welcome to CQUniversity in this video we will review how to do continued process verification with time warping in seek workbench many pharma companies are using continued process verification or CPV to manufacture their product in this video we will discuss how to use a technique called time warping to make it easier to analyze CPV processes with seek here in the display pane I can see the process data and two campaigns along the top in yellow that ran during the manufacturing steps of a product clicking on the next step in the journal I can see the individual processing steps of the campaign shown as blue capsules within the campaign along the top of the screen within each of these individual processing steps a quality metric was measured to provide a periodic health check of the batch a hallmark of continuous manufacturing I will click on step number 3 to show the quality metric with the individual samples in the bottom of the display pane for ease of visualization I will connect these yield samples as a continuous signal this will allow me to do analysis and comparison between the two campaigns now I can see the orange lines connecting the individual yield samples now the challenge is how to compare these two campaigns with jarring time delays within the signal it is difficult to align the same processing steps in the campaigns with the human eye since I only care about the quality data in this case to do this comparison I will remove the processing data to simplify the view on screen to highlight what this will look like once the analysis is complete when I click on show the yield signals in capsule time I can see how the relative campaigns are shown and they're completely different in terms of time that it took to execute the intermediate steps the batch at the bottom took much longer than that at the top to emphasize this point I can click on the samples icon within the details panel to see how their samples are misaligned this is difficult for a scientist or process engineer to see these batches in relative time and compare them next I will perform a calculation to do time warping on these signals seen at the bottom in green the formula transforms the longer orange signals along the top and normalizes them in time I use an arbitrary amount of time in this case ten minutes between the samples and squeeze them together in those short signals along the bottom in the final step I will examine the short green signals in capsule time the result is a batch overlay that enables the subject matter expert with a visualization to see how these campaigns proceed relative to each other in the details panel I'll highlight the samples to see that the quality metrics are now aligned and can be compared easily at each processing step within the view panel in summary using...
