I feel its going to be Zomato, foodpanda is definitely going to take a big hit once Zomato launches its online order taking platform.Why I say that: Zomato has much more number of App downloads than foodpanda, there are many people (these are mostly non-tech savvy people) who are not much aware about foodpanda, but they all have Zomato in their phones. So once the Zomato starts taking order they liking to try placing the order. Also once people who have both the apps realize that foodpanda is offering no additional benefit over Zomato, they are most likely to uninstall it.I don't agree with the argument made in some of the previous answers that foodpanda has good marketing techniques or they have experience in providing customer service. Yes, Zomato will definitely make initially but foodpanda is making mistakes even 2 years from launch. Zomato has minimized the human intervention from day 1 by allowing a direct communication between the customers and the restaurants through the app, they have made it more like ola/uber kind of model.And foodpanda's marketing has been based on discounts, which is not a good method to retain customers.Also, once the restaurants see that Zomato is able to generate much more orders than foodpanda, the number of orders through foodpanda decline, also I have come across many owners who are fed up of foodpanda because they don't receive timely settlement of the online payments recevied by foodpanda, Zomato is going to lure these owners by offering to take much less commission on each order if they become exclusive with ZomatoBut both of them foodpanda and Zomato are coming up with POS (Point of Sale) systems because of which at-least the restaurants which run their POS will continue to be associated with them. (Moving from one to POS to another is a real pain of restaurants)Whereas, TinyOwl has so long been successful only because of better services, and that is because they have put in their own delivery boys to make sure timely deliveries.
