It's been reported, that the PDF will be locked at (it won't be when the book is printed) but in theory, if a book is downloaded from a server (and there will be) the file sizes should be the same. It's possible the servers are trying to force the PDF to be large or that publishers are not putting the file sizes up high enough on their server to make it take longer for the page to download. (This could be a problem with the new system, but I will check the logs on other servers to see what the actual file sizes are.) If there was any other way you could have the PDF in your possession, would you do it? If not, can I get a refund for the download? It depends which PDF you have.
