I have handled in for hundreds of hours through boring car rides, tests, SATs, lectures and so on. The edges are dull from accidently dropping it on tile from time to time.WTF is rhenium, is it safe?Rhenium is the 75th element on the periodic table. It has the second highest melting point and highest boiling point. It is very dense and normally quite hard (however high-purity samples are more prone to wear.). It is a noble metal and does not readily oxidize or get attacked by acids. It is inert to the human body in metallic form.
