What do you like best?

I have been with airSlate SignNow since the early stages. When I first signed up for airSlate SignNow it was owned by airSlate SignNow and very new, throughout the years it became CudaSign owned by Barracuda Networks for awhile and now it’s back to its original name. Even though the branding and name changes happened as expected in most cases the platform was always reliable and always worked great! Throughout my time using it the features stayed pretty much the same but just kept getting better and better over time. None of my data was ever lost or moved, the forms just kept getting snappier and snappier, and the application kept getting smarter. Clients never had an issue figuring out how to use it and the whole experience has been amazing!

Send witness default

[Music] so it's time for version 4.1 of nx witness some big updates um the first feature which we're going to go over today is push notifications push notifications is a feature that people have been asking for for a very long time our developers wanted to do it right so that involved you know new features building in the new features to the server application uh the mobile application and then the cloud layer to enable push notifications so let's get into the feature one thing you might have noticed with version 4.1 of nx witness is we've got a new logo it's a w and split in half into blue and white it's got the nx gray behind it a lot of people have asked us why it looks like these um and the answer to that um is in our intro video if you look at it um it's the x which turns into two cameras takes a look around and it's witness we've seen some stuff it's the best way to explain it so brand new um branding we hope you like it so you may have noticed your background change and your desktop icon may have changed to that w so that is the new face of nx witness technology um we also have new branding for our meta platform uh and if you're interested you can go take a look at some of those videos so back to push notifications push notifications um long sought after feature like i said earlier to um use push notifications you need to go to the rules engine right so to get to the rules engine click on hamburg or system administration or right click on the system icon here and go to system administration or do what i do and be lazy and right click on the camera go to camera rolls so it's really just a right click and a left click um and and the camera rules will will filter it um by the specific camera you came from if you want to get rid of that just click that x so we are going to look for um the notification i set up and in the uh rules engine the action is called um send mobile notification um so i've set up a rule here um i set up a soft sugar on all the cameras on the nx3 and our demo system and i'm sending um the alert to there i'm using that so i'm making that soft trigger available to all users uh in the system so that includes the demo user um so you can try this on our demo system yourself and the name of the icon that i set up for the soft trigger or the name of the soft trigger send push notification and then i use the notifications icon which is uh because i'm saying push notification so uh in the action field like i said you want to choose send mobile notification um and i think that instead of sending push notification um our guys we already had a show desktop notification just to make sure you don't get confused we're sending a mobile notification um maybe web later i'm just kidding that's not gonna happen so send mobile notification um and then the interval action here is usually default to one no more than once per minute so you don't get lots of messages from the same event um but i'm going to disable that because we're doing a demo and then when in its default um condition you're going to see it like this where it's going to say send it to who and if you choose all users you'll get this notice down here if you have any users that are now not cloud-based um then they will not get push notifications because you have to have a cloud account and you have to be logged into that cloud found on your index witness mobile application in order to be able to see push notifications and receive push notifications so very important make sure you have logged into your mobile application on your cloud account in order to get push notifications um so in this default role you'll just have this unchecked custom notification here it won't be checked and so i've got actually my mobile app hooked up through samsung dex so you can see what's happening um so let's see what happens if we send the default notification so let me scooch that down let me grab this camera here here's my notification icon i'll go ahead and push that button right and if you look here on my screen i will get a notification uh this is a push notification uh oh that's not what it's supposed to look like let's try that again i did not press apply on the rules did i there you go now i pressed apply so let's try it again send push notification so when i send a default push notification it's just gonna say soft trigger send push notification this is the name and it was sent from a soft trigger and then it had the name of the camera in the text body i'll do it again so you can see it again so um send it soft trigger send push notification advanced ptc hana so this is coming from the advanced pvc hanoi camera so that's the default text right but now let's say i want to customize that text okay i'm a custom notification contest okay this is a push notification i'm just gonna do a description of what's actually happening uh just test nobody freak out sorry if it's late and your sound is still on so that's in case anybody's uh you know got their sound on and our mobile application is told um like our sales guys or somebody our ceo so um so this text is now going to come in the header is the is the highlighted the big text you saw on that push notification and the body is the text below so it's customizable now one thing to note here when i go to custom notification content is i've got add source device name and body and what that does is just like before it's a soft trigger send push notification and then it said ah you know uh advanced ptz hanoi that was the name of the camera if i check this i leave this checked it'll input the name of the camera so if you set up one rule that applies to many cameras and you want to know where that alert is coming from like on a soft trigger then you should maybe add the camera name but since uh i don't really care this is just a test i'm going to remove that so it's a cleaner body and then i press ok and apply and now let's try it again so push notification and then you can see my custom text come in here to my phone any second now um unless i messed up which i may have let me check that rule again send notification interval action instant okay try it again maybe i just didn't push it hard enough there you go this is a push notification just assess nobody freak out sorry if it's late and your sound isn't on so what happens if i get that notification and i and i don't click on it well it'll just be stored in your notifications list right um so let's see i'm not very familiar with samsung dex but i guess i got notifications here somewhere yeah there you go so if i click on that push notification it's going to open up the camera and go to that specific time where i pushed it now um this is within one minute so it didn't bring up that particular camera but here it is up here for an event where you sent a push notification when the user clicks on it as long as they don't click on that notification within one minute it should put pull up the event related video so if they push on it immediately it should launch that camera as well in the mobile app and we can try again here and say see what goes on nobody freaked out so you can see there was a camera a snapshot in there and then it opened up that camera to that particular view which is really foggy and not very clear right now so this is samsung dex that's what push notifications look like remember you have to be a cloud user and you have to be logged in to the cloud on your mobile app in order to receive push notifications from the system but it's customizable and it's there one other thing to note is it's only available in version 20.1 or higher of index witness mobile which has already been pushed to the android play store and the itunes store so you should be able to auto update if you've got the app installed if not you can install the app right now and you'll be on the latest version so not something you have to worry about but only available in version 4.1 um so when you get the update notification from us go ahead and upgrade to 4.1 and enjoy the ability to send customized push notifications thanks guys

What is an electronic and digital signature?

To understand the difference between a signature stamp and electronic signature, let’s consider what electronic signatures and signature stamps are. An electronic signature is a digital analogy to a handwritten signature, while a signature stamp is created using a method called hashing to formulate a unique private and public key. Both are legally binding. However, electronic signatures are much more convenient from an ease-of-use point of view because signature stamps require several keys and a digital certification for each signature (e-stamp) applied.

How can I generate a PDF and make it signable?

You can sign any PDF with airSlate SignNow. Once you import your PDF into airSlate SignNow and can see it on your Dashboard, you can easily edit the file, add fillable fields to it and even eSign it. If needed, you can also add signature fields for other signers (recipients), set signing orders for them, and send the document to them for signing right from your account. They’ll be able to sign right from their emails without creating an account of their own. Simply choose My Signature, click anywhere on the document, click Add New Signature, then type your signature, draw your signature, or upload your signature. Once that’s done, choose Sign and drag and drop the element wherever you want/need it. Follow that process for the rest, but use the Signature Field element instead.

How do I sign a PDF file then email it back?

If the sender has an airSlate SignNow account, then it’ll happen automatically. As soon as you sign a document, an executed copy will be sent to you, the sender, and any other added party. However, if you receive a document in your email, you have a few extra steps to make. Firstly, you need to upload a PDF to your airSlate SignNow account.
