How Can I Print Sign Presentation

hi I'm Chris cannon with heritage printing and graphics today we're going to make some pretty cool signs let's get started today I will be showing you how to create a custom cut contour sign first we'll start with the design the design determines the color and overall shape of each piece once the design is complete it is time to start printing we will be using eco sullivan inks to print on a vinyl rated for the outdoors once the print is completed we roll it up and cut it free from the machine now it's time for lamination carefully feeding the piece through the machine by dust back and forth to remove any debris or lint from the material this will ensure that no dust is caught in between the laminate and the print next we apply the vinyl to a rigid aluminum composite material because the vinyl is thin and flexible it must be adhered to a rigid substrate to add strength and life to the sign using application tape I secure the piece to the substrate this will ensure the piece does not shift in the sticking process next we will transport the piece to the lamination machine stripping the lamination machine free of its laminate we will utilize its rollers to adhere the graphic to the substrate just like before I will remove any dust and debris from the material feeding the substrate through the machine I carefully peel back the wax paper from the adhesive graphic success the graphic is now flawlessly adhered to the substrate now all this left is to cut the final shapes using a CNC cutting machine using a specialized camera the CNC machine will locate a series of four dots placed along the perimeter of the print using these four dots as a reference the CNC machine will be aware of the exact location of each image or sign in this case that will need to be cut out the machine will now move to the general location of the first dot using the computer I then finally tune the cameras location directly above the first stop the CNC machine will then be able to find the remaining three dots on its own with all the dots registered we can now begin cutting this machine is equipped with three different cutting tools we will be using a plunge router to cut out this material the cutting is now complete we use pressurized air to blow away the debris from the signs we will wipe the edges clean and inspect each edge of each sign to ensure there is no imperfections now that's a high quality product made in the United States Oh
