1964 sabre was successfully processing over 7 500 reservations per hour it helped reduce reservation processing time from over an hour to a matter of just minutes this was a revolutionary improvement in the reservation processing field the system underwent numerous improvements over the years and is now part of the saber global distribution system owned by sabre corporation and used by travel
