What are the best productivity tools on the web?
What does productivity mean to you? We’re all expert procrastinators whether we like to admit it or not, the digital age has created an abundance of distractions that can keep you from focusing on important things, all day long if it comes down to it. Even the subject of productivity tools comes down to a single factor — it’s all designed for mental discipline training, because even though these tools exist and they’re useful to be more disciplined at your work, they’ll only be as good as the user himself. For: All-In-One OrganizationProofHubProofHub lets you stay in ultimate control of your projects, remote teams and clients even when you are on the go. Aside from giving team member the ability to manage and collaborate projects in real-time, the other big reason for choosing ProofHub is its super simple and brings everything under one roof. ProofHub is as simple as you want it to be (clean UI, to-do lists, project planning, group chat, review deign files, project reporting), but also as advanced as they sometimes need it to be (assign custom roles, white labeling. multilingual, time tracking, private tasks, complex multi-milestone projects, large remote team, n number of tasks). For: Social Media MastermindsBufferBuffer makes it extraordinarily easy to share web articles via social media without headache and hassle. Simply log into Buffer, connect social media accounts, and schedule specific content sharing times. When you’re out and about surfing the web and see an article you know your followers will love, hit the Buffer bookmarklet button and Buffer will throw that article into your queue, which it will then share at one of your designated share times.Buffer helps promote great content across the web and helps you store and share content so you don’t cram articles down the throats of your followers all at once.IFTTTIFTTT, standing for If This Then That, lets you craft “recipes” that allow for various apps and services to connect and work together. For example, I can create an IFTTT recipe that automatically uploads my Instagram photos to my Google Drive account. Create awesome integration with zero programming experience! If you can think it, you can IFTTT it.IFTTT can be utilized in endless combinations, and not just with regards to social media. However, social media users will find this an essential tool in their social shed. For: CopywritingODesk / ELanceSometimes the best man for the job is someone who is not you. Heck, probably pretty often the best man for the job isn’t you. Maybe because you aren’t even a man; maybe you’re a carrot. Who knows? If you need to get going with blogging content (and trust me, you do, because everyone does), then ODesk and ELance are decent places to start. These sites are free to sign up with, then you provide them with 10% of each payment per project. Alternatively, scour LinkedIn for freelancers. Usually you can get a decent assessment of a freelancer’s skill level by checking out their profile and doing a little digging. Whichever path you take, just remember that copy can’t be done single-handedly, so don’t be afraid to hire out some help.HemingwayBack when I was compiling a list of the best content marketing tools, one WordStream commenter (thanks Nicole!) made a suggestion of trying out Hemingway – it’s a great little tool that checks your grammar and highlights potential sentence danger zones as you write. Give it a type! For: News & Blog JunkiesPodkickerIf you’re a podcast addict, you’ll want a podcast app to help you organize your subscriptions. I’ve been using Podkicker for years and really enjoy its simple, easy-to-use interface. It’s free, but you can also update to Podkicker Pro (to get rid of ads) for $2.PocketPocket is a sweet little app that lets you save awesome content (articles, images, videos, etc.) to check out later.Picture this: you’re surfing around researching and see a fun article about the all-time best Pokemon (Arcanine, duh). Hit the Pocket button in your bookmark toolbar and the article will go straight to your Pocket. Pocket syncs across devices so you that later on you can read those fun articles and watch YouTube videos of mini pot-bellied pigs during the train ride home.

What are the best productivity tools?
My TOP list is as follows:1. Communication tool - SlackOur team has been successfully using Skype for quite a while, and this is a way out for some teams, both small and bigger ones, but Slack is more convenient to use for IT teams, for marketers, sales people, and other industry-specific teams.2. Time tracking tool - ClockifyI like Clockify – it’s very simple, you create a task, you start tracking your time, you stop when you’re done, AND you can also check how much time you spent weekly on each working task.3. To do list – Trello boardsThe next tool I LOVE is Trello. This is a perfect one for outlining your day to day tasks, your future tasks, mapping out your ideas, sharing them with your team members, and so on.4. G Suite. No comments - couldn’t do without it.5. CalendlyIF you have a large number of meetings daily.6. Project management toolThroughout my years in IT I have met and used different PM tools, like Jira, YouTrack, Asana, and TeamGantt. And I must say that each one is good for its own purpose – so you simply choose the one that work best for you.7. Reporting tool - ExcelI have not used any specific reporting tool: I use Excel tables, both on Google drive and offline Excel files.8. What can I learn in one minute that will be useful for the rest of my life?
* Sometimes, girls don't need advice, they just want someone to listen. * Don't be the guy who tells a kid that Santa Claus doesn't exist. * Grammar is sexy. * ***If you owe a friend money, pay them back before you start spending on yourself. * *Never trust someone who always takes forever to text you back, but is always texting "someone" when you're around them. * At least once in your life, have a job that you don't do for the money. * If you want your kids to trust you with anything, don't overreact when they do tell you. * The handsome, royal gentleman/the gorgeous, intelligent woman that you want to find so hard, won't be in the nightclubs. * Take her somewhere different. Movies and dinners are played out. She wants to tell her friends great stories. (Thank you, ladies.) * **Now that you've decide where to take her on a date, don't kill it by giving her roses. Give her an orchid. Girls love orchids. * **Girls, if a boy asks you out or proposes to you, and you're not interested in him, tell him nicely. Don't create a scene out of it. * *Choose any day and treat it like a Valentine's Day. Just ask her out ... before someone else does. * **If you can't make her your wife, don't make her a mother. Remember Jon Snow from GOT? * **You can't be old and wise if you were never young and crazy. Live your life. * **Being in a beautiful relationship %3E Being single %3E%3E%3E%3E Being in a shitty relationship. * *Winning an argument isn't worth losing a bro(1). * *Fall in love with someone's eyes. It's the one thing that never changes. Well done, Shakira(2). * ***If you don't understand an article on Wikipedia, change 'en.Wikipedia.org' to 'simple.Wikipedia.org'. A much simpler and clearer version will be available. * *Don't wait for something bad to happen for you to become a good person. * ***Your children follow your example, not your advice. Be the kind of person you want them to be. * *Be an adult when you have to be, be a kid when you can be. * Never lie to your doctor. * Chrome freezes and you can't close a tab? Press 'Shift+Esc', Chrome has its own Task Manager. * Unless you're in the first row at a concert, don't try to record it with your phone. The video and audio would be crap and you'll never watch it again. * Be careful what you wish for. Remember Simba? He couldn't wait to become the new king ... his Dad got kissing dealt with. * "No matter what you do in this life, it won't be legendary unless your friends are there to see it." - Barney Stinson, HIMYM * Spend time with your Father as often as you can. You'll miss Him when you can't anymore. * ***You know, those times in life where you have a grand thought, a fantasy, a wild gesture, a silly prank, anything really, anything that peaks your senses and makes you feel like you are living? If so, then take advantage of such moments. When your brain is telling you to call it a night, but your heart says to keep going, listen to your heart and do something new, do something fun, do something legendary and your brain will thank you for it later. You're welcome. * ***"You're given one little spark of madness, you must not lose it." - Robin Williams Most of the aforementioned advices are from various sources, some are from me. What's the best way to extend battery life on my Android phone?
Source: 17 Tips That Improve The Battery Life of Your Android SmartphoneIs the battery of your smartphone drains so fast? Are there any tips to improve your smartphone's battery life? Yes, there are so many tips and here we will discuss 17 most important tips that will surely help you to improve the battery life of your smartphone.1. Disable the background activitySo if you are noticing bad battery drain the first thing you should look at is what is draining your battery. If you go into your devices settings and tap on battery and go to battery usage, you’ll be able to see what apps that are draining your battery, if you see an app taking up most of your battery, you can view how long it’s been running in the background but if the app has been using a lot of battery you can have the option to disable background activity from that app. The only other option I would recommend is to uninstall that app from your phone.2. Avoid high temperaturesA high temperature is the most exceedingly awful thing you can envision for lithium-ion batteries. They totally can't stand overheating. That is the reason you ought to never open them to coordinate daylight or put them close to warmth sources.3. Disable app updatesOne feature that is totally worth disabling is app updates. You can disable that by going into the Google play store settings and tapping on Auto-update apps and tap on do not auto-update apps. By turning this feature off your apps won’t be constantly updating in the background. This will surely help to save your battery.4. remove your protective caseIn the event that your phone has a massive defensive case, it may cause the device and its battery to overheat during a lengthy recharging session. There are such a large number of various cases in the market that mobile phone producers can't take all the precautions. So if you are using an un-certified protective case you should always remove it when you need to charge the battery.5. Use the battery saver optionMost android phones come built in with a battery saver option which can give you more juice out of your battery. However I wouldn’t totally recommend it because it disables animations and other features such as night light, in all fairness, it doesn’t give the user a great overall experience but if you absolutely need more juice out of your phone, then do use it.6. Be careful with ultra-fast chargersIndeed, some of the time it's important to charge your phone in all respects rapidly, yet I prescribe you to avoid using chargers that claim to charge your battery fully in less than an hour. In any event, check if the maker of your phone endorses utilizing the charger you need to buy.7. Use airplane modeI would also recommend disabling services such as WIFI, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, Mobile Hotspot and others like that when you are not using them, and if you are going to bed, try and enable airplane mode, this will save you some power overnight.8. Avoid low temperatureDo you keep your phone in a refrigerator? Sometimes? Avoid using it. You might ask "No heat? No cold? When am I supposed to use my phone? Well, I am not saying that you completely can't utilize your phone in cold climate. You can. It's simply that your battery will presumably not live as long as it could. So, if possible, carry the phone in an inner pocket of your coat, or an outer pocket, but encased in a protective covering. Low temperatures are hurtful to the battery since it needs more capacity to keep itself warm enough to function. That is the reason you may have seen that batteries get depleted a lot quicker in cold weather.9. Turn off Google MapsIf you use Google Maps a lot, you would know that it uses location a lot, I would consider changing your location to battery saving mode instead of high accuracy, or you can just turn off location. Also, turn off WiFi scanning and Bluetooth scanning, this will save you some battery too.10. Adjust screen brightness and avoid bright wallpaperOne thing that consumes a lot of battery life is the display, to save some more juice I recommend turning off adaptive brightness so your proximity sensor doesn’t have to continuously scan the lighting environment to adjust the brightness of your phone. By turning off this setting, you will have full ability to adjust your brightness. If you use live wallpaper on your home screen, try changing to a static wallpaper. If you are lucky and have an AMOLED display, try change to a pitch black wallpaper as this will reduce the amount of battery power on your home screen.11. Uninstall the photos and unused applicationsAnother thing that could be the cause of battery drain is the number of applications that you have on your phone, try to uninstall apps or games you don’t use, this also applies with photos. Google photos have an option to upload your photos to the cloud which therefore as a benefit saves more space on your phone.12. Disable the power demanding appsAlso, try to disable app notifications from those power demanding apps. Facebook and Twitter offer lightweight versions of their full-fledged applications which can drastically improve performance and battery life. You can try other alternatives to your favorite apps.13. Clear your device's cacheTalking on the subject of apps, try and clear the cache of your device once and a while, you can do this by going into settings, storage, and clear cached data.14. Turn off haptic feedbackA small tip I would recommend is to turn off haptic feedback. To do this, go into your phone’s settings, tap on sound and turn off vibrate on tap. If you do use a cleaner, booster app on your phone such as Clean Master that claims to make your phone faster, I would highly recommend that you uninstall those apps only because they can be heavy in the background and in all fairness they just make your phone slower.15. Use lesser widgetsThe Android Operating system allows us, users, to place widgets on our home screen which is great if you, for example, want to quickly check your emails, however having a lot of widgets on your home screen can impact your devices battery life and performance.16. Don't swipe the apps away from the overview menuOne thing I notice a lot of people do on their android phones and it’s that they close apps in the background from the overview menu which you should not do, and I’ll tell you why. The Android operating system manages which apps can be opened and which apps can be closed in the background, and by you swiping apps away it technically makes your phone work harder to launch those apps open again. I would only recommend closing apps if they misbehave or force stop themselves, but on a day to day basis you don’t need to swipe apps away from the overview menu.17. Don't use/buy a cheap chargerDon't buy a charger without knowing about it properly. It might be too cheap and even it might not have any controller. So there is a chance to get fire your battery or you may get an electric shock. Your safety is the number one priority so avoid using a cheap quality charger. All the tips I have mentioned above will surely work for you. (If these still not works, go for a checkup of your phone to an authorized service center). If I’ve missed a tip please let me know in the comment box below. If you like this article do visit my blog. It will make my day. Thank you.17 Tips That Improve The Battery Life of Your Android Smartphone
