hello everyone this is downtown bricks and today I'm going to show you how to power up the Hogwarts Express using either the power functions motor or the power it up motor so what I'll do is time stamp both of these and you can find which one you like okay okay let's get into this so first up just to start things off we'll start off with the power it up because they'll be fastest now these two will work both the same except this one you'll just plug into a different area we'll get rid of that for now okay so what you want to do for the powered up one take this off yep you don't need this and don't need this okay all we need is this so what we need to do is get eliminate all the parts that we don't need so take this off so we don't need this entire chassis right here except for this and this right here so just eliminate that Odin okay now we'll start taking this off so put these to the side because we'll need these later now for this part right here the little flap we can just get rid of that because that will be in the way and then one of these we won't need and then everything else we can put to the side except for this because we don't need this either and then everything else right here and then this right here we can get rid of so this is everything you'll need okay now starting up with the powered up functions you'll take your basic training motor and you'll want to put these on either end of it so that way you can still use this connection without having to change everything about it next up take one by four and put that on one in or you can take two 1 by 2's stick them right here right above the little head part here at the decoration I'll go right here now take a 1 by 10 you want to stick that across just like that or you can use two 1 by fours and a 1 by 2 stick it just like that now to cover up this area you'll take a 1 by a 2 by 4 sorry and put that right there and then we'll take your 2 by 2 stick that right above here then take your 1 by 2 okay here that will allow your motor to get past the battery box and when it get split okay so now take your 4 by 6 just stick it right up there and I'll cover up the majority of the area and then this is important I'm sure there's a way to get around it but if you want a better connection use one of these two by sixes with holes in the middle and just stick it right on top just like that now...
