hi i'm jimmy from content snare when we run ads to our software platform using linkedin lead ads i don't want to have to manually copy those leads over into our crm active campaign every single time it can be a little bit time intensive and when you're manually typing in information it's pretty easy to make mistakes from linkedin you do get the option to download leads as a csv which you could manually import into activecampaign but that also takes time instead all this can be done automatically using zapier if you don't know zapier it's a tool that connects the apps you already use to automatically move information between them so let's set up a quick automation to send leads from linkedin lead ads over to my crm active campaign i'll assume you already have a lead gen form set up and that you have a zapier account already you could build a workflow from scratch or here i am viewing the linkedin lidge and forms page on zapier you can come down here and actually just select the crm you're using or you could search for it here to find some zap templates that you can use so i'm going to click active campaign here and the first example says add linkedin lead gen forms as a new contact inactive campaign and that's exactly what we want and now we just have to finish filling out this template so just connect your linkedin account continue choose the ads account and the form that you want the leads to copy automatically from test the trigger and you'll see an example lead come through if you don't see a response like this you'll just have to go over to linkedin and submit your form as a test and jump back over to zapier and give it another go so you can see we've got a lead in and now we just jump down to add that lead to our crm it's already selected the action to create a contact in activecampaign you could either connect a new account or choose one you've already connected before and then we need to tell zapier where to put all the leads information so if you click in a box here you get all the information that has come from the lead ad so this is the email address inactive campaign let's add the email address here we'll add the first name here we'll add the last name and you can go ahead and put any other information in that has come from the ad maybe we'd like to set the lead source as the ad that they clicked on so we've got our campaign name here when you're done click continue and finally we just need to test bear in mind that when you run this test it will actually create this person in your crm so i'll test and continue so if i go over and refresh my list of...
