What are some key elements to increase newsletter sign ups on a landing page?
It’s widely known that a newsletter is not given more importance than any of the services offered online. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Newsletters are considered as a time consuming and less valuable service because it comes as an add on compliment and not a compulsory product. For giving it a slightly varied impression when it pops up on the screen, it has to have a bold heading with more prominent message highlighted.Well to make it more seemless, the CTA button has to be worked on very well that it doesn’t let the potential customer to ditch it. But hapless, one cannot decide on the best design which goes more appealing at the first take. Meticulously, one has to perform a/b testing for creating varied variations of the pages and to see which page succeeds in influencing better conversion.Try out Zarget for getting more convenient a/b testing tool along other needful website optimization features.

What are some of the best technical hacks?
Here are few of my favourite technical hacks:1. If you accidentally close a tab, Ctrl +shift+T opens it.2. If you lost an android phone in your house and it’s on vibration, you can find it by going to Google Play > Android device manager > ‘Ring’3. An iPad charger will charge your iPhone much faster.4. If you want to buy the cheapest airline tickets, use your browser's incognito mode. Prices go up if you visit a site multiple times.5. If you’re at a hotel and run out of charges, the TV usually has USB plugin.6. Putiing your phone on airplane mode will stop ads while playing games.7. The pr...

Gmail in 2015: As a techie person, what is in your Gmail?
As a techie person, What is in your gmail ? There's a lot of stuff in my GMail; I run much of my routine business through it. (My regular Comcast E-mail is mostly used for mailing-list traffic and such, and gets auto-collected by a server at home. My phone is configured to access my GMail and Erbosoft mailboxes.)I do make extensive use of E-mail filters to redirect much of the incoming mail to other categories, and out of the inbox. Quora notifications get redirected, for instance, as do those from LinkedIn, Medium, Goodreads, and YouTube. Most advertising messages from companies I do business with get redirected to the label "...

What are some mind blowing life hacks?
1. Secure your footwear at templesThe quick hack to the problem is to never put your footwear together and if possible, turn one of them upside down. This drastically reduces the chances of your good looking footwear catching a thief’s eye. Thieves normally just pick up the ones that are kept together and look good at first glance before escaping the venue quickly.2. Make moving to a new city easier for yourselfLearn to say “I am learning the language” instead of “Sorry, I don’t know the language” in the language of the city you are moving to. People are always glad to hear that you are willing to make the effort to learn their language!3. Prevent cake from going stale in the fridgeKeeping the cake out in hot weather can spoil it while storing it in the fridge can make it go hard and stale. The solution to this never-ending confusion is this fantastic hack that will ensure the cake stays nice, fresh and soft in the fridge. All it takes are a few slices of bread and some toothpicks to cover the open parts of the cake that aren’t covered by frosting.4. Being nice can help you out of a tight spotBe extra nice to people like security guards, hotel staff, chauffeurs, waiters and valets. They work all day and rarely get a kind word in return. They also have a lot of information about the locality they work in. You’ll be surprised how much they can help in return.5. Keep your essentials safe on the beachA great beach life hack is to clean out an old sunscreen lotion bottle and hide your phone, money and keys in there! Chances are that no one will steal this from you and you can safely keep your stuff in there while you’re in the water.6. For when you doubt your tea cup is cleanIn India, local tea stalls often serve awesome tea. If you have ever visited these busy stalls and been afraid of having tea in a cup that you doubt is clean, this hack is for you. Just turn the cup by 180 degrees, hold it with the left hand and have your tea. Most people are right handed and hold the cup in their right hand thus using just one half of the cup opening. Its not foolproof but being cautious helps when you are not sure!7. Smelly shoes no moreHot weather in India often leads shoes to emit an unpleasant odour. Deodorize your stinky tennis shoes by inserting old tea bags in them. After all, who doesn’t like wearing fresh smelling shoes?8. Stay on the safer sidePretend to talk on your phone when taking an auto/cab late night and casually mention that you are travelling in a cab and going by so-and-so route. An extra step you take on a late night cab ride is taking a picture of its registration number and sending it to a family member or friend.9. Say goodbye to pesky mosquitoesLets face it, mosquitoes are an aggravation. The buzzing, the biting and the itching are enough to send the bravest outdoor lover back into the safety of the house. So if you find yourself in a place plagued with mosquitoes and with no bug repellent on hand, what you can do is ask around for a mentholated pain balm such as Vicks Vaporub. It works like a charm to keep the pesky mosquitoes away.10. Handy in an emergencyTake a photo of a list of all the medications used by the members of your immediate family on your cell phone. It’s handy to have in the case of an emergency or even when you take them to see a new doctor. You can also add other important details, like their allergies and blood types, to the list.11. Get your stuff backIf you often forget about the stuff you have loaned to others and to whom, this hack is for you. When friends borrows a tool or a beloved book, snap a photo of them holding it. Next time you need something and can’t remember who you gave it too, the photo will help you get it back.12. Stop chilli from burning a hole in your taste-budsWhile chillies can bring amazing flavor to Indian foods of all kinds, nobody likes the fiery sensation of a chilli burn. Since capsaicin, the compound which causes the burn, repels water, it is not something you can simply treat with water. Milk, yoghurt and bread are a better and more effective option when it comes to cooling your burning taste buds.Source : googleMake your life easy now. :DThanks for reading!

Is Builderall worth investing for?
We use them at the moment - we’re trying them because they have an amazing number of features but unfortunately, these guys have a LOT of things to iron out.The product is really buggyIt’s not intuitive there is a little bit of the learning curveCustomer support is slow takes me around 24 hours to get a response keep in mind I live in Australia but it takes days to fix a problem (and there are plenty of problems).Last week all of my landing pages went down which meant I spent an entire days’ worth of ad spend sending people to 404 pages. As I write this I still can’t log in the site is still down and my ads have been shut off so every day I’m losing leads.Everything takes forever, if you think you’re going to just bang out a landing page think again, you need to create a landing page, then create a mobile version of that page and they never really look the same.I’ve spent too many hours trying to build landing pages then going back and forth with customer support with issues regarding domains, elements not showing up on the landing pages, the site going down etc. it’s exhaustingDon’t get me wrong these guys are going to be a company worth looking out for but they haven’t got their stuff together. We’re going to move back to our previous software, yes it’s twice the price but we’re happy to pay that just to not have to deal with the frustration of using this platform.

What is the best way to increase conversions on my blog?
The inactivity of your visitors might be the reason of not placing enough calls-to-action on your blog. You know, people sometimes need some extra pushing to do something. You might want to place a sidebar with a sign like "Sharing is caring!", or something compelling. Also, I've seen some pages, who are trying to get more likes by offering something in exchange. For example Tweepi offers an extended page limit if you tweet about their services. In a similar way, you could offer some "gated content," something of value that is only available for those who like, comment or share. Or, another great way would be to launch a contest, name something (a coupon, free study, anything interesting for your audience) as a prize, and you'd be drawing the winner out of the people who shared your stuff. Easy and effective I think :)In order to present these to your audience your might just use the sidebar I offered in the first place, or try the use of exit intent popups, in which case you could target the visitors who are trying to leave your site. Everybody loves free, and they love winning something for free even more, so they might even give their e-mail addresses and sign up to your newsletter. A perfect solution for this would be OptiMonk, which is extremely easy to set up, offers great built in templates and a 14 day free trial period, so you've got basically nothing to lose.Hope I could help here, good luck with converting :)

What tools do sales people want most?
I can only tell my story of the sales people and business owners that I have worked with: we want a limited function CRM. Allow me to define it: Customer Relationship Manager. That means present, past, and future customers. Tracking any "relationships" or contacts those customer have ever had with anyone in my company at any time in the past or scheduled in the future. In other words, if a customer [past, present or future] has an appointment to come in and see our Shipping department manager, I want that fact known to the CRM and therefore, all sales people will access to know about it. Simple right? But not easy. For me, that has meant HighRiseHQ for the past two plus years. But more of my work is marketing than sales. I am really liking pipedrive for managing expectations on the sales side of the house. But too early to tell.

A client did not pay me for software work. What should I do? Can I e-mail his customers and let them know their accountant did t
I think it's more complicated than some of the existing answers and comments suggest. In my experience, a client that's difficult to collect from (i.e. quibbles over cost of services, slow to pay) can still produce a lot of revenue. And generally speaking, less burnt bridges is always better in the fullness of time. Knowing that, shutting off services and removing access to code is a definite burnt bridge. It's an extreme that may definitely be required sometimes, but it should not be the first lever you signNow for. You have so many other non-nuclear levers at your disposal. Depending on the client, the bill may be more than they expected or can literally afford. Perhaps a payment plan is an option in that case, if the work was interesting, you enjoyed other aspects of working with the client, or you have business motives in wanting to continue a relationship (e.g. gives you or your team the experience in a desirable area). Or perhaps they're avoiding payment because they simply think they can get away with it (this is surprisingly common). Actions might include expressing the desire to continue working on the project but that you can't proceed without payment. Most of the time, clients who appeared to be refusing payment were really just disorganized and the folks in charges of accounts payable were not on the same page as the folks in charge of talking to me. Above all else, there's almost always a reason why a client is refusing to pay. At a minimum you owe it to yourself to determine that reason. Even if you're never able to collect and have to turn off services and cut access, you have will the information available to actually learn a lesson and avoid clients like that in the future. Oh and one more tip: I'll assume you had contracts in place in advance of doing the work (if not, then next time you will i'm sure). While those contracts use strongly worded language about the nature of your relationship, none of it really matters unless you're actually willing to engage in legal action against your client. And that is something you should really avoid unless you have a very large contract. Otherwise, the cost of legal services and the emotional stress (never discount the emotional stress of a lawsuit) vastly outweigh the value of the original contract to you or your firm.
