Hey guys thanks for joining me. If you are new here consider subscribing. I want this file format to be in its original state. Although I like to open with the notepad, the file icon is not matching. So let's fix this. Go to Run and search for "regedit". Expand this HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Go to SOFTWARE. Go to Microsoft. Go down to Windows. Select CurrentVersion. Go to Explorer. Open FileExts. FileExts means File Extensions, okay. Now choose your file extension type. Here in my case, I have .css. So choose .css from here. Click on OpenWithList. Then delete all these except default. Delete this - UserChoice. Next, go to your Task Manager. Click on the Details tab. Right click on the explorer and left click on End task. Click on End Process to confirm. Now if your background screen is turning black, please don't be alarmed. It will be restored, okay. Go to File and click on Run new task. Type here the path of the file explorer as shown here. Click OK. We can see here my file icon is restored back to its default icon. That's it. Please like, comment, share and subscribe to the channel Sir Chogyal. Thanks for watching and stay technically sound.
