anyway raise your hand if you haven't signed a document with DocuSign before my god that's that's so awesome well thank you I guess I'll start with thank you how's the sound is that too loud just right okay good so I'm gonna spend basically about 20 minutes talking to you guys and giving a demo and save a bunch of time for questions and answers we actually have some folks from duck still in the room like the head of engineering for our Salesforce Group fred is in the back corner raising waving his hand and so if they're you know I have I'm happy to make it interactive I don't mind being interrupted in the middle of session I'd rather it was collaborative what we talk about is DocuSign not just the sort of where we've started which most of us know is for the signing business but actually how we've extended to build out an entire system of agreement platform okay jump in so the problem that we solve if you think about it is agreements are absolutely everywhere in fact one of my co-workers once said businesses are basically an instantiation of all the agreements that they've ever signed if you think about the fact that the lights are on someone has to sign some sort of agreement the fact that we get paid to show up at our job and they're in every department and what's cool about this is it actually exists all around the world and companies have a process for how they manage their agreements the problem of the process is generally as Geoffrey Moore said yesterday it kind of sucks right it starts with how you prepare a document how you get it signed and maybe what actions you take on that agreement and then how you manage it a lot of this is manual there's work involved that involve people double entering data you go out to paper processes how often you've ever found that problem where someone says hey where's that document that we signed with that one vendor that's about to maybe auto renew I don't know it's in Suzie's desk somewhere so the process has quite a few problems in that it's manual labor intensive prone to error and what we see is an opportunity to create an entire system of agreement that addresses this from how you you know start with signing so you you guys recognize that you know we see this as an easy way of taking a place that was the last mile we went last mile first the last mile even if you had a great process for getting businesses to agree with you or customers to agree with you you ultimately it would fall apart as soon as you have to send it to them and then they have to print it and fax it and scan it I actually don't know how to use a fax machine anymore and I...
