I think 2018 was just a very active year. Financially we had a great year. Grew loans, grew deposits, in particular consumer loans were up, commercial loans were up and consumer deposits were up, commercial deposits were up. Expense management was yet another good year so good financial year. Very active down the strategic front, opening of Pearlridge branch, and renovated Princeville branch. Beautiful new renovation of Princeville, really proud of that. A lot of work right here in the tower. Really worked straight through 2018 to get the tower completely renovated. What you see right here is where our teams will be helping to push forward our strategic activities for the organization. How our customers use us is changing dramatically. A lot of that is down the digital front, but still a lot down our traditional physical platforms and we've got to be prepared to deliver exceptional services across the entire continuum. We've got to be looking down the path for the next five plus years and that's a lot of strategic work that is happening in the background, while still getting things done. We joke about it in the organization as you know, driving the car down the freeway, while changing the tires at the same time and that's very much the way it is. It's not unique to Bank of Hawaii it's just what is happening in the industry. That takes training, that takes resources. This year I think the number was 40,000 hours spent training within our organization and frankly I think we're just kind of touching the starting edge of that and we're going to do more of that. Job skills are going to be different five years out and we have responsibility to our teammates with responsibility to our customers and to our organization. Obviously to make sure that we've got the skill sets resident in our people. So they can be at the top of the game like they are today. What drives Bank of Hawaii is our 2,100 employees. So we're a financial services company where service is business. Our product is our people and there's nothing i'm more proud of than the 2,100 teammates that I have in our organization and a lot of things happen in our market places, whether it was Hurricane Lane, or Typhoon Yutu in the west or volcanic activity of east Hawaii. Even you know some of the federal activity that was happening late in the year and our people really responded and they respond with empathy and compassion and great thoughts and effort and taking care of our customers and our communities. Yeah I'm excited to be part of a 121 year old company that's been an important organization in this market. You know that's an awesome responsibility and I think that each of our teammates take that responsibility seriously and we know that a lot to do to continue that path for another 121 years and I think that's what brings me to work every day. I think that's what brings the majority of our 2,100 folks who work here to work every day, creating a better Bank of Hawaii for a better Hawaii each and every day.
