well and welcome to credit repair with Brandon Weaver how're y'all doin I'm here again doing validation letter question all right so we got a validation letter question from a mr. a Sullivan alright hi Brendan thank you so much for the awesome videos and great advice thank you very much I was hoping you could give me some guidance on a situation in December I received a letter from an attorney representing a collection agency who was looking to collect on a credit card debt a sense of validation letter back to the attorney and today received a response that was basically copies about eighteen months of credit card statements no actual contract of any kind and nothing with my wedding signature I don't believe this is compliant with the FCRA or the Fair Credit that's the Fair Credit Reporting Act or the Fed Debt Collection Practices okay my question is what's my next step thanks in advance for your help all right so these guys alright these collection attorneys if you will they sometimes look more intimidating they sometimes wanna file suit that kind of stuff they'll say you're not pretty legal department 3 the legal department okay 18 months credit card statements is not validation and verification prove it's not a contract it doesn't have your signatures anywhere on it it's it's not it's not it's not it's not compliant at all with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act or the Fair Credit Reporting Act so you want to send in next collection letter out okay have more than one collection validation letter in our beyond committed package so you want to send the next letter off also make sure that you're hammering on the credit bureaus to dispute with them make sure that they are in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act in that they know that you know in this what's interesting is attorneys note too they know they don't have what they need to win if they were to take you to court they know they don't have anything so they're doing a smokescreen they're hoping that you don't know any different but now you know because you subscribed here man all right you're subscribed here you're part of the 6:09 family you've got the e-book you've got the letters you've got everything that you need to do yourself you can even have me and my team do it I have my team and I always send letters to validate collection all the time okay we'll get a letter back something silly like this and we'll send a letter will customize a letter and send it back these guys don't want you to push back on them if it really comes push this push comes to shove you could file a complaint with the fair the Federal Trade Commission the FTC Better Business Bureau the CFPB as a matter of fact miss email here I'll make sure to send that information but you can file complaints because they are not in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and in doing so we also have a book how to sue and win without a lawyer every single violation like this pull down for you you got you see every violation that they are in violation of and the find that you can actually win on that you can collect usually about a thousand dollars per unverified account this seems to be like one account on your Bureau so one on each Bureau thousand bucks each account all right so that's money in your pocket and the courts small claims it's very simple they will even help you fill it out I've had a couple of customers do it and you know what happens often more than not if a representative of a credit bureau shows up they often delete it or a representative collection and she shows up they often delete it because they know they don't have proof what they're doing right now is they're doing stuff that they feel as if they can get away with and I was doing that I was looking up some stuff here earlier and it seems like there's a lot of money to be made in debt collections ok billions six billion one company when my name was collected six billion on debt I'm sure they didn't take everybody to court and get court orders and show documents that it just wouldn't make much sense in that business model so you know they're nothing I'm doing all this stuff they're doing whatever they can to get you to pay so you don't have to pay and watch my video again on why not don't pay debt collectors up here now put a link up here don't pay debt collectors if this video helped you out give me a thumbs up put some comments below about your experience with debt collectors and debt validation letters and if you need to you can shoot me an email and I can also respond to emails and comments in video form for you guys alright if you don't want to go through the hassle and you just want my team to do it the awesome life group comm I appreciate you guys subscribe to the dolphin notifications I'll see you guys on the other side take care
