I have been a Quora user for over two years and there are still features that I struggle with. For example, I am using the latest version (11) of Internet Explorer, but the message at the top of my screen in Windows 10 says: "You are using an unsupported version of Internet Explorer. Install Google Chrome or upgrade Internet Explorer." When I click on the link to upgrade, I get the message: "Looking for Internet Explorer? Good news—you already have the latest version on your system." What sort of disconnect is that? What's more, the message obscures the text on my screen. Here is a screenshot of it: If I switch to the Firefox browser, I again lose all the information at the top of my screen: So, yes, there are "features" (or the lack of features) that I have struggled—and am still struggling—unsuccessfully to use. Now, if I try to click on either one of the screenshots above, the enlarged form of the screenshot appears above the top of my screen and I am unable to scroll upward in order to see it. The only thing I can do is press Esc on the keyboard to cancel out, and therefore I can't see the screenshot at all. This new, "improved" Quora interface leaves a lot to be desired. __________P.S. If I try to use the new Microsoft Edge browser, which comes with Windows 10, I am required to sign in to Quora using Google. You won't physically injure yourself using email marketing software improperly, but knowing a little about the process can help you make good decisions. Simply put, email marketing software lets you send lots of email in an imitation of a one-on-one correspondence without having to send each email individually.This isn't important if you are only sending a newsletter you wrote to ten friends. In that case you could send it to your alternative email account and BCC the friends. An email marketing software provider (ESP) wouldn't be necessary. But say you want to send a newsletter to a couple hundred people? In that case, using the BCC for that many names would quickly send your email to the spam folder with many mailbox providers. By using an ESP your mailing stands a better chance of landing in the inbox. If the list of people to whom you want to send your newsletter only comprises a few hundred people, you can still get away relatively cheaply.So far, you are still sending the same email to everyone. This is known as "batch-and-blast," and, while every ESP is capable of handling this, it doesn't really take advantage of one of the best features of email marketing software: the ability to personalize each mailing.
