What are the types of off page SEO?
Nice question. Inspite of all algorithm updates and penalty by Google, doing off-page SEO still takes its value and brings benefits.Submitting is easy ; but gaining high authority links based on your website theme is hard.Let’s forget about the basic stuffs that worked in the past, here i am going to share few tactics and tips to get you suceed with your off-page SEO project.Note :I’ve excluded .edu link building and guest posting from the list, since intentional backlinks are gained from these tactics are becoming less signNow.And I haven’t talked about social media marketing and Q&A that are the most discussed here.Don’t trust all directories/ yellow pages / classified ads!Even the most legit directory Dmoz is shut down.Don’t ever go for directory submissions, unless if you’re submitting to location based directories or niche directories.Google has penalized lots of directories and be aware before submitting to any. It’s like getting ourselves fall in trap and it finally makes you to disavow such links. Before submitting to local/niche directories, try searching it through Google using site command. If you can’t find any results, then it’s certainly penalized. The same applies to yellow pages or classified ads submissions. As google algorithm is getting rolled all the time, these sites are in extreme danger of getting affected. We should be wise and alerted enough to stop ourselves from getting into it.PDF / PPT / Image sharing sites always take their prominenceWhen you notice through your search console, you could see the list of ppt and pdf files that are bringing you organic traffic. This can’t be shown in Google analytics, however you could add them as events for PDF / PPT click tracking.Did you know you can optimize your PDF files for search? The same can be done in PPT as well. All you need to do is to -> Go to file -> Properties -> EditEdit the necessary SEO properties like filenames, title, description, keywords and so on to optimize it for organic search. Also, it bring out visibility, submit it to sites like SlideShare.net , Scribd - Read books, audiobooks, and more and so on.Share all the images you product to Flickr, a Yahoo company, Photobucket - Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing and all image sharing sites with linkback to your website to get more visibility in google image search.Content re-purpose:Write one content - either a blog or a white paper.Repurpose to all possible formats and do off-page promotion.Blog promotion - Submit to blog directoriesConvert it into ppt - Promote to slideshare like sitesConvert it into PDF - Promote to PDF sharing sitesConvert it into e-book - Promote it to bookmarking sites. Also helps in lead generationConvert it into video - Promote it to youtube, vimeoWrite different snippets, almost 10 combinations (~1000 words) about the e-book and use it to promote in the above platforms. You need to add elaborate description to get your youtube videos, slideshare ppt and images to rank best in the search engines.Content republishing:Content re-publishing is the most effective tactic to gain backlinks, establish brand awareness and build followers in many platforms. Some of the most popular re-publishing platforms are Medium – Read, write and share stories that matter, Linkedin pulse, google plus and so on.In medium, you can find an option as “Import story” to republish your already published content.Though there’s no such option in LinkedIn pulse, you can add “Orignally published in {YOUR BLOG LINK”} at the end of the blog.Just republishing in these platforms are not enough.Your content should provide quality enough to get it picked by LinkedIn editors. They will move your post to the respective channels with thousands of followers on it.Another hack to get recognized by linkedin editors is to send a tweet marking “tip @LinkedInEditors”Similarly, there are lots of channels in medium as well. Contact the admin and get your blog to be featured, if it really deserves it.Gain high authority backlinks:There are lots of ways you can get / grab high quality backlinks from.(i) HARO:HARO is the place where press requests for quotes / ideas. On getting your quote approved, you’ll get a valid high authority backlink and brand awareness too. Here’s a sample queryWhat you get in return is something like the screenshot below.Steps to do -> Just sign up with Help A Reporter to get press requests right to your inbox.(ii) Citation checking :This is a simple, but a quick way to gain backlinks.Go to google alertsSet up an alert for your brand name and its modifications (space, common misspellings etc)You’ll receive alerts to your inbox.Keep monitoring it daily and if you find any brand name unlinked, all you have to do is contact the author and get a valid backlink to your website.Simple right? Here’s a sample email template.(iii) Broken / dead link building:Find out your broken / lost backlinks.Go to SEO Backlink Checker & Competitor Research Tools and check the backlinks reportYou could find the ones that are dead now. It’s easy to get link from an already linked site than to convince a new website for backlink. If you really find this post useful, show your like by upvoting this :-)

What are prominent examples of amateur researchers achieving major feats in their chosen area?
Günter Wächtershäuser might be the most important amateur scientist of our era. He made his living as a patent attorney. While doing that he got interested in the origin of life and developed an original and widely respected set of hypotheses about how living things came into being.[1]He had been trained in science, earning a Phd. in organic chemistry in 1965 at the University of Marburg, Germany, and was a postdoc there for more than a year. But then he decided to become an attorney, and began taking law classes while working on his dissertation. He maintained an interest in science and in 1972/3 he read a paper by one of his professors about the RNA world theory of the origin of life. Later on,he met, and became friends with, the famous philosopher of science, Karl Popper. Still later, he became friends with Carl Woese, one of the most important scientists studying the early history of life.Wächtershäuser was an expert in developing friendships with famous people in science. Those people, in turn, helped him get his early papers published in prominent journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the most prestigious publication of all. Those early publications in 1988 and 1990 made him famous in his field, earning him several awards and, he was finally made an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008. (Adjunct professors are the lowest level of professors in a university.) As of 2012, he continued to maintain his legal business. His early work was entirely theoretical, describing known chemistry and how that might lead to life. He didn’t have access to chemicals or a laboratory. He did have access to the scientific literature and relied on that heavily. Later on, he had collaborators who performed experiments for him. What did he accomplish?Everything in study of the origin of life is complicated. Here’s a simple account.Back then, the two leading hypotheses about the origin of life were:The primordial soup theory said that organic chemicals in lakes or oceans somehow reacted with each other to generate living things. The RNA World theory said that RNA molecules somehow came into being and somehow developed the ability to replicate, gradually evolving into living things.Wächtershäuser rejected those ideas and, instead, proposed that Iron, Sulphur, and various other minerals reacted with organic substances in the ocean, producing many of the biochemicals that exist in modern organisms. This diagram [2] gives an overview. Keep in mind that the original hypothesis included a great many more reactions.Pyrite, sometimes called fool’s gold, is crucial to this scheme:Iron and sulphur react with each other to form pyite. This reaction provides energy and electrons (e in the diagram) that drives other biochemical reactions. In modern organisms, enzymes push (catalyze) biochemical reactions. It turns out that pyrite can catalyze many of the same reactions. So, the earliest living things could have relied on pyrite to avoid having to create complicated enzymes. All of these reactions can happen on the surfaces of rocks at the bottom of the ocean. That means the earliest living things didn’t have to start with membranes to enclose biochemicals.Eventually, reactions would some develop self-sustaining cycles that would form the basis of something like a living thing. So, is the hypothesis right?Parts of Wächtershäuser’s ideas are now widely accepted and other parts are likely wrong. His ideas about pyrite are now called the Iron–Sulfur World hypothesis. They are still widely cited and regarded as important by many people in that field[3] but some, like Mike Russell, think that they are completely wrong.[4]There is no evidence for self-sustaining cycles, which are absolutely essential for his full hypothesis. Some investigators think this concept can’t ever work.[5]His own evaluation is that:[6]Research into the origin of life is largely an immature science that lacks a pattern of progress, where a present advance is based on a previous advance and gives rise to a next advance, and where advancing empirical evidence becomes progressively integratable. Instead, origin-of-life proposals present frequently a pattern of groping for clues. Most ideas in this field turn out to be either wrong or not testable. Wächtershäuser has produced more interesting and viable ideas than most professionals.Another amateur:Early in the 20th Century, a patent clerk developed several physical theories, including one about the motions of bodies moving near the speed of light.[7] Nobody was paying him to develop these theories or publish them. In that sense, he qualified as an amateur scientist. We don’t usually think of him that way because his early work got him positions at universities. To read more:For great, non-technical overviews, try these. Unfortunately. the second one is behind a paywall.Amateur Shakes Up Ideas on Recipe for LifeBetween a Rock and a Hard PlaceHe speaks for himself in this interview, which provides a good sense of his distinctive personal style:Entrevista Gunter WachtershauserHis scientific publications are extremely challenging, especially the early ones. That’s always a bad sign. Good theorists write clearly; bad theorists write mud. If you are very brave, you can try this one:http://www.pnas.org/content/pnas...Footnotes[1] Günter Wächtershäuser - Wikipedia[2] N. Bishop. How is life at the KIIT University in detail?
I am currently in fourth year and i think i am eligible to answer this question from my perspective as a male IT Student.Starting from first yearYou will be allotted a hostel named KP VII(KINGS PALACE VII) which is huge, (don’t know about girls but their hostel is called QUEEN’S CASTLE). By huge means 4 floors and 100 rooms in each floor in a block and there are i think 8 blocks like this for about 4000–5000 freshers. In your starting days you will surely forget the way to your room. There will be speakers and cameras all over the hostel. The rules are strict for freshers like the check-in time is 7, formals (till freshers party), not leaving hostel without permission (till freshers). The hostel life is fun like late night gaming, talking and the fun which you will get only in 1st year because you are bounded by rules. Then comes the fresher’s party and then rules will be slightly loose now you can bunk some of the classes. Explore KIIT’S huge green campus, make friends, and ya there is nothing like the word ragging here, just respect seniors and you will be free. After freshers exam will start (i don’t remember before or after :p). You will be free to explore the campus, make some friends, there are countless restaurants and plus main thing is you will get your new laptops and believe me the configuration is awesome (fingerprint sensor, touch screen and 360 foldable is must) 8 or plus gb ram, i5 or plus processor (can’t tell about graphics but it will be good too), then KIIT-WIFI-NET although many sites are blocked :( (you know what i mean) but there are some VPNs and proxies which works, Speed will be good (sometimes very poor), Some Mobile phones Can’t directly connect to it but you will find a way. Some professors are good. You will be assigned tutor Mentor and he/she will surely help you anytime. There is rare connection with seniors in KIIT.Point to be noted in first yearAlways be in contact with seniors, they will help you a lot in any condition. Don’t hesitate to talk to them. Just show them some respect and they will be all yours whether it is notes or suggestion.Talk frankly with opposite gender.Try to get high CGPA as it will help you in long run.Explore the Campus, there are many opportunities in the campus itself. Now the second year,Ragging could happen in this year but just that you can intract with your seniors. Suddenly the rules will be changed, you will be given freedom No dress code, Even for class (Even for Girls :p), You will be shifted to a new hostel according to branch and Check In time would be 10 (Just for the records). This is the time to explore yourself. Find your interest and chase them in this KIIT will help you a lot. There is KSAC for all types of ideas , the societies and much more. You want to sing, dance, act, play, etc. There is a place for everything in KIIT. You will hear many breakup stories in this year :p. Many couple sites and much more. You will not care about the rules much now. Last the KIIT FEST, in first year you haven’t enjoyed much but in second you will (either KIIT FEST or your Girlfriend’s Company)Point to be noted in second yearThird semester Exam sbka leta hai (Beware). This is the time when you can indulge yourself in drinking, smoking and drugs.Explore yourself and the opportunities given to you by the University.Take part in various activities.Third Year, Its time to add something to your resume. You should start building it. You should do some professional courses and this is the year to shape your future waste it and there will be no time in fourth year to build it. Plus you will be seniors (as fourth year guys are always at home). Many friends will change from first to third year you will meet many new and make many friends to so called friends. You will know about every Nuke and Corners of KIIT and start living in a habituated environment. Classes would be just to get 75% attendance and friends will be like homies. Mainly this time if you focused on your carrier it will bloom in fourth year (Mostly it is luck but you can beat luck with your dedication). Learn at least one programing language thoroughly and start practicing it. There will be some teachers whom you can go for help and advice and seniors for how to prepare. In third year you will just enjoy seniority.Point to be noted in third yearDo some professional course.Improve your resume.Focus on at least one Programming Language.Try to keep your CGPA over 7.5.Time to become serious. And at last Fourth YearIn no time the placement Drive will start, If you are not prepared you will have no time. There will be no classes. Everyone will be busy in solving aptitude and reasoning. There will be extra classes of placement related studies. You with your friends will start planning where would you go after placements. Sometimes it will hit you that time flied so fast and now you won’t be in college after some months. You will plan if you get same city you all will rent a flat and how it would be. You are really seniors now so no one can threat you. There will be serious tension for the placement. I am currently in fourth year and experienced up to this (will update ;)).Point to be noted in fourth yearBelieve in yourself.Never loose confidence and hope. This could be the year for your depression.Don’t be jealous of others just focus on yourself to bag an offer. This is your last year ENJOY IT TO THE FULLEST because you will never get this time back. That was my way how one’s life could be in KIIT. You can make your own.Good Luck!!

How crucial is experience in a startup company before trying to launch your own?
Thanks for the A2ALet's look at what's the key ability of the founders of a successful startup before we get to answer this question:Deep understanding of the domain : An understanding which doesn't come from google, which doesn't come from someone else giving you an idea or which doesn't come from " oh...this us Uber of X or X of India". It comes from getting first hand experience of the problem. By talking to various stake holders, as to why the problem is the way it is. Why has no one solved it so far. These experiences and curiosity leads to some insight, which is 'your' insight. This 'insight' is the foundation of your startup.Expertise needed to solve the problem : For example, If the problem requires building a hardware device to solve the problem, you must know how to build it, or you must get a co-founder (not employee) who knows/understands how to build the hardware device. Same applies, to s/w, biotech, medicine or for that matter anything else. Just having an idea, and hiring people to build the solution rarely succeed. Ability to market & sell : Don't mistake of believing that if the product is good it'd sell for it self. NOTHING EVER SELLS FOR ITSELF! Every product needs either marketing, or sales or (most of the time) both. If you don't know how to peddle your product, you have a huge hurdle to cross. Again, hiring is not a solution. There are many more key success criterion for a startup, like market dynamics, team etc, but let's focus on the above with respect to this question. Now, let's answer the original question, is it crucial to work for other startups before starting on your own? Yes & No. If you have what it takes (all of the above) - you are good to go. However, if you are still toying with an idea, then it is best to work for someone else in the meanwhile.Do yourself a favour, do a self assessment and find out if check all the 3 items, then approach an experienced entrepreneur or any other mentor that you trust, let him grill you - you'd know if you are ready to start. All the best

How do i add an electronic signature to a word document?
When a client enters information (such as a password) into the online form on , the information is encrypted so the client cannot see it. An authorized representative for the client, called a "Doe Representative," must enter the information into the "Signature" field to complete the signature.
How to make an electronic signature from a scan?
The only place I found information about this was in the State University's "Electronic Security (CEC) Course". It is not a prerequisite, so the only thing you need to do is read the entire class description and then just start working on getting the software, which is freely released, on your phone. If you are a student with an iPhone, just scroll to Chapter 3 and start doing stuff. There are a lot of cool apps for this.

What is an image signature?
You can imagine your document as a digital signature, but it's made by signing an image with an image.
This method is used by the federal government when they print out documents and when they scan documents to keep them in digital form. In general, any digital information, from your passport to a document in the state DMV, is an image signature.

How to sign a pdf file with time stamp?
In this video guide I explain how to sign a pdf document and then how the timestamp on the pdf file will be displayed.
I will show you in this video how:
To create a signature for a pdf document You should first create a signature on a blank pdf document with Microsoft Word. This is done by opening the document in Word as a regular user (not administrator). Then you will need to go to the menu and select "Format and Sign".
Select the file format for your signature and then choose "Signatures" from the option.
From the "Signatures" menu you can create multiple signatures or choose your signature from a folder.
You will then see on the left hand side the list of all signatures. If your name is listed there the signature has been created. Otherwise you can use it as a reference for creating other signatures and then share them with others through email.
