what's up welcome back to another video thank you for watching please like And subscribe if you haven't already I'm gonna keep this video short and sweet just like always so today's topic is going to be is buying a car wash right for you so when I first bought the car wash I closed on a Friday and I went there Saturday morning I got the keys I drove straight there was all excited I walked in the mechanical room and I just looked around and I was like oh my gosh what have I done because like all the equipment I was just like oh my God like what is all this stuff so um immediately what I did was I called my car wash mechanic and I said hey I'm gonna pay you you know whatever just come out here to my car wash give me one hour with you and just kind of give me a rundown of what everything is and what it does so he did and then I had a basic understanding of how everything did like this is connected to this and this makes this do this and this makes this do that all these different things so I got a kind of a company with everything and I really do like 90 of the stuff at my car wash I can figure out if I can't figure out something I can't understand what's wrong with it what's going on I'll just call my car wash mechanic or I'll have him come out so I mean the main things with owning a car wash is you have to be hard working you have to have patience and you can't be afraid to get dirty I mean car washes are dirty and like every time almost every time I go to the car wash and I come home either my hands are covered in dirt my jeans are covered in dirt some things usually gotten dirty between the time I leave my house and I go to the car wash and I come back plus I take the trash out almost every day so you know you can always hire someone if you didn't specifically like to get dirty yourself but that's really part of it if you're not looking to hire someone or if your car wash doesn't make enough money to hire someone so that's how you know you deal with that but also patience um because like for example I have been able to I was looking just yesterday I was looking at um my June of 2022's income versus my June 2021's income and I was like wow like 2021 versus 2022 I was able to double what I was making so you know I improved thing around improved things around the car wash um I made things run more efficiently uh just more smooth in general and I kept the place super super clean which that's really key you know when you own a car wash you've got to keep your business picked up you got to keep it looking nice so it took a long time you know almost a year for the clientele to really warm up to that and now I've doubled what I'm making plus I've done some back-end advertising and stuff like that I've got a presence on Google I've got a presence on Facebook now so that all collectively helps and you've definitely got to be a hard worker as well um but you know I'm at my car wash 30 minutes a day and Car Wash truly is passive income no matter how much these 40 50 year old men feel like they need to sit on YouTube and argue with me at the end of the day the definition of passive income is income that requires little to no effort to maintain that's what a car wash is I haven't even been to my car wash today it's like 3 P.M right now I haven't even been there it's been making me money all day I've been out doing real estate stuff now I'm shooting some content for my tech talk for my YouTube channel and I'm making money right now and I'm not going to go to my car wash until like seven o'clock tonight I'll be there till like 7 30 and then I'm leaving that is passive income so these people saying that it's not passive income they're either sitting in a lawn chair at their car wash all day waiting for people to come in counting their money or something or they just don't understand what passive income really is because it truly is passive income so you can 110 do this if you've got like a part-time or even a full-time job um you know if you're working 80 plus hours a week that might be a little bit challenging uh but as long as you have you know 30 minutes maybe an hour when you're first starting out um to a lot to that every evening if you get off work at five and you go to your car wash between eight and nine PM or 7 30 to 8 30 p.m maybe less once you get the hang of everything then you're golden you're good you're not even spending that much time there I mean you're making passive income so don't be worried about you know is this right for me um is this going to take up on my weekends is this going to take up all my evenings it's really not like when I first bought my car wash I was down there for about a month when I first bought it every single night just like fixing things trying to make it better but that was the first month after I got everything running more efficiently everything under control I kind of figured out what I was doing got more confidence got into a routine I was good to go after that it's just like any other job you know you start a new job they train you by the end of the month you're doing stuff like you've been there for three or four years so don't be afraid of that just just don't be afraid to get dirty have patience and be able to work hard so um that's pretty much it if you want to see step by step how I bought a car wash at 22 years old A to Z
