my name is daniel and today i'm going to show you how to create a shipping plan via template and this is very useful for whenever you need to send in a mass amount of skus um so today i need to send in 340 skus and that's quite a bit i don't want to do that manually by clicking them so what you're going to do is come over to your inventory and go to manage fba shipments all right once you're here up here in this section here you're going to want to click on upload shipping plan file and then under create shipment you want to download the template um so i've downloaded the template open that up in excel and this has good instructions uh go ahead and read through that if you want but basically all you're going to want to do is come over to create plan example and you're going to want to put in your plan name address this so this would be your ship from address i'm going to enter all your skus that you want to ship in so here this is the example tab if you come over here this is all the skus that i am wanting to ship in and then if you do know your case uh your case quantity so for for example if you for this ski right here you know that there's two units per case and there's gonna be two cases and then the total quantity if you know that you can enter that but for this shipment i'm doing um a mingled shipment so there's gonna be multiple skus in one case um so i'm not gonna fill this out but if you have one sku per case then go ahead and fill this out it's going to make things a lot quicker so go ahead and save this and whenever you save this make sure you save it as a text file a tab delimited text file and you're going to want to upload it over here under the shipping plan so just gonna choose file and let's see so this was right here so we have this text file we're gonna upload so go ahead and open that and upload it and then click upload you can see under here i've already uploaded a few this is where they'll show up so once that's completed if you do have errors it'll tell you so this one has none this one down here had an error but you can view the processing report and see what is wrong with it and make the correction on the template but once you have this uploaded to view it just come over to your manage fba shipments and then click on shipping plans and it will be right here under your shipping plans and you can continue to work on it so go ahead and click that and when we look at this we're going to see all the skus that we put on and the quantity that we want to ship in so this save will save you a lot of time if you're shipping in a bulk of skus on the need to enter the quantity you can just do it through a flat file and then you just go through the regular process and repair products label products review and then your shipping and your case dimensions as you would found a regular shipping plan but that is how you upload via a flat file or a template and this is very helpful whenever you're going to ship in a massive skus that is it but if you would like more coaching you can come to our website at myamazonguy.com and book a coach and call it us thanks
