hello and welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is cassie and my channel is all about teaching you how to sell more things on etsy i have currently sold over half a million dollars of t-shirts on etsy using print on demand and again my goal with this channel is to help you do the same thing in today's video we're going to go over how to sell personalized and custom items on etsy etsy is a well-known place for people to come to get personalized and custom items that you can't easily find at your local walmart or target there's a lot of money to be made in personalization so i'll show you a few different ways that you can use this and then i'll show you how to actually set this up within my print company printfy and how you would actually fulfill these custom orders so the best advice that i can give you is to come up with scalable designs so this is the way that i've really been able to build my etsy business is by coming up with one design template so in this example that i'm showing you here it'd be custom nurse shirts so i'd go ahead and create this cute nurse text here with the five different colors and you can do that just by highlighting each individual color letter and you can select what color you'd like that to be and so that's how you do that within canva and then here i just added another word on top of it that says custom but this could be registered nurse this could be future nurse there's lots of different ways that you could create this design and list you know 40 or 50 different nurse shirts and sweatshirts and mugs for sale with this exact design and then also have a custom listing available so this could say custom nurse or you can actually say custom and then instead of nurse have it say text behind it and so if you do lots of different professions or different types of designs with these two font styles you could then have a custom option where if someone wants a shirt that says something different they'd be able to order this custom shirt from you so we'll go ahead and we'll save this custom design here where it says custom nurse and we'll use this as our example and then you'd go ahead and add it to a mock-up which i've done here so you just add the png over top of a photo that you purchased from etsy very important that you buy gorgeous mock-ups you want to try and find the prettiest ones that you see model mock-ups hanging mock-ups flat lace whatever it is you just want it to be beautiful and show the person how nice this shirt can look on them if they roll up the sleeves and do a little tie...
