hi this is kevin with naples lawn service and today i want to talk to you about some really cool free software that you can use in your lawn business or bush hog business or attract your business or something something like that so today i'm going to talk to you about uh some free software it's called yard book and you can get it right over the internet it's a great way to organize your customer list your job schedule and all sorts of stuff if you go to support.yardbook.com you can learn about it but i'll just tell you and tell you a little bit one thing he's going to do is give you your customer list and you can add those really easily so you have your customers name address and phone number then whether you're not they're not your customer boy anymore you just trash them out or you can edit them okay so there's your customer list uh next thing is your job list okay you can go by day week month i don't have any today but click on month okay it's going to show you all your jobs that you have for the month and then after that you just go ahead and you can click on done and now you'll know that that job's done for the day okay and then also you can put your estimates in here in case your customer calls back uh invoices if you want to invoice we don't invoice we just bill them uh and then it's got chemical how to figure out how many chemicals you need if you want to use chemicals we don't use that you could have your equipment records on here for your trucks and tractors or whatever there's a site map thing on here that just takes you to all your different pages okay and then there's a dashboard and uh it'll tell you how many new customers you got or new estimates or payments received or not received it's just really neat uh you can also bill your customers through a credit card machine right through this program if you want to you want to do that but we don't we don't do that we have a different credit card processor but you have the option there but uh it's just it's just really neat you can just go on there every day and see what jobs you have if they're repetitive jobs like you do them every two weeks you can set them up for uh this customer for every two weeks on tuesday or every week on a monday or once a month or and then your calendar will be built for you this is very easy i learned about this from a different youtube customer and it's just very easy to operate it's free doesn't cost you anything and like i said in one of my other videos if you want to be successful in business you got to be organized you can't just be fly by your seat your pants so this will help you be really organized and if you want to grow yourself big you're definitely going to be need to be organized so uh this yard book is is just wonderful we've used this for the last three or four years there's no fee your data is secure they show you how to sign up right here and answer all all of your questions and they're basically make their money through ads they put some ads on there like google would or whatever and that's how they make their money so they don't have to charge you but uh for managing a business especially a long business or something like that or maybe a water softener business or you go around you do chlorines for the pools for a pool business or anything like that service related where you're repetitively going back out uh it's just really good program and you should check it out so that's our episode for today yard book it's a really great free program anybody can download off the internet if you like this video please like us and if you want to subscribe we're going to have a lot more videos coming out like this and all kinds of videos thanks
