been an absolute blast I guess the first highlight was arrival day I knowing the girls from last summer being able to give every one of them a hug from me in my case for the first time three years ago and I've been lucky enough to have the same kids for three years to seeing them out west it's been amazing and I'm very grateful to have those boys watching my boys grow and just turn into incredible young kids who are competitive supportive and just so kind and generous and that's something I'll never forget my boys are like my best mates at camp like they may only be told years old but we have such a laugh where we're doing activities in the pool we're just chilling in the bunk playing cards I love general Sun with them that's one of my favorite times it's always bedtime like going around and giving everyone a hug good night and then hearing their silly stories from the die is just amazing so I'd say the most the best experiences are the ones that do happen in the bunk but they're kind of hidden from most people so my highlight sort of summer probably seen my kids do things that they're afraid of since they doing things that they said he can't do and yet they we teach them they learn and they do it and they should come bail and you just see them overcome it it's just that's a highlight definitely a highlight um as a coach I've seen the kids improving so much seeing that you have Algonquin girls you can't even catch their scare at the ball and now they're like Marlon can we play five football right now right here can you throw me a ball and that's to me that's the highlight of my life seeing people grow from just the my coaching and seeing them grow from other people's coaching and when they actually are like oh like these works that's the moment I love it's so nice and they realize they're getting better and it's just like that smile in their face when they know they're improving and they're enjoying their summer and you are part of their experience also it's it's just great all right so we're nearly out leaving day now and I know I speak for a lot of staff as well as me like I'm gonna be so sad I cry last leave and they probably cry again this year I'd like to say thank you for the awesome memories guys and I'm going to miss seeing my boys every day the most I'll definitely miss my kids the most definitely the campers that's the main reason I come back every summer is to see the boys I'm gonna miss the kids I'm gonna miss my kids the most I'm gonna miss the kids definitely just they're literally like the little sisters I've never had and I'm gonna miss them so much and I'm trying to think about it but that's probably what I'm gonna miss most the kids I got so close to many of the kids and I'm I'm gonna miss them so much I really I'm [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] the team we've accumulated the most amount of points and the 2018 IHC Olympic Games is the team [Music] [Applause] [Applause] when I think of summer the only thing I think of is camp meeting new people trying new things and going out of your comfort zone and I really think that I see these past eight years have gone above and beyond to show me those things and of course leaving here is going to be an extremely hard thing to do but it's also going to be like an amazing thing because I'm leaving here with a lot of memories and amazing best friends and all these new experience that I would have never done if I hadn't come here yeah camp is just for me a good opportunity to express yourself and be yourself and have fun and that's what I've learned and I think I'm gonna take guy with me whether it's coming back to camp or in life or at a job or in work or something like that building relationships with people is so much easier and so much more fun so I think that's what I'm gonna take away from the camp I've just been part of one like family like growing up here and hasn't been just like a random place that I go to every summer it's been a place that like I brag about to my home friends that I've I've made home like the relationships I have not even with the kids here but with the staff members like it just shows how like this place has left an impact on me and leaving this place and not being able to come back as a camper is one of the saddest things I could ever think about without this camp I would not be able to be who I truly am I get up at the campfire every Friday night and I don't get embarrassed like everybody's looking at me like before that I would never be able to do that before camp I would say water skiing zipline camping caving building fires pitching a tent those are all experiences that only kids who come to camp can get and I've been so fortunate enough to be given this gift camp has given us the chance to make such great friends and be with our friends every second and that's what I'm gonna miss the most those relationships my favorite part about these past nine years have been waking up with my best friends knowing that I'm never alone and just being like in the comfort of basically family that I've grown up with we explored together we laughed together we cried together in the end and I don't know the summer all these summers were just amazing and I don't think I'm gonna be able to forget them I'm an only child so waking up every morning next to my friends who become my brothers and sisters is the greatest feeling and I know after this summer it's gonna be really hard to not do that anymore being a CIT has taught me so much it makes me appreciate camps so much more not only do I love being here with my brothers and sisters but being here at this place is just so beautiful and it's so not you speaking up every morning looking at the leak looking at just everything is just so beautiful I know I'm gonna miss this I know that my friendships and my memory they're gonna last forever but not being here it's just gonna be really hard just are what I'm gonna miss most is just being able to just wake up to them every day and just hug each and every one of them every day it just just being able to be around them like I'm just gonna miss them so much if I had one message for these kids it would be just to keep doing whatever you're doing in just show the world how powerful you are because I know the kind of guys that you are just please to keep up everything you're doing and just show the world how good you I know you can be camp never ceases to amaze me what we accomplished together over seven weeks is truly incredible to all our campers your joy and spirit was infectious I know we have laughed more in these last seven weeks than we will in the 10 months to come ih see campers are truly special people especially this year CITS and i feel honored to have shared our home with you to our incredible staff you are all rock stars I hope this experience was equally as meaningful for you you gave it your all and we will be eternally grateful until next year camp to me means the best fruit Camp has made me a better person Camp is the best place there is no place in the world like this this place is just so much fun this was the best summer of my life this was the best summer of my life the best summer of my life I HC is my home I achieved my home this is my home from home this is my home from home how many are we one camp one community one family
