[Music] hello guys welcome back to official brett woodard and in this video i'm going to give you guys a third stimulus update so recently we know that senator ron johnson wanted the clerk to read the whole bill which would take about 10 hours to do it took more than 10 hours close to around 12 hours and once she did finish reading that what happened was one of these senators i'm not exactly sure who but they asked that the debate process that is usually 20 hours in the senate actually be reduced down to three hours and no one objected it i'm not sure if senators were not in there if there was um if they were exhausted they weren't sure what was going on but that that took away 17 hours and that cut it short 17 hours so 20 hour debate just turned into three and what is going on today is they're finishing the debate they're gonna start the vetorama process the vodarama process like we've seen previously could last until the middle of the night and by that i mean you know 2 3 4 a.m and then they could hold a vote on it and this is how i see it going they have uh they have a couple amendments but like schumer stated he's not gonna let too many come on the floor where it's gonna delay any further so what we're expecting to see is a vote in the senate tonight around three four a.m sometime around the same time the last vote-a-rama happened when they held a vote so around 3-4 a.m and what's going to happen after that is it's going to go to this to the house and the house is going to be able to pass it what we've heard recently from the majority leader steny hoyer in the house he has stated that they know what the senate is working on they know the amendments that are being offered they know the negotiations between the senate democrats and they know what to expect when they received the bill back from the senate so what he said was also like basically we're going to get this passed we know that there's not too many changes that we're going to have to take a long process to pass it we could actually pass it within the same day so what is going to happen in my opinion the house the senate is going to pass this bill tonight around 3 4 a.m it's gonna go back to the house saturday morning around 10 10 a.m 12 a.m whatever time they come back i definitely see them taking that back and holding a vote on it they will pass it the same day because it's not going to be a long process if they do have to uh you know review it or debate on it it'll take part probably an hour to two hours to do that and then they can hold a vote on it anyways so it's going to pass in the house the senate i can basically guarantee you guys that it's going to pass in the senate because like i said the senate democrats have been negotiating with each other to be able to have everybody on board and we recently saw that when they all voted in favor of the bill to be put on the floor for debate and all of this voterama stuff so once those amendments are cleared out once those amendments are put in the bill everything is all set tonight we should see a vote in the senate and every senate democrat should be on board with this bill then it's going to go to the house saturday the saturday will vote on it saturday after that house will vote on a saturday pass it and biden can sign this bill into law monday and what that means is the stimulus checks when would they be coming well you know previously it was one week one week direct deposits were sent out now what we've heard recently from the irs i stated this in my video a couple while back uh yeah i said i said in a few videos ago but what they have stated is once this bill is signed into law by buying they could actually start sending these stimulus checks out within two to three business days so you can actually possibly see this stimulus check in your bank account the same week biden signs it that thursday that friday afternoon that friday morning which would be you know a lot faster than recent recent stimulus checks being deposited but that is actually what is being said from the irs so that is really really really exciting news really great news we we're like literally a week from people receiving it in their bank accounts on top of their tax refunds it should be it should be a good deal for everybody and as far as the um child tax credits that's going to start july 1st that is in this bill it is going to start july 1st so on top of the tax refund on top of the stimulus checks people are actually going to be with children are actually going to be able to receive those payments which is the child tax credit early it's an advance it starts in july it is for the 2021 tax season but you're getting those six months starting in july each month until december and then once the new tax season comes once 21 2021 comes you're gonna get all that as a lump sum the rate the remainder of that uh 12 months for the child tax credit as a lump sum in your 2021 tax return so it's not going to be phased out monthly um when that comes it's just going to be a lump sum on your tax refund just like you know just like this tax refund was if you had if you had children but like always stay positive stay optimistic i hope this uh makes it clear for some of you to understand i know i most of the time i just post those videos in the senate and that's basically like the main course i like to bring in the appetizers appetizers meaning like the articles all the information from outside sources inside sources and give you guys that and then show you the main thing what is going on with the package
