Cydia: What is the alternative of Installous for iOS 5.1.1?
I dont condone pirating applications, which is what Installous was used for primarily, however it is not the only use of these applications as there are some goodwill patrons who are actually trying to test the application on their own device before buying, which is not always an option. This is why Installous and other applications are especially useful for legacy users. With iOS being patched more and more frequently, its a damned good reason to use them so please ignore the "answer" by Teng Vang. Please see below:1. VShare If one website has been around for a while, its Vshare and it has some of the most important features that resemble Installous. Its available for iOS and Android, and they have an Online market which provides all content. 2. AppCakeAppcake is also a longtimer, and has a huge database of content. Non jailbreakers are able to download this one and you may also download in .torrent form if apps prove bigger in size. 3. Panda AppIs still available I believe and its less pretty than the two others mentioned. 4. Zuesmos ($4-14.99)A paid app but it has been called the best Installous alternative there is, reason being is that it allows you to install any unsigned applications. Its simple to use and non jailbreakers may add Cydia source to sign .deb and install. It has an online dashboard which you can use on your web browser if you dont want to look on your phone or you're away from it. $14.99 for Zuesmos which includes iOS certificates and provisioning profile which are needed to install signed applications. $4.99 if you already have Certification. I do believe this is the only app that works for iOS 5, this is why I gave you this one.

How is Bhubaneshwar for non Odia people?
Odia is one of the six classical languages of India.Naveen Babu cannot speak odia, still he is the most popular odia ever. We do not care who you are and where you from. We care about your purpose.First, use this for general navigation in bhubaneswar. It will help u find the localities. it is as simple as this. NH5 divides bhubaneswar into two parts. Old town and Patia (New town). Now, the real answer to your question. The question reminds me of my own ordeal when moving to a new place. I will answer this question presuming you are moving to Bhubaneswar from north or south of India. In addition, I will assume you are moving to Bhubaneswar for a long stay. At least for more than 90 days. I have divided the answer into seven parts. In the first 6 parts I will address the arrival, language prob, stay, food, waether and places to visit. In the last part I have provided a list of utility places (out of own experience) which you need to have an idea when you start living in bhubaneswar. This part is tricky for most of the non-odia people.1.Arrival:You may choose to arrive in Bhubaneswar by train of by flight. Some also take the bus. Bhubaneswar Airport is close to the city centre(Jana patha), less than 3 Km. You can hire a taxi or autorikshaw. The best suggestion is to book OLA or UBER.If you arrive at the train station, also called Master canteen, you need not worry about anything. You are already in the heart of the city. The best option is to walk up straight out of the station and hop into an auto rikhsaw/ or city bus. In bhubaneswar the autorikshaw are shared by co passengers, unlike in many metro cities of India. Here you will not face any problem as the train station and airport has installed sign boards and direction for commuters. Moreover, sign boards in bhubaneswer are prominent and you will not find any problem with the language if you know a little of English. Below are some examples. If you closely check these pictures, you will realize, the road and traffic system in Bhubaneswar is elaborate and well maintained.2.Speaking to Autorikshaw/Taxi/OLA/UBER overall language problem:The common language is Odia here. But you can negotiate with people in hindi/english. I have met a lot of OLA and UBER drivers who speak “ok type” hindi/english. They can take care of the customer requirements and deliver. The Auto drivers are not so versed in hindi/english. They will try their best to make you ride, particularly when it is a competitive situation. I have observed in many Indian cities that auto walas are complacent. This is not the case in Bhubaneswer.Odiya is an indo-aryan language. It has lot of words which are same in sanskrit as well. In my opinion the spoken odiya language is inclined to the northern indian languages but the odia script resembles the southern indian languages. You can find a lot of similarities in couple of days of your stay.Modern odia people staying in bhubaneswar are very humble and down to earth. You will not find any situation or political parties in odisha like MNS in maharastra. Odia people do not believe in such nasty and divisive theories. Although there are stereotypes, it is neglected once you get into the culture. Appreciate the place and the effort odia are making to make it a better place. In short, we welcome our visitors with open arms.Swindelrs in Bhubaneswar: I do accept there are some fraudulent people who just want to get away with your money. Where are not they present? They are everywhere, in every city. As someone who has considerable travelling experiences from last 12 years and across continents, I would suggest you to accept this hard fact. Few Odia autowalas are similar to their counterparts in other cities. Having said that, I propose you a simple practice. Always take auto from a auto stand. The reason is simple. There are two type of autos plying on the roads of bhubaneswar. Registered auto (Stand auto) have fixed rates and route, while unregistered autos (bula auto) do not have any fixed rate and route. Try not to take “bula autos”. Here registration implies registration with a particular auto stand not the RTO registration. Sometimes this habit does want work. But the point here is, you decrease the chances of being cheated by many fold.3. Stay:Bhubaneswar provides a good deal of hotels for a short visit. Here you will have no problem. You can find north/south/odiya cusines in their restaurant menus. If you are renting a place make sure the place has good connection of water electricity and good bathrooms. I find it little difficult when I search for good house. In the old town part4.The Food:Odisha is situated in the middle of India, towards the east. Here you will find the influence of both north indian and south indian food and recipies. We love to eat spicy tamarind type samber as well as we have roti and chapati with rice in our menus. We follow this rule: rice in the lunch, roti in the dinner. So, the common menza also follow this tradition. But you can find roti always in a good restaurant. We are vegetarians who love fish couple of times in a week. Dont be scared when an odiya claims fish to the food which is so far associated with bengalis. A major part of our food are vegetables. Here is a list of most important food preparations:Pakhala; Dalma; santula; dahi baigana; saga bhaja; badhi chura; macha jholathese are complete out of the world food.5.Weather:Weather is pleasant like any other monsoon climate region. Ratha Jatra falls in july of every month. You will find heavy rainfall during monsoon. winter are dry and cool. Through out bhubaneswar you will smell flower. I dont know remember its name. It blooms in winter night. It feels majestic to be outside in winter nights with the blooming flowers.Summer is hot and humid. It is generally advised not to go out a lot during day time. The best part of bhubaneswar is its summer winds. I have not come across any indian major city which has such windy summer evenings. It makes you forget the burnt of the day.6. Visit:Start your visit from Lingaraj Temple. Here is a list of places to visit.Dhauli, deras dam. khandagiri udayagiri, state museum, tribal art museum near crp, science park, botanical garden, IG park, forest park, nandan kanan zoo, rajarani temple, iskon temple… many more temples and places.7.Important Localities:As promised, I will pour down my experience in form of a “where to find” list.Market Building: The place to feel the heartbeat of Bhubaneswar. Its a cheap non brand garment shopping complex with good street food stalls. Its popular among women.Unit 1 market: This is the prime business and trading place for shopkeepers engaged in daily utilities. Unless you visit this place, you have not visited bhubaneswar. Once you get a new place or room, head to this market and you will find all your utilities here. This is the place to make duplicate copy of your keys, fix your pressure cooker, fix your umbrella, to fix your shoes. You never return empty handed form this place. This place also offers you a grand variety of very cheap cloths. For Movies: Keshari, Complex, Maharaja still rule Inox. Inox has improved the competition of these age old cinemas in bhubaneswar. But the good part is they are catching up with the new entrant.s-complexmaharajainoxFor Food: Saheed nagar, and Patia are good for food. In fact the whole of janpath and patia are full of good eateries. KFC pal heights and KFC Janpath. You will find Dominos pizzeria near every locality. Main land china, green chillyz, taste of china, biriyani box, food box, Tv centre mutton. For books: Master canteen has a complex of book store. you can also find book complexes in CRP square as well. If you want to have books for public service exams…you can visit old bus stand near market building. For Electronics: For electronics other than laptops and computers the one stop palce is bapuji nagar. it is the electronic base of bhubaneswar. For Breakfast: Mausi maa square, unit 6, kalpana square are the best places to have a nice road side break fast. For Vegetables and fruits: Unit 1 haata. its just backside of unit 1 market. For Fish: Although there are lot of places scattered around, unit 4 is the best place to find a variety of fish. For Pets: If you have pets you have to visit master canteen. There is a place just close to the entrance of train station where you will find all kinds of pets and their food. its a awesum shopping complex for pet lovers. For Renting a house: Bhubaneswar is primarily a city with heavy real estate sector. You can find places across bhubaneswar to stay. The rule of thumb is if you take a place close to NH5 you will be equidistant to every other place in bhubaneswar. For competitve exam prep: You can stay near the area of acharya vihar, vani vihar, saheed nagar as many of the banking coaching institutes are in these localities. This is because of the proximity to utkal university.Patia: a cluster of engineering colleges and IT companies are here. you will find the new vibe of bhubaneswar here.Saheed nagar: Once a time it had the same hustle and bustle of patia. Now it has converted it self into a place where you can watch good movies, fix your laptop and have a nice haircut. You will find service centres for all top laptop brands here. Lately it has emerged as a place for many hostels for rent. Finally, I thank you on behalf of all Bhubaneswar people on asking this question. It is not important where you come from, it is important where you are headed.

When I sell an old bike or car in India, what are the legal procedures involved?
Note: Well, before writing i want to make a declaration that - the below answer is not mine. I had actually read this on Yahoo Answers a way back and it was written by an advocate. I liked the information immensely and saved it the very moment. I would exactly copy his words with some reformatting.Negotiate the price and settle with the buyer. Get the formats of sale certificate, Form no.29 and 30 from the vendors near the R.T.O. office, in duplicate. Ensure that insurance and emission test certificates are valid. If not, get them renewed. Obtain clearance certificate and no objection certificate from the bank/financier, if any loan had been availed and the vehicle is hypothecated or carries the hire purchase clause in the R.C. Get the sale to proceed by way of crossed account payee demand draft, if the amount exceeds Rs.20000/- and preferably even for a lesser amount. Obtain the copy of the identity proof and address proof of the buyer. Ask the buyer to present the documents to the R.T.O. and get the transfer of motor vehicle completed. Nowadays it is done the same day or the very next day. Take care to avoid week-end sales or in a period dotted with holidays, to ensure quick transfer. Obtain a copy of the RC with transfer endorsement incorporated. You may, if you can, accompany the buyer to the R.T.O. to complete the transaction expeditiously, if so desired. Prepare an acknowledgement for having received the vehicle. Mention in this, the vehicle brand, model, registration number, engine number, chassis number, the mileage recorded, each and every document handed over, the numbers of keys. Get the same signed by the buyer. Handover the vehicle to the buyer. Address a letter to the R.T.O. mentioning the sale Transaction and enclosing a copy of the acknowledgement as in 8 above. Send this by registered post acknowledgement due only (no courier/hand delivery) to the R.T.O. Paste with gum the postal receipt on top of the copy of the letter. Await for acknowledgement for 15 days and if not received, address a letter to the post office as: Inquiry on delivery of registered letter No..........., dated.........., booked at .........post office, addressed to............. You will receive a delivery report in about a month's time. Paste it if possible, on the reverse side of the copy of the letter addressed to R.T.O. or double staple it with gum pasting at the top corner only. If you are in service and as per service conditions, you are required to report to the employer any sale/purchase transactions above a certain limit, do so, in the format prescribed by your employer. If you are not a salaried person, but an income tax assessee and claiming depreciation on the motor vehicle, then report in your income tax return also.File all the documents above duly punched and securely fastened in a flat file superscribing it with motor vehicle number and keep in a safe place. Most of the people in India, simply hand over the papers and vehicles upon receipt of sale proceeds that too by cash, and do not bother to see whether the transfer requirements under the Motor Vehicles Act are complied with. The buyers too are slack. Mostly either or both depend upon agents and touts. In many cases, blank signed forms are given. If the vehicle is not transferred officially and if any offence even most minor like driving while talking on a cell phone, or jumping the signal or yellow line and detected by camera installed or grave offences like transport of contraband or chain-snatching or robbery etc. are committed, the police will contact the owner of the vehicle on record only. The above directions on transfer are applicable even in cases where the vehicle is re-possessed by bank/financier for default of payment of loan installments, or taken over by an insurance company having paid 'total loss' claim. In short, two major points: Report to the R.T.O shall be made immediately after any change of custody of motor vehicle and always by registered post acknowledgement due.No blank signed forms are to be given to anybody. It may appear that the above is cumbersome. In fact it is very simple and won't take more than 1 hour cumulatively. Better to be safe now than be sorry later. A request (from the original author and me as well): Please preserve these instructions and tell as many people as possible in your circle. It would be a service to the society.

What are the signs that show you won't succeed as a programmer?
Here's my 2-penny's worth.Unwillingness to learn on their own: A programmer needs to keep learning and re-learning newer technologies as they come up, and this is a given.Let me cite an incident to illustrate this. I know of a young lad whose father, a friend of mine, was worried since he was unwilling to apply for jobs though he had graduated several months back. When I asked the young chap the reason for this, he said that he wanted to join a startup and was waiting for the right opportunity. I told him that most startups nowadays work with platforms and languages like Python, RoR, JavaScript, and so on and so forth, so had he done any reading in that direction? His reply left me feeling sorry for his father who had already spent a considerable sum of money sending him to Europe for his IT degree: "We did not have any of these languages in our curriculum."Of course, I did not say as much to his father, but then I know that he may turn out to be, at best, an average, 9-5 programmer who would have been better off in a more traditional industry like, say, accounting & finance. (Mind you, I don't mean to run down this profession, which *does* require a high degree of knowledge, skills, and an eye for detail; all I'm saying is that accounting & finance tends not to change as rapidly as the technology industry does.)Learning is a chore: Learning is fun for a programmer! If someone lacks that vital element called excitement while starting to learn something new, this is a clear indicator that they're in the wrong profession. Each time you run into a problem like, say, a compiler- or a runtime-error, you should be motivated enough to turn to Google for help. Finding solutions for problems that you keep running in to during your daily coding job should seem like an adventure. If it's otherwise, we have a problem there. As a corollary, you should have an ability and also be willing to run through long discussion threads and several dozens of lines of code to figure out where you may have gone wrong. An inability to draw out patterns: I once read a well-known computer scientist say that as programmers we are paid to think. Think about this: writing code is just by-the-way, a tool to get the job done. Thinking invariably involves dwelling on a problem, sleeping over it, and then coming up with a solution that fits best. This kind of analytical thinking requires a very good ability to get to the meat of things and understanding the most core issues, and this is what I call being "pattern-oriented."Programmers need to be able to extract patterns from the problem domains for which they potentially want to create software solutions. These problems are typically defined as situational things, but then, a programmer needs to have an uncanny ability to drill down to the problem's most fundamental defining characteristic, and then go on to identify and develop the most appropriate solution for that.Coding to get the job done: A programmer should consider himself no less than an artist, like a painter, for instance. Programming is an art, and the science part merely supports it. and every programmer should take as much pride in their work as, say, a painter would take in their painting. The only thing programmers have to show for their work is code, and great programmers treat their code as works of art, no less!Rarely will you find a good programmer who doesn't have a consistent style, in terms of how their code is formatted. Secondly, during long compilation cycles, a good programmer's code will not throw any warnings like unused variables, and so on. And if there are inevitable situations when such warnings could be thrown, they will use proper constructs and compiler directives to thoughtfully subdue them. Rarely will you find a good programmer being careless about their code.Too conventional: There is no human problem that cannot be solved with code ;) But then, on a more serious note, programmers need to have a knack for innovatively thinking through problems to arrive at their solutions, and many a times, this requires what is popularly known as thinking out-of-the-box.Programmers as a tribe just cannot afford to be conventional in their thinking and understanding of problems. Think about it this way: if the solution were a piece of cake, somebody would already have eaten it by now, and the programmer wouldn't have been needed, anyway.Too conservative: This is a bit difficult to explain since it may seem irrelevant to the question at hand. However, most great programmers whom I know (and I know many of them!) are independent thinkers and mavericks who rarely conform to society's norms. (I am not talking about breaking the law here!) I invariably find them to be sharp thinkers, whose understanding of things always stands out from other folks' worldview.Another aspect of this conservative thingy is that, professionally too, they are mavericks and rarely fit in with "Dad's" view of work ethics. They are more prone to be bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, and their ideas about their work and their profession depart radically from those of others in more conservative professions. Not having a wide range of interests: Great programmers feel a constant need to keep their minds stimulated with different kinds of activities. Their interests range from anything to everything, as long as it catches their fancy. Not interested in reading: This is a BIG problem. There is not a single good to great programmer I know, who is *not* interested in reading. Good programmers invariably tend to have large libraries at home, and are voracious readers, at times devouring books and articles several hours a day.

Einstein said that you cannot solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that created it. What did he mean with it? Ca
What Einstein meant by this was: “Please send me $200,000.”This is not a joke. This is actually what Einstein meant when he wrote this. But to show this, we might have to back up a bit.First, Einstein didn’t say anything about levels of consciousness. The quote, as printed in front of chakras, waterfalls and dreamy photos of clouds is horribly mangled, ripped out of context, and a particular favourite of those pushing bullshit…… but it is possible to find the passage that these paraphrases trace back to. It was written in 1946, a year after the first use of an atomic bomb. Einstein had recently installed himself as the chair of the newly formed Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists, whose members included Hans Bethe, Leo Szilard and Harold Urey, three who did a lot more than Einstein ever did to conceptualise and create the atomic bomb. This group wrote a telegram to a set of wealthy Americans, asking for donations to help their cause — to campaign for peaceful uses of nuclear power, as opposed to its escalating use in weapons. Here’s the text:Our world faces a crisis as yet unperceived by those possessing power to make great decisions for good or evil. The unleashed power of the atom has changed everything save our modes of thinking and we thus drift toward unparalleled catastrophe. We scientists who released this immense power have an overwhelming responsibility in this world life-and-death struggle to harness the atom for the benefit of mankind and not for humanity’s destruction.Bethe, Condon, Szilard, Urey, and the Federation of American Scientists join me in this appeal, and beg you to support our efforts to bring realization to America that mankind’s destiny is being decided today—now—at this moment. We need two hundred thousand dollars at once for a nation-wide campaign to let the people know that a new type of thinking is essential if mankind is to survive and move toward higher levels. This appeal is sent to you only after long consideration of the immense crisis we face. Urgently request you send immediate check to me as chairman, Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists, Princeton, N.J. We ask your help at this fateful moment as a sign that we scientists do not stand alone.(Einstein, 1946, telegram quoted in the New York Times, May 25, 1946, Italics added)So what Einstein meant was “We need to think about the use of atomic energy in a different way if we’re to get through the next few years without killing everyone in a massive nuclear war. Please donate to our campaign to spread this message or we’re all ****ing dead.”One can trace the transformation of this fairly simple language about new types of thinking into talk about “levels of consciousness” via a couple of stages:In 1979, Hamid had it as:The signNow problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.A few decades later Arie de Geus (1997) had:Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them. And now we have “BrainyQuotes”, Huffington Post and similar bullshit-merchants presenting us with dreamy posters and such on which is printed:No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created itIt is inspiring that although these modern writers have latched on to a phrase far removed from what Einstein wrote, his original sense of “Please send me $200,000” still lies at the core of their message.

I want to purchase a 1980 Jawa Yezdi. What paper work is needed to tranfer the vehicle to my name?
.Negotiate the price and settle with the buyer. 2.Get the formats of sale certificate, Form no.29 and 30 from the vendors near the RTO office, in duplicate. 3. Ensure that insurance and emission test certificates are valid. If not, get them renewed. 4. Obtain clearance certificate and no objection certificate from the bank/financier, if any loan had been availed and the vehicle is hypothecated or carries the hire purchase clause in the R.C. 5. Get the sale proceeds by way of crossed account payee demand draft, if the amount exceeds Rs.20000/- and preferably even for a lesser amount. 6.Obtain the copy of the identity proof and address proof of the buyer. 7. Ask the buyer to present the documents to the RTO and get the transfer of motor vehicle completed. Nowadays it is done the same day or the very next day.Take care to avoid week-end sales or in a period dotted with holidays, to ensure quick transfer. Obtain a copy of the RC with transfer endorsement incorporated. You may, if you can, accompany the buyer to the RTO, to complete the transaction expeditiously, if so desired. 8. 9. Address a letter to the RTO, mentioning the sale ransaction and enclosing a copy of the acknowledgement as in 8 above. Send this by registered post acknowledgement due only (no courier/hand delivery) to the RTO. Paste with gum the postal receipt on top of the copy of the letter. Await for acknowledgement for 15 days and if not received, address a letter to the post office as: Enquiry on delivery of registered letter No..........., dated.........., booked at .........post office, addressed to ............. You will receive a delivery report in about a month's time. Paste it if possible, on the reverse side of the copy of the letter addressed to RTO, or double staple it with gum pasting at the top corner only. 10. If you are in service and as per service conditions, you are required to report to the employer any sale/purchase transactions above a certain limit, do so, in the format prescribed by your employer. 11. If you are not a salaried person, but an income tax assessee and claiming depreciation on the motor vehicle, then report in your income tax return also. 12.File (not keep in a folder) all the documents above duly punched and securely fastened in a flat file superscribing it with motor vehicle number and keep in a safe place. I have dealt with exhaustively. If the vehicle is not transferred officially and if any offence even most minor like driving while talking on a cell phone, or jumping the signal or yellow line and detected by camera installed or grave offences like transport of contraband or chain-snatching or robbery etc are committed, the police will contact the owner of the vehicle on record only. The above directions on transfer are applicable even in cases where the vehicle is re-possessed by bank/financier for default of payment of loan instalments, or taken over by an insurance company having paid 'total loss' claim. In short, two major points: (a) report to the RTO shall be made immediately after any change of custody of motor vehicle and always by registered post acknowledgement due ; (b) no blank signed forms are to be given to anybody. It may appear that the above is cumbersome. In fact it is very simple and won't take more than 1 hour cumulatively. Better to be safe now than be sorry later.
