so this video is all about reporting your results to clients and this is such an important part of the whole process if you're doing this for clients or you're doing this for your boss and a company if you're managing ads you need to report really well first thing is i remember when i first started you know dealing with clients and reporting i found it actually super stressful especially if the you know the campaigns didn't go as well as you promised in those sales calls or you promised your boss whatever beforehand and then suddenly you have these results which are not what you are you know making them out they would be this conversation can be really difficult but you need to add data to back you up and you just need to report the data scientifically and explain how this is a slow process and it can you know increase over time and you need to communicate exactly what you're doing i even over communicate on purpose i try to communicate every single week and even do little loom video emails just a quick update this is what we've done this is what we're doing because it just makes clients see and feel that their money is going to good use and trust me they'll stick with you much much longer if you do i've actually lost a client for even though the campaigns are doing really really well i didn't communicate it to them properly and that's why reporting is also really important if they don't know what you're doing if they don't know the results are good you know these guys might not know if you're click for a you know if you're killing the click-through rates but they don't know what benchmark average is and you don't tell them that actually we're double the you know average we're doing super well your your campaigns are you know going through the roof it's amazing if you don't explain that to them they won't know and they'll just you know there'll be a silence between you too and will just leave you eventually and they'll find someone else this happens all the time so reporting is essential so i used to use google data studio um i used to use excel you know um google sheets and then i used to then i moved to google data studio till right now i've been using google data studio google data studio is great but super heavy it's there's a big learning curve so i'm not sure if i would recommend it if someone's just you know getting started reporting they don't know google data studio i don't think it's worth it in fact and there's a few couple different reasons mainly because the connects if you're doing linkedin advertising the connect is really expensive i'm going to show this in a minute but i've started using a new tool called dash this and i'm migrating...
