This video will show you how to accept your education plan in the system called "Navigate." You'll be begin by going into your Student Menu, here in WebAdvisor. On the lower, right side you'll see a link to the Navigate system. Please be sure that you use Chrome as your browser because Navigate works best there. Click on the Navigate link and then you'll be asked to "Login with your school account." You'll see this sign-in screen that should be familiar to you and you're going to enter in your own VVC user ID and password and sign in. When you enter into the Navigate system there are two parts. The first is called "Explore." It has a "To Do List" and it also has other resources here on the left. So please be sure to look into each of those items and become familiar with Navigate. In the link right at the top that says "Planner," that's where you'll find your Ed Plan. Click on "Planner." If you've recently met with a counselor and the counselor has entered an Ed Plan into Navigate, you will have some notes or some comments from them. And then you will click on "View Plan." Inside the Planner you'll see the "Suggested Changes" that the counselor has recommended for your plan. What you need to do is accept the changes for each semester. So click "Accept All" for each semester and that will put those courses onto your plan. Then you click on "Go to My Plan" and your screen will look like this. On the right you'll see each semester with the courses that have been planned or mapped out for you. And on the left, this is a place where you can search for other courses in case you have changed your mind or want to add more courses to your plan. Remember, it's important to always keep in touch with your counselor when making any course changes to make sure that what you're going to be taking really is on target for your goals. It's also very important that you do accept your plan and put the courses here, into each semester. Because eventually you will be registering from this system. And you want to make sure that it's totally up-to-date and accurate. Thanks so much. Please look at our other videos for help on other tools here at VVC. Take care!
