how i started my business [Music] hey everyone i'm jacob godard and i'm the owner of scooter's lawn care my channel helps contractors deliver and clients experience a luxurious everyday life through property transformations today we were talking about how i started my business and the reason that this is such a great message for right now is we are going into 2021 people are wanting to get out there and start and i want to push you to start your business tell you how i did it get you rolling if you like the sounds of that make sure you hit the like button hit subscribe leave a comment let me know you subscribed so i can thank each and every one of you personally and so let's get right into this so starting my business how i did it i went out and i found these today as i was looking through some paperwork here if you can see this this is an original flyer man time flies and this is the proof that you get out there you get some kind of marketing content it doesn't necessarily need to be perfect when you're starting to throw this out of the way but you need to just get out there and do it i walked the streets i knocked on doors i handed out those flyers to everyone i came up with i found someone that could print those off for me print off something simple with my services my name and my number and i started making sure i got out in front of people i can remember how much i walked with boots similar to what i have on now and had blisters on my feet knocked on doors i was scared you know i didn't know what i was doing i felt like i was screwing everything up but i went out there and did it anyway so that's really all it takes to go out in business and get started and that's how i did i got out there i started market marketing offering my services making sure a ton of people could see what we were doing and i just stuck with it that's the the biggest piece is you stick with it you stay consistent and you do what you say you're gonna do it's helped our business grow it's made our business huge i'm at a place in my life in business that i never thought i would be in and i'm so excited to be here and and i take that back i'm wrong i did think i was going to be here that was the goal this is what i wanted and i've got a lot more huge goals that we're going to shoot for moving forward so in 2021 start your business how to do it do it just like i did get out there use some kind of simple marketing i mean obviously the better your marketing is the better your business the quicker your business will grow but don't be afraid of perfection get out there and get started everyone i hope this has pushed you i hope this has motivated you check out these two videos in the end screen and i'll talk to you soon you
