hello and welcome to Turner time tutorials this video is on how to create or change your email signature on your android samsung galaxy device it's very important to have a good email signature that goes out with any emails that you send from your mobile device so we're going to show you how to change or create a new signature for your email account on your Android device so let's start by tapping the email icon first thing you want to do is send yourself an email that contains only your signature what I've done is I've sent myself an email from Outlook or I have a great business signature and I want to copy it so I'm going to open up that email that contains my signature I'm going to tap and hold somewhere inside the signature and then I'm going to use the drag handles to encompass all of the signature at the top I'm going to tap the copy icon which looks like two pages and you'll see it says copy to clipboard and then in the upper right hand corner I'm going to tap on the three dots for the menu tap Settings tap manage accounts tap the desired account in this case I only have one and then I'm going to tap signature make sure at the top that it's turned on and then you'll see the current signature that came with my android device my samsung galaxy so I'm going to tap edit signature I'm going to erase the contents of the signature that's here and then I'm going to tap and hold inside the space where the signature goes and then tap paste now you can see that there's too many characters for me to have all of that signature so now we're going to have to go back to the original email where we copied the signature from and select less of that signature to be pasted so just repeat the same process until you discover the amount of characters that will be allowed in the signature so you may have to try this a couple times to determine what content will fit in your signature so this time I've just tapped and highlighted a small portion of my signature tap Settings tap manage accounts tap desired account tap signature tap edit signature erase the current contents tap and hold in the blank area tap paste now once you get the information in you can try and by hand add additional information and when you have the signature looking as you'd like then tap Done and we're going to just use the back arrows at the top to go back into email and this time we're going to tap compose and then we're going to show that at the bottom my signature has automatically been entered so it is quite easy to copy and paste an existing signature or to hand type a new signature in to your android device if...
