What is e tendering system?
e-tendering system is the process of procuring goods, works or services, by the government organizations or corporations such as NHAI, Indian railways, SAIL, State/Central govt ministries, by releasing their requirement document in the form of e-tender notice and inviting relevant interested parties to bid for the same. As it is e-tendering, the tender is released digitally i.e. on the company website or e-procurement portal etc.To break it down and simplify this further, typically a bidder goes through the below e-tendering process -Sign up on a tender website of your preference, and look for tenders according to your preferred location and industry keywords.(E.g. Delhi and Fabrication)Before bidding develop your response strategy, by going through the tender notice extremely carefully. Note down all the details, and make a checklist for list of supporting documents requiredReview recent awarded contacts and research your buyerWrite a compelling bid response document, based on your above research.Understand the payment terms to make sure you are aware of the payment schedule specified. Government payment schedules will vary from department to department and procurement to procurement. You may not get paid as soon as the job is finished or goods are delivered. If you require payment different to that specified, you should detail this in your offer.Find referees who know your business and can attest for your work past projects of success.Make sure you check your proposal carefully before submitting it.Submit your bid well in time, ensuring you don’t miss the submission deadlineAlways request a debriefing on the tender after the process, especially if your bid is unsuccessful.I hope my answer helped you understand the e-tendering system.

What is it like to intern at Amazon India?
I interned at Amazon India, at chennai as an application engineer intern. It was a 8 months long internship, from September 2017 to may 2018.I had been selected through campus recruitment, after several rounds of interviews. It was an amazing experience! I was working under a research scientist, who had a phd from the Massachusetts Institute of technology. She was very nice to me, teaching me every small details of what it takes to work at big companies. She understood that my college did not equip me with certain skills and taught me things like sending emails and communication. After my internship i had learnt how to approach a particular problem. I had learnt how people look and analyze the problem and look for solutions. I think that is one of the most important thing a fresh college graduate would have to know. I now have a direction on what to do in order to grow in my career. My manager took a lot of interest in my growth and managed me very well. Any time i was struck she would help me solve my problem amd get the work done. She would teach me how she would have done that task and make me think in way i get to the solution. She always assigned me tasks that were manageable for me and saw that i was able to solve the problem. She has spent a lot Time explaining things and answering all my questions. She patiently cleared all my doubts and explained anything i asked her. It was very nice that she spent so much time with me inspute of her busy schedule. One of the most interesting part of the internship is meetings with high profile people at amazon. I was able to attend meetings with AVPs who shared their views and talked about the future of our products. I attended meetings with Mr. Narsi Narasiman one of the first engineers of kindle..Amazon the company itself looks after its employees amd helps them to grow in their careers. All of us have a mentor who would advise us trends in the industry. They would tell us what has to be done, to be able to climb the career ladder. The work timings were lenient and there was wasn't a strict timing. I had to work about 40 hrs a week to achieve my targets. I got to learn a lot of things and my manager always empathized on learning during the internship. She was very helpful in helping me learn and improve. The office had good recreational facilities with table tennis, snooker and fooz ball in the playing area. These are some of the photos of my office.Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I am very glad that i have learnt a lot from the internship. I am very thankful for my manager who guided me through out the internship.Adding this answer for people who want to know how to apply for amazon :Sailesh Morkonda's answer to How can a CSE fourth year student apply for Amazon? And this answer.Sailesh Morkonda's answer to What should you know before your Amazon internship starts?

What strategies would you use to generate leads in the B2B industry?
Lead generation is very vital for any company. Especially if you are in the B2B sector, your B2B lead generation campaigns should be most effective.Being a software company in the B2B sector, providing a software, tool and service aiding lead generation, we thought it would be best to share some of our learning to help you to generate leads from your available sources.B2B lead generation campaigns do take time and consistent effort. They take up your resources and you need to ensure that you are not carried away. If you are concentrating all your resources in generating leads and not converting them, it is of no use.So, what better way to generate leads that have higher chances of conversion than from your website. Your website is home to people or prospects who are interested in what you offer. The sole reason for their visit on your website is that they are interested in you. So why not use this to your advantage by drawing them into your sales funnel. These are the best tips that we give you to generate B2B leads from your website:1. Blogs:The best way in getting the conversation started on your website is by way of blogs. This not only engages your visitors or audience but also helps in page ranking. If you have helpful content on your website, Google will rank your website better. One way to create helpful content is by writing posts that help people understand your industry. Answering questions, posting pictures of your industry or people at work etc, are great ways to start your blogs.Having blogs with well-curated content also helps increase website traffic. Optimise your content so that people can find it. Ask people to share it. The more people engage with your content the better. It also helps in ranking.2. Demos or Free trials:The best way to get your website visitors to engage with your service or product is by offering it for free. Provide a demo sign up form to capture leads from this source. This not only expands your user base but also helps gain trust in your brand. By trying out your product or service for a set time, the user gets accustomed to it. This builds the trust in your brand and the user would want to continue the usage. We at AeroLeads have witnessed this very thing. We ask our customers to sign up for a free trial and based on what value our product and service gives to them, they take a decision. Since the time we started to offer free trials, lead generation and the users have multiplied.3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):What better way to help people find your website than by SEO. This is a way of making your website search engine friendly. Do note that you need to optimise your entire website for the best results and not just a particular page.If you do not spend resources to SEO proof your website then search engines cannot rank your website or categorise your website for relevant keywords to your business. You do require both, on page and off page SEO. Merely copying the same SEO strategy from another website will not suffice. Your SEO strategy is unique to your website. More traffic leads to more B2B lead generation. To sum it up, the more you SEO proof your website, the more customers will know about your company4. Whitepapers, Case Studies, Reports & More:In addition to free trials and demos, you can also provide free whitepapers, case studies and reports for download. This will be of great value to your site visitors. This also increases your website traffic.White papers, case studies and reports provide information valuable information to users. They are very resourceful and you can leverage this for your B2B lead generation. Provide descriptive URLs to your whitepapers, case studies and reports. A descriptive URL helps people understand what they are getting and increases downloads too (and it helps with search to boot). To increase B2B lead generation from these offerings, give each one its own landing page. On the page, you can describe more about the offering and thereby sell your content5. Customer Testimonials:Testimonials are important because they tell your prospects and customers how others think of you. Adding customer testimonials does not only help in lead generation but also helps gain trust. A new visitor or user is your potential customer. He has zero trust in your brand. By having testimonials on your website there is some basic trust that is established.Testimonials are unbiased endorsements that give your product, service, and company a great deal of credibility. They also help lower the risk of doing business with an “unknown” company.6. FAQs:This is the best way to engage your site visitors. People come to your website with questions. “Can this company help me solve my problem?” “Will this product or service be of value to me?” “Who else have done business with this company?”The responsibility lies on your website to answer such questions. Granted, you cannot anticipate all the questions. This is where your opportunity to generate leads comes into play. Have a form that enables the customer to send his or her query to you. Of course, he or she will have to fill in their contact details.ImageSource: EscapeRoomWNY7. Multiple Product/Service Pages:To help with SEO and generating leads, give each product or service you offer its own web page. This give room for better optimisation and also helps you in tracking and analytics.Providing each of your service or product with its own individual page helps you to optimise each page around the product or service and also have more offers more room for you to explain what you do. The mistake a lot of us commit is thinking that the buyer knows what you do. Buyers are not aware till you provide them with insights.ImageSource: DWSurfShop8. Customer Reviews:In addition to FAQs reviews also help answer your customer queries. It is also a source for providing information that prospects need to make buying decisions. You can use surveys, email your best customers to provide reviews and ask them for suggestions as well. A customer review is a great way for you to keep in touch with your customers and know exactly what your market needs. This also helps build the customer relationship.9. Inbound Links:If your aim is to generate more B2B leads from your website or generating leads in general, make it easy for people to find your site. Have a lot of link directing to your website helps people find you easily. This does very well help in ranking your page.An inbound link is a hyperlink from another website to your website. This also increases the link juice. A website has its own power in the eyes of Google. When a website links another website, that power is linked or transferred to the other website. This is link juice. This helps you in ranking better on Google. This has become a key strategy in SEO. Posting on social media, distributing media releases & other PR material, including links in your newsletters, email signatures & all marketing collateral and writing blog posts that people will want to share, all help you in generating multiple inbound links.10. Contact Page:This is a no brainer. But, I have personally come across websites that have unintentionally made it difficult to find their contact page. The very idea of having a contact page is to establish communication. Do not make it difficult for users to find your contact details and contact you.Don’t make your users or customers to hunt or fill forms through web pages to find your contact details. The best strategy would be to put your email ID and your phone number on top of every page of your website. Have your contact details in text format. You do not need any fancy themes or images. A simple text format will do the job most effectively. Do make sure that your contact details are not an image. When a phone number is text based, people can call you using a smartphone simply by tapping the number. Also, do double check your contact details to avoid any mistakes.11. Offers and Promotions:Your prospects or leads are in different phases of the buying cycle. The come to your website for clarity. So, if you want to generate leads, have something to offer to them no matter where they are in their decision making.Offers and promotions act as lures of your website. It will attract a lot more audience to your website. You can provide your site visitors with e-books, demos, e-newsletters, free webinars, offer codes etc depending on your product or service. Once the user has procured and used the offer or promotions and finds it of great value to him, he will come back o your website and also refer different people to your website. This also helps build brand value.12. Opt In Forms:With all the above tips, having opt-in forms alongside them is the best strategy. Opt-in forms or sign up forms are also called as lead capture forms. Such forms are shown to the user before he avails any product, service, demo or downloads from your website to capture his details and contact information. One good practice is to keep your forms short. Do not add lengthy explanations or descriptions to your forms. Provide space for name, email, and phone number. This will suffice for most companies. Also, do make sure that such forms are very easily visible. We would advise you to put a form on every page. Do not have a million pop ups with such forms. This will bring down the user experience and may result in the user never again visiting your site. These are some of our learnings and observations with regards B2B lead generation on your website. We advise you to link all your marketing campaigns back to your site. No marketing content should stand in isolation. Also, do follow up on your leads. If your leads are just piling up in your database, then these tips will not help you.

Why does Indonesia choose Su-35 against other competitors like Rafale, Gripen or Typhoon as Su-35 is still new to Russia?
The selection of the Su-35 Flanker was based on their requirements for a long range, high endurance and persistence air dominance fighter with secondary attack and strike capabilities. The selection process was based on the following:The Indonesian Air Force is currently using various models of the Flanker family, including the Su-27 and Su-30 jets. Buying the Su-35 makes perfect sense and integrate into existing infrastructure. The Indonesians do not need to implement new training programs, buy new support equipment and weapons. They can interchange with current weapons used by the Su-27 and Su-30They wanted a high performance air superiority fighter that can travel distances on internal fuel as well as complement existing Flanker fleets. These jets would need to cover great distance to protect Indonesian Air Space. Currently no western jets is able to surpassed the Su-35 in terms of range and combat persistenceThe Su-35 is a super agile fighter. It uses advance radar, improved cockpit with digital technologies, IRST and could carry a wide range of smart weapons including up to 12 air to air missilesThe Russians has accepted payments in the form of barter trade using commodities such as rubber, palm oil etc. This would help saved much needed hard currencyStrong Russian support. The Indonesian are happy with the jets they have and buying the Su-35 is the confidence the Indonesians have placed on these fighters. Its a boost of confidence for the Russians too.Whatever the commodities sold i am pretty sure the Russians got a very good deal and could re-sell them to third parties for a much higher price. The Americans and the Europeans would prefer hard cold cash for their jets or go into some credit terms and the Indonesians would end up paying something more expensive and also lose their foreign currencies in the long term.Following two years of protracted negotiations, Indonesian Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu confirmed on July 26 that Indonesia will procure 11 Russian-made Su-35S ‘Flanker-E’ multirole fighter jets for the Indonesia Air Force (TNI-AU) with the first aircraft slated for delivery in 2018. “There will be 11 planes. After two years, it was finally finalized,” the minister told reporters last week. The defense minister’s Su-35 statement follows the Indonesian Air Force’s recent announcement of the beginning of the second phase of its 2014-2019 upgrade plan. It remains unclear whether a Su-35 contract has already been signed by Moscow and Jakarta. The minister’s announcement was preceded by media reports that Indonesia and Russia have finally agreed to an offset obligation program including technology transfers in early July. The Su-35 (NATO reporting name: Flanker-E) Fourth++ generation, highly maneuverable multirole fighter jets, powered by two 117S turbofan engines, and equipped with the Irbis-E passive-electronically scanned-array radar capable of tracking up to 30 targets simultaneously and purportedly able to engage up to eight. The Su-35 is the latest variant of Russia’s Flanker-series. The TNI-AU is already operating five Russian-made Su-27s and 11 Su-30 MK/MK2s. The Su-35 will replace U.S.-made F5 E/F Tiger II jet fighter jets, which had been in service with the TNI-AU since the 1980s and were retired over the last years. Source: the diplomat: URL: Confirmed: Indonesia to Buy 11 Su-35 Fighter Jets From RussiaFurthermore their past records about weapons sanctions has hurt them when the Indonesian was involved in the East Timor conflict which halted their use of the F-16s and the British built Hawks.I believe the Russians would be a totally different supplier as they don't really care how the customer uses their weapons as long as cash payment comes in for parts and support to maintain the Russian defence industries. The decision not to select the Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen are based on my opinionIndonesia has built up a fleet of Su-27/30 jet fighters. Buying a western jet will further increase the strain on maintenance and the required overall infrastructure of the jet.Politics could play a crucial role in European decision over human rights and also the banning of palm oil imports into Europe.Initial upfront cost is huge. It could be as expensive at US$3 billion for just 16 jets whereas the Indonesians was offered by the Russian for over US$1.6 billionThe Indonesian was looking at standardisations among its current fleet of FlankersThe Western jets was not able to perform long range missions like those displayed by the Su-35. The Su-35 was both superior in endurance and weapons carrying over the Typhoon, Gripen and RafaleEuropeans would prefer provide loans rather accept barter trade which was one of the key reasons the Russian won the contract. The Indonesians didn't want to add new jets to a growing fleet of many jets…It has already caused enough issues from maintenanceMore countries look at the Russian trades as favourable over paying in hard currencies. Malaysia did so when they bought MIG-29 and partial bater trade was used in that deal. Such barter trade would take a bit more longer to execute but for the Russians its worth it. They look at the long term business with Indonesia knowing that they will get cash payments for parts.Indonesia is very proud and happy about their Su-27. It has meet their requirements for an ultra long range jet to cover the wide areas of the Indonesia. With strong support from Russia and Russia’s acceptance of barter trade was one of the key to winning the deal. With this in mind, Russia expects Indonesia to build up their Flanker force. One other reasons the Flankers are bought is due to the excellent range the Su-35 posse and this is critical for a country like Indonesia where they have over 18000 islands to defend stretching thousands of miles of territory. The need for long range jets is one key requirements. The Typhoon and Rafale would essentially need drop tanks and inflight refuelling to go the distance. Furthermore buying just 11 units could be more expensive per unit than those offered by the Russians with partial barter trade. The Russians wins round one on this. The Su-35 is in service with the Russian Air Force. Its not new. They have been around for several years but entered Russian air force sometime ago. Proven weapons platform, the Indonesian is happy with the current fleet and is expanding on the Su-35 Flankers soon.

Is Suresh Prabhu one of the worst Railway Minister that India ever had since he is not corrupt like his predecessors?
YES .Suresh Prabhu is the worst Railway Minister so far . There is not only one reason behind this . He has brought so many changes to the Indian Railways which we Indians were not habituated of . It was like our long lost habit was snatched away from us.Here are the changes he did to the railways:signNow any part of India in just 12 hoursPrabhu announced four new categories of trains, one for unreserved passengers and three for reserved ones, which will be operational in the next couple of months. He has also announced bullet trains to reduce the travel time of the passengers considerably. Prabhu said his dream is to travel from one part of the country to another in 12 hours. Here's what in storeHumsafar Express: A fully AC train with optional service for mealsTejas: It will showcase the future of train travel in India with operating speeds of 130 kmphUday Express: Overnight double-decker train, which will run on busiest of routes. It will have 40% more passenger capacityAntyodaya Express: A superfast train for those travelling on long routes and will be fully unreservedConnect while you travelHigh-speed WiFi is already in place at key stations. Prabhu has a target of 400 stations by 2018.Choose your foodTrain passengers will soon be able to order burgers and pizzas of their choice on the Indian Railways website and have them delivered right to their coaches. For last-minute purchases, vendor boys will be waiting on platforms with ready-to-serve burgers, pizzas and Indian thalis.Leading quick service restaurants (QSR) such as Domino's Pizza, Burger King, Subway, KFC and Pizza Hut are opening up stores at railway stations.Passengers will also soon get to decide if they want to eat railway food, and not pay for it. They will have the option to drop meals while booking tickets in Rajdhanis and Shatabdis. You are coveredRailways launched a scheme allowing a person to get an insurance cover of up to Rs 10 lakh on booking a train ticket online by paying less than one rupee. A person booking a train ticket through the IRCTC website will be able to opt for travel insurance cover for a premium of 92 paise only . (now it's totally free) For the executivesPrabhu is bringing the airport experience to railway stations with new 'executive lounges'. IRCTC will be setting up these lounges at 49 locations, which will have facilities such as Wifi, buffet services, wash and change, concierge services for pre-departure and post-arrival assistance to passengers of all classes of travel.Book a retiring roomSuresh Prabhu has announced that passengers can now book retiring rooms on an hourly basis instead of the usual 12 or 24-hour slots. This facility will permit passengers to book retiring rooms for a minimum of three hours and a maximum of 48 hours.Increased number of coachesYou don't have to fret over limited Rajdhani, Shatabdi seats. The Railways have increased the number of coaches in these trains so that more people can be accomodated.Go mobileMobile tickets are valid for all trains now. Not just that, online booking services will now be available in several regional languages as well. Automatic ticket vending machines have also been installed.BedrollsMost of us have struggled for bedrolls while travelling, a facility which was earlier available only for those travelling in AC compartments. Now the bedroll kit scheme has been extended to all ticket-holders.The bedroll kit can booked online through IRCTC website. After booking a ticket from the website, traveller can book for bedrolls also. The bedrolls would be delivered to the passenger at his/her berth. Alternatively, passengers can pick up the kits at the IRCTC counter half-an-hour before the train's departure by showing the ticket.Clean my coachPassengers will be able to demand cleaning of a toilet via SMS. The audit will be done by third party and action to be taken based on passenger feedbackNever miss your stopYou need no longer be afraid of missing the station of your destination because you overslept. There will be a wake-up call facility on many trains.Don't like something? Tweet itA responsive 24x7 complaint resolution mechanism employed through the use of social media is up and running. Tweet a problem or complaint and you shall get a prompt reply from the Indian railways. If all the above changes harass you or make you feel uncomfortable while travelling in Railways or if you have any problem with these changes , then he surely is the worst one.For me , he is the best till dateSource : 12 reasons why 59% of India thinks Suresh Prabhu is doing a good job with Railways[1]Footnotes[1] https://www.google.co.in/amp/m.e...
