[Music] hi everyone today we'll be talking about how to change or remove a digital signature using sodapdf this video is concerning the local digital signature tool that taps into a windows certificate to validate if any changes have been made to a document if you want to know more about electronic signatures check out our playlist on e-sign videos this document has been signed with a local signature and you can validate it by clicking on it while in view mode what this also means is if you click on your document to make changes you'll see that the restrictions have been locked as long as the signature is in play you can clear a signature from a document using soda pdf by clicking into view mode right-clicking on that signature field and choosing clear signature you'll now see that there is an empty signature field left and if we were to jump into edit mode we could add a new text box and proceed to add text to this document and make any other changes if we want to apply a new digital signature to this document using sodapdf first make sure you're in view mode and then click into this field to apply your signature first you'll choose from your appearances you can decide whether or not to add a timestamp and then head down here to pick the certificate you'd like to add click on sign you'll be prompted to save your document and when you do your new signature is in place and your document is now again restricted alternatively you can remove this signature field from the document entirely right click on the field while in view mode to clear the signature then jump into edit mode where you can right click on the signature field and choose delete to remove it from your document when you save your file you can now send it to anyone and it will be unsigned and unrestricted meaning anyone can make changes and anyone else can apply their signature to this document well that's all there is to it everyone let us know in the comments what you thought like the video if you found it helpful and subscribe to this channel for more content like this follow us on twitter and like us on facebook to stay up to date with everything happening in the world of sodapdf thanks for watching have a wonderful day
