within that role there is a privilege for downloading the application desktop integrator so i'm going to close this one and and then i'm gonna go to the roles out here and then i would look for that particular role this one okay and within this one you see at the moment at the bottom it is showing all the roles so you change this view to privileges and here i would just wait for this to load and then i will scroll down and look for the privilege to download the application desktop integrator so hopefully it will start with download you see this one download desktop integrator and the privileged code is atk download desktop integrator okay and the other details are shown here you see this allows to download and install the desktop integrator and it is inherited from employee and the solution i've shown you is not working but 99 of the time it works so in my case it has not worked now why it has not but maybe there could be some technical reason that i have to dig down but if can download a patch for application desktop integrator and within that patch you will have an executable a windows executable file and that you can give it to your users to simply install it to go to oracle support website and within that you navigate to this particular tab patches and updates and then you search for this patch 31409616 and then hit the save search button so once you hit
