acceptance he knows trust law we're talking a lot about traveling right now which is really exciting so um anyway i know that's a that's a side note but i think it's just so important that and this is why i want to make conditional acceptance relatable to everybody because it's not just in this lawful legal sense but it's in the real life things that we do so um even a proposal for marriage would be an offer right so i will accept your offer of marriage you know if we never have children [Laughter] or if you know you're going to support me as a trophy wife the rest of my life at a million dollars a month you know i can put i can say yes but i can put conditions on those things and that's where i think we get lost a lot is failing to recognize that you know a bill or resentment showing up in your mailbox that's an offer it's an offer to pay something with federal reserve notes that's been sent to your home right um and we tend to see these things as mandatory even something for sale so let's say i go to the grocery store and i see apples for sale for three dollars a pound well could i view that as an offer and then go in and conditionally accept the produce manager to buy in in bulk if he reduces the price of those offers or those apples right could that be an example of conditionally accepting the offer of something for sale um it could also be something as serious as uh an insurance denial so let's say you've been on disability and suddenly you get this you know you're denied for whatever reason well you can go back and you conditionally accept their offer to deny your insurance and then when when they're making the offer to you they're making certain claims and so it's our job then to go and rebut those claims and say well you're assuming that my let's say if it's disability right you're assuming that my my disability has changed in some way from the prior approval and you can start knocking out all of these conditions under which you'll accept their offer to discontinue your insurance right and then you would do that and stated their claims versus your claims that you would make your counter claims under oath and they'd have to address them point for point basically claim for claim or counter claim for counter claim under oath so they're yeah in a half a day yeah yeah so i worked with people this summer um and again on another like serious note i guess of of the way that i've worked with conditional acceptance i've so worked with people all summer over the mandatory uh thing going on right with their jobs everybody getting stabbed yeah and i want to be very careful with my language...
