Industry sign banking nevada job offer mobile
Another episode of "On The Road With The Loan Signing System" with notary public loan signing agent Ashley Allen from Las Vegas, Nevada. First off
how are you doing today? I feel amazing I feel like I'm still on autopilot I'm on
an extreme high. This is an amazing journey and I want to say thank you Mark for having me on today. You're so welcome. For everyone watching this story is absolutely amazing because she
became a Loan Signing System student and a notary public loan signing agent a whole whopping 30 days ago. In her first 30 days of being a notary public loan signing agent she made over $6,000. When I say that how does that feel? I feel like I'm dreaming. I feel so proud. I felt so accomplished and I felt so grateful to you Mark and the entire Loan Signing System family.
This is a journey that I am like blown away by. I had no expectations of this even
happening at this level at this time. I am so proud of you and I want to say I'm
proud of you because you are my quickest student to getting from zero to the $6k Club
in three years of thousands of thousands of students. You have scaled
this so darn quick. I'm so proud of you Ashley and I want to share your journey
on how you scaled it so quick. So not only Loan Signing System students and
family members can get inspired but anyone else out there who has been wanting and thinking about becoming a notary public loan signing agent because at the time of this recording we're in the middle of an unprecedented time in our country's history. We're
in the middle of the Coronavirus and the pandemic and she still did six
thousand dollars in the heart of it and we're gonna talk about how
she's staying safe out there, how business is out there, but even in a non
pandemic time this story is a journey because she's gonna tell you
exactly how she scaled it from zero to six thousand dollars in 30 days. Are you
ready to tell your journey? Yes Mark I'm ready let's go! Okay so let's start from
the top. I start every single one of these episodes with the same
question because I think everyone has their own reasonings on why they become a notary public loan signing agent and why they want to become a notary public loan signing agent. So let's tell your story. Let me ask you the question I asked every student why Ashley did you choose become a notary public loan signing agent? My reason for choosing to become a
notary public loan signing agent I needed a way out I needed to do something
different because I've let myself down and my daughter financially struggling
for over the past four years and entrepreneurship devers. I had my own business prior to signing up for the Loan Signing System course and things weren't working out and
I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting the results I needed but when I
just had to make a decision that I needed it better for my life better for
my daughter. I was at a point where I was tired of disappointing
myself financially and just seeing the look on my daughter's face that I
felt like I let her down. Just financially it was hard for a long time
and she went to college and I didn't want her last memories of me as her mom
just not being able to be successful in my life as she start our own journey so I
needed to start a new journey as well. Thank you so much for sharing that.
Thank you for being vulnerable. I think you're not
the only mom or dad who wants to do their best to not only support
their family obviously but be that role model that we all want to be for
them. I'm a new dad and so I'm now trying to understand what
you go through as a parent emotionally and so like I said it's such a
beautiful thing. Now that you've been able to scale it in 30 days from zero
dollars, it still blows my mind by the way, to six thousand dollars. Kind of talk about that entrepreneurial rollercoaster you've
been on. Kind of talk people through that. I think you're not
the only entrepreneur out there who's tried a few different endeavors
and you said something a couple minutes ago about how you've tried other
things. Kind of talk about that rollercoaster that maybe another. what I
would call the serial entrepreneur, has gone through. The hardest part about my
journey as an entrepreneur was just having that
moment of uncertainty nothing was certain and just seeing that
disappointment on my daughter's face when things didn't work out and the
check didn't clear, her seeing me work long hours without seeing any benefit that
was disheartening. For myself I can take it because I understand that what goes
into building a business but for a 16 year old girl that is heartbreaking to watch her lose faith in her mom. It's hard to see her lose faith and have her to continue to believe in me and to
see it work. When I told her that it worked she has seen everything. She's a part of the journey. I'm a single mom. For her to see this work it's like we were both like you said you did it it's happening. We get to
celebrate but it was like at least four years of not knowing. I always made
enough to provide for her but again it was just not enough to do anything extra
either pay the bills or invest back in the business and with this it's like we went
out to eat like we're not calculating anything we're spending
not being reckless but able to treat ourselves again like as if I was working
a consistent paycheck and it's just like money's coming every day. I don't
even like understand. It feels like it doesn't feel right I haven't even had a
chance to process this. And what I've been able to do is invest back into the loan
signing business. I'm able to get more stamps more papers everything that I
need an inverter I'm able to even felt comfortable enough with consistent
income to buy a new car to push the business forward. Everything is
still going back into the business but it's just less pressure.
I don't have to think about money. It's just focus on a business for care and
invest to make it go further so that's where I'm at with it Mark. Ashley I just want
to let you know you found your niche. You found it.
All what you've gone through has led you to this moment and so I'm so happy for
you and your daughter. I'm so happy for the moment. I'm so happy for what your
future holds. Out of thousands of students Ashley and you were the
quickest to ever get to $6,000 and that is due to the effort
that is due to your work ethic that is due to your knowledge
it's due to all the quote unquote failures because I don't believe in
failures, they're lessons. Everything in life is a lesson. So all the lessons your
previous business had, has led to this moment and so I want you to stand proud
look your daughter in the face and let her know that you found it. This is the
industry for you. We have students making $20,000 a month that
were not able to build this as quick as you've built it. I want you to really understand that.
There are students we have, and you know who they are, who have twenty three
thousand dollars a month. It took them six months to get to the $6k Club. And that's
what I say I'm extremely grateful for because it's nothing that I can say that
I actually did. The only thing that I actually did was take the advice from
the course, from students who's gone before me, and it's a lot of information
but you have to condense it. I've studied sessions on what you want to apply
because it's so much information it's all valuable but you have to apply at
the level that you're on based on your availability, your circumstances. Make
your own study guide within the course because it's so much valuable
information. You can get overwhelming but you can't look at
anyone else's journey. You have to make sure that you taking it in as you
go to get the result. Mark I don't even know like all I do is I wake up and
people telling me oh send the invoice like I've got local it's just so much Mark. Like invoices and I make sure like the
information that's in a group the simple like the simplest tips like make the
calls from Kelvin. Taffy said just wake up and get dressed.
There's so much power in those simple tips. One of the things that did it for me that made me say this is gonna be
for me was an interview from the conference I believe I don't know where
I saw it probably within the course but when I saw like so many people in a
panel at different stages and levels and like I said that this is longevity in
it. This is not anything that's going away. These people done it before. I was
like this is some security that's in this business I'm gonna commit to it.
Because being an entrepreneur I know what's a fad I know what's height and
with the Loan Signing System you were able to say this is the target audience,
this is the marketing strategy, this is the tools because without having all of
that you won't succeed. And it is like you're having a complete business over
contacts and everything, script, you just have to do the work. I love it. I'm going to get to this next part of our conversation but I want to I'm going to say one more time Ashley I'm so
proud of you. I know you were so vulnerable there. And
everything that's led to this moment has put you in position to succeed as
quick as you are right now. So I know you look back to your previous journeys
and I know you look back on what you would call disappointments I always call
them learning lessons and we're gonna get into how you scaled this so quick. And
we're gonna get into the mindset of a mom and a mindset of a serial
entrepreneur because those are things I cannot take credit for. I cannot take
credit for your tenacity. I cannot take credit for your courage. I cannot take
credit for your strength. So I want you to continue to just look yourself in the
mirror and be proud and look at your daughter and let your daughter know
like everything that we've been to this point has led me to this spot.
You're the quickest out of thousands and thousands, I'm going to start crying, of notary public loan signing agent students Ashley to ever get to the $6K Club. Faster than Calvin, faster than
Andrew, faster than Bill, faster than Robin, faster than Laura.
I mean I'm naming some of the big hitters in our group and
you scaled quicker 30 days six thousand dollars from zero to that.
So I want you to stop thinking about the lessons you learned and start
thinking about like how powerful this moment is, how all that has led you to
this. I could not be more proud. I'm gonna be here every step of this journey going
forward I'm going nowhere. I will see you in that $10k Club. I will see
you at conference on stage with all the other $10k members. Ashley I'm proud
of you. I'm so so proud of you. Mark thank you so much and just to hear those words from
you and everyone in the group and that's the only place that I've even shared any
part of this journey with. I haven't told anybody about this is. I haven't told
anybody about the winds. That's the only place that I go to share because after
again after you've been through something people lose faith in you so I'm not
sharing they're just gonna see now and I just want to say thank you for creating
this course creating this platform thank you from having even that
membership to be a part of on a day to day because the
jewels, the course is powerful, but the jewels that they drop in real-time it's
almost having like a 1-800 hotline. Like if there's anything that you want to
celebrate, need to know, it's instant access. And it's just an amazing decision that I
made thank you so much. You're so welcome and I think you hit something
on the head that most people outside of the Loan Signing System don't understand
but I would argue the Loan Signing System family is arguably better than the
course that I offer. The family is unbelievable. I can't take credit for that either. You put
a bunch of people in one place who understand that we're not each other's
competition. We're not against each other.
There's room for all of us at the top. When you put a group of people,
professionals. Why did I say people? A group of professionals in one group you
see the magic that happens and again I can't take credit for that like I'm just
honored to be a small part of that family along with you and everybody else
but Ashley I'm so happy you are here. Everything you've done have led to this
moment embrace it. Put your shoulders back put your head
high because girl you're gonna be in the $10k Club so darn quick! Okay so let's talk
about the next part of your journey. I know everyone's excited about
how did you scale this in 30 days to $6,000 bucks? So let's talk about that.
Before we talk about that answer I always want to inspire some other people. Before you
became a notary public loan signing agent you were never in escrow, you were never a real
estate agent, you were never a mortgage officer, you were never a notary public loan signing agent. So you literally went from scratch to six thousand dollars a month.
Correct never done any mortgage anything like that. This is my first time. I
learned just like everyone else in the course. So could you say if you
could do this anybody could do this? I would say the only requirement that you
need is to be able to pay attention to detail that's the only
requirement that you need. Anyone can do this. I agree I agree I agree okay
so let's talk about a couple things just a couple things. So there's one
thing I want to talk about because in the time of this
taping, we're in the middle of the Coronavirus and so
here's a few things I want to talk about in real time even though this
is gonna be on YouTube for the next 5-10 years but in real time somebody watching
this I mean would you say that there is a ton of business in the middle the
Coronavirus going on? I will definitely say there is a ton of business in the middle
of the Coronavirus. It's essential like loans still have to get funded.
What's happening right now it's not a shock to us because we get
information inside of the group, inside of the course where we're up to date on
what's going on, how to still move forward in this time that we're
dealing with. So I don't feel any pressure because there's precautions
that we're able to take information that's in the group so I don't feel like
alone in this time of crisis at all. So I feel prepared as a notary public loan signing agent and even on a personal level precaution that I can take to take care of myself and my
family if I chose to continue to work. So I appreciate that as well but there's definitely business out there, continued, it's not an impact. And in one of the trainings that you said when
things happen in our economy it's almost like our business is put up on a pedestal
to continue like the demand it's more. It's so different now that this is
happening and if they ask, even before I take a signing, they ask do I feel
comfortable doing a signing. They're not pushing it on me they're taking precautions if I'm
inside of a title office so it's almost like they're rolling out the red carpet
for us now. Yeah I know we're an essential business that's all there is
to it. There's some people outside saying oh there's notary public loan
signing agents making money so of course you said it as good
as I could have. Loans are funding and closing right now I mean
could you imagine if loans quit funding in America? That would shut
down our economy. So I just want to say that. I also want to say you're welcome.
Keeping you guys up to knowledge on the best way to safety
precautions, the best way to take to protect yourself. I want you to
make money as much as I want you to stay safe for your family so you're welcome
and I'm doing my best to gather as much information out there as possible to
give to you students to make sure that you're out there protecting yourselves
and your families but ultimately serving the economy. A notary public loan signing
agent now is an integral piece of this economy. Without notaries loans wouldn't fund,
period. And if loans were funding our real estate sector would go kaput. So
thank you for helping our economy stay up. Thank you for taking all
the advice and tips I'm giving to stay safe. So now we got that out of the way
let's talk about your journey from zero to $6,000 in 30 days. Okay so let's talk
about that journey. Okay so let's talk about how you've got in the
business thirty days ago and I think at the time this interview is probably like
35 days ago but in your first 30 days you clear just over six thousand dollars.
What would you attribute that scaling to growing from zero to six thousand dollars in your first 30 days?
The number one thing is you have to I can't attribute it to anything that
I've personally done myself because it's laid out in the course. Everything's
in the group. If you follow it and I know this sounds so cliche but you have to
trust the investment that you made. You invested in a course you have to trust
it. And it's so simple that you're gonna feel like it's not working but you can't
stop. After I took the course and I passed the course I printed
everything out so I can study even when I wasn't getting signings I wasn't worried
about getting signings because in my mind I made the right investment so I'm like
it's gonna work. I've done everything in the course so if signings are not coming
that's fine. I looked at Calvin's interview he was like just pick up the
phone and start calling. There's a script inside of the course. If you don't feel
comfortable using it, Mark allows us that flexibility to edit it to make it our
own so that way we can own it. One of the things I said with the script as I
started getting on the phone because I was new and I hadn't had the
experience which it can hinder a lot of people I told them that I have continued
weekly education and that gave me the confidence that I need. I told them what I
studied and I was honest and they felt comfortable because they knew the
language and you have to be careful because they're gonna believe you using that
script. They're gonna believe you. One time one signing that I received it was
very very early on she was like hey you missed the 1003 signature which I know that I did because I'm a Loan Signing System student because it was not a joint application so I wasn't
required to sign it at the top they were not required but like you said just
learn what the escrow wants to do it their way so I went back I got it signed.
When she said 1003 I knew what it meant because of the course so they
expect so when they talk the language they're gonna expect that you know it.
But I will attribute just continued education. You have the course, you have
the group, you have other resources but you have to come up with your own
schedule to understand it and break it down without being overwhelmed and find
a schedule to meet your calls. Taffy said wake up every morning get dressed
take the tips. If you have to write a list of tips and do as many as you
can a day without overwhelming yourself because you have your own personal stuff.
Everybody's journey is gonna be different but the information
the tool is there. You almost got to make your own study guide. It's open book test
so you have to make it your own. But that like it's so much inspiration I can't
really attribute it to one thing. To the support that's in the group people
cheering for you. They see that you're gonna be great even before you see it
because I started coasting in the group just excited that I got my printer, excited
that I got my business cards, excited that I was studying and I came up with a
schedule. I just posted my steps but they were like oh you're gonna kill it and
I'm like oh I might kill it! So they knew before I knew so I'm like and I'm still
having a hard time processing this because like I don't know it's
happening it's happening and it's real so I can't attribute it to one thing.
Well you just dropped fire first off and people know what
to listen for you just dropped some amazing nuggets. But here's what I want you to
start doing and I'm gonna give you a little business coaching in here right
now. You have to start giving yourself more credit. What you're doing
is because of you. As much as I am proud that
I've been a part of your journey with the course but you need to understand
that everybody has the exact same script you have, everybody has the exact same
list of signing services that I provide. What you've done is you took the signing
service list you took the script and you actually made the phone calls. You
actually introduced yourself. You actually talked the talk. You actually
picked up the phone. So start giving yourself more credit
because when you start giving yourself more credit the confidence grows even
bigger. There's a difference between arrogance and confidence. Being confident
makes you understand that yes I'm putting in the work and I'm getting the
results because it's due to my work. So I want to start talking a little bit
better light about yourself because Ashley you're amazing. You are
amazing. The idea that you went from zero six thousand in thirty days is
mind-blowing. I'm so proud of you. But what I hope people are hearing and
you've watched a lot of these interviews, the very common
theme of every single one of these interviews is if you put in the work the
results are going to happen. We have thousands of notary public loan
signing agent students and some are not making $6,000 a month. As much as I'd
like to be on this interview and be like all my students make $6,000 a month it's not
true but the difference is not everybody's calling the signing services
like you're doing. Not everyone's taking the script creating their own script out
of the script that I provide. Not everyone's putting in the effort. So
Ashley you could ship everything like I've been saying everything that's led
up to this all these lessons you learned from previous entrepreneurial endeavors
have led you to this moment. The idea that you took my course and then created
your own chapters and your own modules your own study guides I can't take
credit for that. Your organization is unbelievable and I would argue that's
because of the previous experience of being an entrepreneur. And so what I want you to
hear is no this is because of you. I'm just the vehicle that allowed you to
get there but you're driving it and you put the pedal to the metal and it's
because of you Ashley that you're crushing this. Oh my gosh Mark I want to say
thank you again. But if I can attribute it if I had to because I'm very humble
when it comes to that I'm just used to doing the work. But if I had to attribute to anything I was say and I shared it on our group call for Las Vegas group for
Loan Signing System students is don't take no for an answer. If you're new it's different than
being prepared. You still have to prove yourself so people if they hear you
don't have any signings they maybe they may say no but don't take no. I don't
call and ask. I just want to know who I should be talking to to be listed as a
preferred notary public loan signing agent or listed as available so don't take no. And if
someone tells me no I'm gonna call back and then I just follow up like
I have a whole list before I got any signings that was my full-time job. Wake
up because if they may be on a different coats I'm like the chicks in the group
and I'm calling because you do feel better when you dress like you're
confident and you're ready for business. And they just started saying yes but
don't take no. If they tell you you don't have enough experience, call somebody else
especially if it's a bigger company like Emrock. There's ways around it so don't
take no for an answer. And you don't have to push up you just
have to let them know that you're capable and that you're available. So I
will say that if I had to say anything. When you watch this video you're gonna see with a confidence that you're oozing and you're just dropping fire. You're talking like
you've been in the business for six years not 30 days. So these videos are so awesome to help inspire other notary public loan signing agents. At the end of the day what I
want to inspire other people with is you can come from zero
background, you can learn how to be a notary public loan signing agent, you can learn the business but all it takes is work. The reason you are okay
with the "no's" and I don't want put words in your mouth but this is so inspiring
is the reason most people are okay with the "no's" is because why
they're doing something is more important than hearing the word no. And
your baby girl is your "why" and building this business is your "why" so what I'm
trying to inspire people with is if you put your "why" at the forefront of what
you're doing it doesn't become work anymore. It becomes part of the
journey. I agree 100% definitely and that's very inspiring to put
everything into perspective. That's it. Exactly. Oh my goodness Mark this is amazing. You're amazing you're so amazing I'm so
happy I'm so proud of you. I know your daughter's beaming and
this is just the beginning. So to wrap up this part of the interview I
think that the inspirational part is like look whether you're a Loan Signing
System student or not, Ashley just dropped some what I would say is amazing
inspiration and advice. Don't let "no" stop you. Pick up
the phone, figure out who the important people are to talk to,
and create your own scripts. She gave you a little bit of her script. And
then obviously you're taking the big part of my script and you're making it
part of your talk but the idea that you're actually calling the signing
services If you can inspire some Loan Signing System students
specifically right now like Calvin said he called all
300 people on the list. How many of the signing services have you called?
Mark this is the amazing thing. So I didn't call I
didn't get a chance to call like not nearly three hundred.
Oh this is emotional. I can't even stand because it's blowing my
mind. Like I don't know if I saw it in the course or in the group that you only
need three offices and just get listing with as many signing services. Like
SnapDocs never gave me any notification so I was like I'm not gonna
use energy for that. If I have to use the same energy to call signing
services I'm going to call and I got three meetings from the first that I
called and the signing services Amrock, Solidify, so I'm only it's like
eight people that I call every morning and I was bugging them so much that they
started calling me. So it's only like eight people are companies so that blew
my mind. Like just I don't even know how that happened and I just remember going
into one of the meetings they say yes and this was like early early like never
had a signing early and I had three meetings with title companies never did
a signing. So I remember having my notebook and I had an entire script
while I was waiting on the president to come out I'm looking over it like so
as he walking in the elevator I'm saying the script. I had to use the exact one there was no time to recreate anything. So he was like okay so at that time he didn't have
any signings so he called me back to get a referral. So that day I got a check.
So I can't even, I didn't call a lot. Like you said the ones
I did have a signing for, I was calling them back. Did I meet your standard or
your expectations? I'm available. So it wasn't a lot. Okay so let's get
more inspiring. I'll be honest with you Ashley I didn't know this part of your
journey. So you're actually working directly with title companies in your
first 30 days. Yes I have Amrock. I have only Solidify and Amrok.
Singing Caroline is a tiny service that someone in the group Kristen gave me
because I was like no one's contacted me so I hit them up and
they were like sign up with this one and when he did that so it's
only three signing services and maybe three or four direct Full Republic,
Premiere Title, and I don't even know what's happening. Like that's why
I can't process it. These interviews are amazing because I'm hearing your journey
just like everyone else watching. So this is even more inspiring
because when we kind of did the pre-interview you said you called a
bunch of signing services, I didn't realize within 30 days you're actually
getting direct business. Do you know how many of our students have been a notary public loan signing agent and they haven't even gone direct yet? You went direct within your first 30
days. And I love the story you just told as the president's coming down you have
the script inside your notebook and you're studying the script as
they come up and the president of the title company walks up to you like
incredible. I can't take credit for your tenacity. I want you to never live down how
amazing you are. Your greatness has always been in you. You finally found the
vehicle to let your greatness shine. Let's go! So in the group
they say like you want and you say it too you do want to touch your teeth with
the signing services a little bit but I just wasn't getting anything
until one of the group members Kristen was like call this. So when that
happened I was by the time that the onboarding process was happening with
the local title companies, one of the requirements they wanted to know before
they approve me as their first-ever local notary for in office or mobile
was can she get through a refi? And I had already had a chance to pick up on it
like if I forgot a signature it wasn't because I miss it, it was because
some finance people who worked at the bank were like oh you don't need to. I
got it I got it. So I learned that I can't allow a person if they're in a
financial and I'm doing their signing and they know the document they messed up the worst
versus me taking my time and going through with them so but I fix it before
I sent it off but those are the things that prepared me to go direct with the
local title companies because they wanted to know and they're betting on
you to do a good job. And I did my first one. They sanitized everything because
of the Coronavirus. They were like I'm gonna clean up everything I want you to feel
safe and protected. They gave a good word to the president and now this week she
called me she was like I'm getting signings 3:00 PM Ashley are
you available? So my entire schedule is clear for that one title company. I'm
gonna book everything around her because it's just like they're dedicated and loyal
to me so I'm gonna book everything around them. It's amazing like I don't
even know what's happening. They're like oh I got a check for you. It's just
happening way too quickly. It's happening because you're putting in the work.
You should be an inspiration to the entire family.
You went direct right out of the gate. The thing is there's 2,000 people
who wait for things to happen and people who make things happen.
A lot of people get into this business because oh I can get a text message and
oh I can put my name into Snapdocs and oh I can put my name into Signing Order. Those notary public loan signing agents make $2,000 a month and then they're wishing they could make
six. You said look I need this to work. I need to provide for my family. I need to
provide for my daughter. And you went out and you chose to get meetings with title
companies. You chose to use the script. You chose to call signing services and
the fact that you're already doing direct business within 30 days should be an
inspiration to everybody that effort equals signings. That is what you have
that a lot of other students don't. And so I want to say I'm proud of you and I
don't want to take credit for your greatness. You are amazing I'm so proud
and honored that you chose to take my Loan Signing System course to help you on your journey. But you're destined for greatness. This is just the beginning.
Ashley six grand first 30 days let's go! I would say that getting to the six grand
it didn't feel hard. The only what I felt it was the preparation of it being built putting little systems in to place on
how you're gonna navigate your schedule. Just being on top of it. Overly on
top of it because you're new and there's no room for error if you're
trying to scale at a larger level. So there's no room for mistakes so I was
extra hard on myself. But I was making sure that I was eating properly
making sure I'm getting enough rest but there was nights where I would like wake
up cause it's all in my mind. I'm gonna wake up I'm gonna get these documents dropped off so it's a
lot of hustle. It's very fast paced. But it's not hard. And I know it wasn't like
40-hour workweek it wasn't that. It was just everything in between for the
building phases so when you're new and you're not getting a signing, build as
much as you can. How do you want to do your invoices? Make sure you're doing
that while you're signing up and while things is coming because it's going to
happen so fast and you're gonna have to fit that admin tasks in. So I
can't even say I was extremely exhausted but as the month ends I probably need
a day or two to regroup. But regrouping means I don't have four
signings, maybe it's one and drop docs. But it's very fast-paced but it's not
hard and you're not slave driving for it. It's like Loan Signing System money is easy money
but once you put everything into place. When you look back at this you're smiling ear-to-ear the whole entire time.
I told you it feels like a dream and all I'm saying when everything is happening
when they're responding when everything that you said was going to happen I'm like oh my gosh Mark said this was going to happen. My daughter is like tired of hearing about
Mark's name in the group. Like everything Mark in the group and that's all I care about right now because that's the only people that believe in me and support me no one else matters.
I love it well let's support some other notary public loan signing agents right.
The last part of this interview is always about trying to give advice and
help the next person watching this like how Calvin helped you and Taffy helped you so let's help the next wave of notary public loan signing agents here so I always ask the
same question, what is one piece of advice you'd give any notary public loan signing agent trying to grow and build their business? You have to find your flow and the best
time to find your flow because it's a lot of information and you don't want it
to consume as much take the course, study the diagram, that's the
first thing that you definitely want to do. While you're signing up with the
signing service, while you're doing your research to create your list that you
want to form to make sure that you're putting systems in place that's gonna
help you be effective because when it happens it's going to happen. You don't
want to drop the ball. You want to represent your business as special as
possible by being prepared. So if that being you have to stay up late at night
to prep your documents or studying documents something that you're not 100%
confident in and of course there's always the grouping. You have to know
that you know your document yourself to you. Not anyone else because once you're
confident you can get more direct business, you can get more signing
services, you can call them with confidence because you know that you're gonna deliver. So just find what woks for you and your lifestyle and your circumstances because it's
very fast paced so time management is going to be key. Flexibility is the
biggest thing game changer for me just being able to be flexible. I believe
Calvin talked about that too. My daughter is in college, she lives in student housing
so this is my time the focus and go as hard as I can. But you have to understand
what your power skills are and building around. And there's a few people and a group like if
you inbox me or message me I'm gonna respond because I have to pay for. I
didn't get here on my own and I know you said that I have to take credit but like
this is the kind of person I am. If you do one thing for me I'm forever
indebted to you. What is your schedule?
So now if you're saying that you work your full-time job or a part-
time time when you're calling signing services or the title companies let them
know that you're the best person to go to for after-hours or weekend signings because
for those who can't make it into the office you have to know how to let them
know you're gonna be a value within your circumstances and still be able to
not over complicate your own life because we still have to live at the end
of the day just because I'm flexible you may have a
full-time job there's still a way that you can get your foot in the door and
still make the money that you want to make. So just being flexible organized
that's my sanity because we're gonna have so much anxiety simply by being new
and I believe I don't want to mess her name up Jarkesha I don't want to mess her name
up but she talked about just being nervous how you gotta make sure you're
not never sweat because nervousness is real and it's not because you're not
prepared it's simply because you're new but when you think about that you are
prepared you can take the stage and know that you're gonna win. So that's the
confidence that I had. And I want to sit next to you guys as well. I love
it and I think what I really heard and I think this is again kind of your
entrepreneurial background. So what I heard is
you want to put systems in place right? And so you want to put systems in
for your admin, systems in for your flexibility, your schedule and so I love the idea of
preparing before the storm hits. And a lot of new entrepreneurs just kind of go
with the flow versus being prepared for the flow and that was a really good
piece of advice. I've never really heard that yet in all these episodes and so I
would agree with you by the way. I think too many people in any industry just
kind of go with the flow as opposed to expect the flow so when it hits like
you're actually able to take it all the business. You already know your
systems. You know your admin, you know your invoicing, you know what your
schedule looks like, and so I think creating your systems even before you
start getting busy I think is a phenomenal piece of advice. And again I
kind of attribute that just to your entrepreneurial background because I
also heard that and how you prepared and you're studying right? You made your
own modules and you took the course and turn it into your own way of devouring
it and so you're very system oriented and I think that's really good I love
the piece of advice. Create your systems. Even when
you're not busy you should know what title companies you're hitting. You should know what signing service you want to call. You should have an idea of the script, how
you already made it your own. So I think it's a great piece of advice and so
just to wrap that up create your own little systems whatever systems
work for you. But I hope people watch this back and you're giving nuggets away
that are in the course which I'm okay with. I'm trying to give everybody my mind
paying my blessings for it. So this was great. Okay so let's go into the final
question I ask everybody. And thank you again. Ashley's being kind of to give
part of her Sunday afternoon to us. We're recording this on a Sunday. So thank you
Ash. Just want to make sure everyone recognizes that how full of gratitude I
am. Okay cool so the last question we always ask is there's a lot of people
watching this video right now who are like eh should I be a notary public loan signing agent? They're nervous about this. Nervous about that. The question is what were
you nervous about in the beginning, a whole whopping 30 days ago by the way, what was something you were nervous about in the beginning that 30
days later 50 signings later you're not even nervous about? When
you're first making a call and they're asking you the question "how many
signings have you done?" and when you have to say zero that was the most
heartbreaking part for me. This is great because no one's talked about this right? So a lot of people are nervous okay I've never done this before Ashley.
Someone's gonna ask me how many signings have I done
right? I've never done this before Ashley. So how did you in the
beginning get around that question? And like I do teach you guys in the course
if you use a script that's gonna kind of prove that you are trained because
training can overcome experience but let me talk to you. You're a notary public loan signing agent
who's in the very beginning stages. How did you overcome that question? Exactly
what you just said. I let them know the training that I took and I told them
that I have continued education. I told him the documents that I was
knowledgeable of. Everything that's in the script and I just added that I
have continued education and when they hear continuing education that's the
part they're like okay I'm gonna give you a chance. And for the ones who said no I
just called the phone and call someone else in their company because just don't
take no for an answer. That's one person. And I think my mindset is if they're
telling you no they probably just not having a good day or they're probably
don't feel like doing their job. There's going to be somebody else
at work that actually want to work and give you the answer that I want so I'm
gonna call you and so you remember me and give me the answer that I want.
That's what we teach. Okay but let's talk about something which I think is
really inspiring really interesting is because I try to tell people, people
think I'm trying to sell the course right? And so but when you said
something then I try to talk about personally to everybody is
people if you can tell them that you've taken training they're literally like
okay I'll give you a shot that's literally what you said. Ao are you
confirming to someone out there right now who are like Ashley I've never done
this. No one's gonna hire me because I've never done a signing. Like you're telling
that person right now I've been on the phone with somebody and they understood
I did zero signings. I told them about my training and how much effort I put into
that and they said I'll give you a chance. Is that what you're saying? Yes
that is exactly 100% true. I actually opened my business bank account
at Chase and I asked how like she saw that I'm a new notary and she began
to talk to me about her times and how the process changed because they can no
longer do in-house so that they have to hire mobile notaries and she just talked
about the process of what we call packaging. She didn't know the term
she's like we have to sort through the documents. I'm like oh
yeah we package as well. So you can just tell them like what you
know after you take the course and you study the course and continue to go
through your course and get the support from the group you're going to feel 100%
confident in your knowledge. The next phase will be to prove yourself to you
and the people that you want to work with but they're gonna know that you're
knowledgeable simply by the course. My very first signing that I did
they thought that I had a legal background. They were like did you have a
legal background to get this job? But I didn't. It's just because I overly
prepared. It's all in the course like you will be prepared for whatever comes your
way. I had my first I think it was like a trust and only my
mind this is my first trust inside of a Citibank and all I remember was going
back to the course because the guy asked who is the settler?
Who is the? Oh I'm like what did Mark say because I was like I'm not gonna
ask this Citibank guy this question that I know the answer to because I want
to come back and market to him. So we're not calling him in for this. So I flagged all
my questions about his trust and then as I'm going through getting through
rechecking everything all the answers coming to me and so we filled it
out and the only question that we had to ask the banker was something that had to do with
his figures. How would that money be paid. So I answered a lot of
questions just by going back in my mind I'm like "what would Mark say?" so that
was funny. I think you nailed something on the head and I try to
coach this and I want to speak to someone else who may be nervous about like well how is someone gonna hire me if I've never done signing before? And the answer
is training can take the place of experience. I appreciate your
honesty and I want to be honest too. Some people are not going to take that
as an answer but there are enough people who will that you can grow a business.
No business in America bass ten for ten right? You're gonna get some "no's"
so I want to be honest with people here. Some people are gonna be
like look you have no experience we don't want to use you but there are
people who say look because you're able to communicate with me,
you can make me feel comfortable, you understand the business, I'm willing to
give you a shot. So brand new notary public loan signing agents like yourself are given shots if you're able to communicate the skill set which obviously I teach you and then you
communicate and I think that is an amazing piece of advice to end with. As
far as you used to be nervous about is someone gonna use me if I'm brand new? And now you realize yes they are going to use me if I'm brand new. Six
thousand dollars later! So good I love it. And I think what's really inspiring too is you
took this mantra of I'm gonna go directly to title companies and it's
proof also that a title company will hire a notary public loan signing agent who is brand new never done signings as much as a signing service would.
Let's wrap up with that. Yes I would have definitely agree but I will say
that the Loan Signing System it prepares you for success. So it's not like you're
not being truthful when you go and approach a title company telling them
that you can deliver because you prepared yourself. So there was nothing
in my mind saying that I won't be able to deliver and of course it
tells you make sure that you're prepared because you don't want to drop
a bomb because it's in your local town. Try and get it through but if you're
prepared you're going to win. The system sets you up to win and that's one of the
things that made me choose the system because I understand this was not one of
those things that like honestly I read a review it was like "Mark's system
you can get his YouTube videos" because you share a lot but it's not the
system. Like you get a lot of value but you need the system and I understood
that when you say the word system like I want people to understand what the
Loan Signing System is. It's a business where you don't have to worry about creating a target list or a
script or processes for your business. It's already there like you don't have
to literally do anything but follow the steps. Step by step module by module and
you will succeed. You have to be consistent. You have to do the work it's
not hard work but it is going to require getting up early be persistent and
precarious to do something you've never done. So I will end with that. Thank
you so much Ashley. I think you inspired me. I think you
inspired a whole new subset hopefully someone watches this
video like you watched Calvin's and you watched Taffy's. If I can do it you
can do it. I'm gonna ask one last question. To someone else watching this,
if Ashley can build a business in this industry can anybody build a business in
this industry? Anybody that wants to. I love it and we'll end with that. Ashley thank
you so much. I'm expecting you in the $10k Club. I'm expecting you to be a six-figure notary public loan signing agent and you're gonna be a signing service owner within a
year mark my words with your tenacity with your courage with your confidence I
want to say congratulations on the early success. I know that this is just the
beginning. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Continue to believe in yourself
continue to dream big. If you think normal, normal is all you're ever going to
get. So continue to think big Ashley. I'm proud of you and hopefully I'll meet
you a conference soon enough. Until then have a blast rest of your weekend. Thank you so much Mark! Thank you so much. Alright bye!
