At the end I also explain how to get your money back from them.On August 3rd , 2018 , I attended a presentation made by Country club representatives , named Dharshan , Muneer and RajaShekar at Café Coffee Day , JP Nagar , Bangalore. I came to know later that they operate by the fake names. So you should know that whoever you deal with and know in CC , those are not their actual names.They explained me different plans of Country Club / Country Vacations.On the condition of me paying the membership fee ( Rs. 1,39,054 ) on the spot, they offered me following membership benefits, none of which I received.1. Domestic and International stay for 6 nights, 7 days for a duration of 10 years for 8 people with 1 bhk accommodation.2. Rs. 7000 cashback to the credit card.3. One time all paid international vacation.Towards the membership, I paid Rs. 1,39,054 with my credit card by converting this amount into 12 EMIs with 14.55 % annual interest. While signing the agreement, and not finding the above above offers in agreement, they misguided me by telling it as a generic common agreement and told that I would receive different customized membership documents within 10 days after signing agreement.At the same time, I got a verification call to which the sales team told me it as a mere account activation call and I just need to agree to the questions asked in the call. They told me again that I would get separate membership documents in the welcome kit and deceptively convinced me to agree for the membership period as 5 years in the call.Later on finding online social media full of similar customer experiences and they being duped by the Country Club in a similar fashion, I referred to the point number 34 (cool off period) in the agreement. According to that, I can cancel the membership within 10 days from the signing of the agreement by sending an email to centralcustomecare@countryvacationsmail.com. The paid amount would be refunded after deducting Rs. 3800. Therefore, on August 6, 2018 I sent an email to cancel my membership with immediate effect and asked to refund my money. Now I know that they get such notices on daily basis and that does not mean anything to them. Do that immediately.Immediately write an application on paper to cancel membership giving your personal reasons , attach all your documents and send it to their Hyderabad offices and local offices via registered speed post with acknowledgement. Do that , do not just sit back after emailing. It is important and you will understand better it later.If you have used your credit card , then immediately raise the credit card transaction dispute. Fill up the dispute form , attach all the documents above , also take the print outs of all the negative reviews and fraud done by them and send again via registered speed post with ACK. Also email the same to your bank emails etc. After sending the dispute form , talk to your bank manager. They will normally discourage you by saying they want cancellation mail from CC. Explain them all the frauds made by them and how many people got their credit card transaction reversed and explain what all you did in steps above. File a dispute asap. There is a time window in the bank before transferring your money to the company from bank. So leave all your other works and do the steps 1–4 asap. Most likely you will get your money reversed. Even if they reject your dispute , dont get disheartened and raise the dispute again. Collect more evidences and examples of people’s getting their money reversed.If you have 10 days cool off period in your agreement , then you do not need any reason as such to cancel your membership. You do not need to utilize any of their services also. Do not personally go and talk to them about you refund in their offices. They will simply refuse. They will ask you to first utilize their services first. Do not do that. Do not believe on their single words. Do not get trapped . Just follow what I am stating here. If you are in cool off period , then you need to wait for 120 days after sending your mails to them. Just sit back and keep sending reminders to them and to your back and do the step 7 below. Most likely you will get your money reversed in your credit card before 120 days. Even if you have paid using the debit card, they will pay you back by company cheque.Even if you do not have cool off period in your agreement , follow the step above, yo will get your money back. Do it as fast you can.If have passed 10 days time , then go to your local clubs or country club facilities . They are very shady and unusable. Go there , take the photographs and other evidences of the poor facilities there. Collect all the documents , make your case and do the steps 1–4.Prepare all the documents , find out the addresses of following in your state and once in a month send your letters and emails both to following.You can also contact Mass India NGO Karnataka president Mr. Gopal Koteyar ( 9741180793 / 9980025751) if you are in Karnataka and Mr. Shibu George ( 9869839988) for the rest of the parts in country. They are fighting with CC since long time. I and many other people got money back through Mr. Koteyar and Mr. Shibu has made around 400 people’s money refunded till now.a) DIG / police commissioner in your city and DIG / police commissioner Hyderabad.b) Registrar of companies and company law.c) Chief minister of Telangana and Your state.d) Prime Minister of India.e) Reserve Bank of India.f) Enforcement Director of Income Tax.Also keep sending the reminders to CC all offices and your bank by giving references to the above communications. Do not forget that. This process seems slow to you but it works and actions are taken. You will get most likely your money back faster.8. If you have cool off period in your agreement , then after 120 days , you can approach the consumer court. If you do not have cool off period in your agreement , then you can approach the consumer court even before , based on the response from the Country Club. If you have to go to the consumer court , do not take myadvo services , you will repent. In consumer court , you should yourself appear , do not take any lawyer , they will just rip you off. You can find and help of any reliable lawyer in your area in initial filing the case and later you yourself can carry on. I am not recommending but I consulted lawer Pooja Barik from HSR Bangalore and found her helpful. You can find anyone reliable or with little effort can file your own. That is a simple process.This is all pretty much you have to do. Keep faith, I am telling you that you will get your money back.At the last be a good citizen . And brace yourselves for the storm…more on that now, Coanchor Maria Vasquez punctuated before “throwing” to Weather for an update.That was the first indication I had that something wasn’t right. A day or 2 later, it seemed like everyone was getting sick. More ambulance sirens in the distance. More 911 calls coming over the police radio. Our precinct went from an average of 3 medical emergencies per overnight shift to 10. Then 20. By the end of the week I had lost count after 30 calls in one evening.It was madness.Every call was exactly the same. We’d show up. Medical and Fire would arrive around the same time. We’d make entry.Patient reporting Flu-like symptoms with intense vomiting, cramps, burning fevers, and “the rash”.Now I know if you’re reading this, with all of the news coverage and documentaries recently, by now you know all about the rash. Do a 16 hour shift, rush the sick to the hospital, then go home and try to sleep for a few hours before heading back to the station. Wake up. And that she was rushed to the hospital after collapsing on the #9 bus on her way home from a long day of babysitting sniffling kids. By all accounts, she loved her job and cared for those children as if they were her own.That’s the part of the story most people know.You might NOT know exactly what went down that night in the E-wing of that hospital.Not many people do.You see, the hospitals were completely unprepared for a pandemic of this scale. The staff used the waiting areas to triage and treat the waves of patients seeking care. The hallways, stairwells, the cafeterias. The sick were everywhere. They even formed long lines outside the ER, in the freezing cold, begging Security to let them in.The boys and I called New York-Presbyterian Hotel California. Ya know, because no one checked out. In retrospect, The Titanic would have been a more apt name for that place. It was a horror show, ready to boil over.Christine, or Chris as her loved ones called her, wasn’t doing well. By every clinical measure, she was in steep decline. Her blistering rash had spread to over 90% of her tiny frail body. The doctors and nurses, who were beginning to show symptoms themselves, did what they could to keep the sick comfortable. However, the usual treatment protocols were ineffective. Not one patient was improving. The CDC, FEMA, and medical experts were utterly clueless on what was happening, let alone having any idea on how to treat it. Was it a super flu? Was it a biological attack? Was the water supply contaminated?Lots of questions. A few theories. Zero answers.Christine was dying, it seemed. Her fiancé and closest family members were called in to be by her side as she was succumbing to the mysterious illness, quickly approaching the end of her life.As the nursing staff entered her room to perform their hourly check of her vital signs (it was 2:13 am according to the medical record), she went into violent convulsions and septic shock.Christine! Chris. Can you hear me? Code Red…Room E-461, CODE RED! The ranking nurse shouted in panic as she desperately clutched Christine’s flailing shoulders in a futile attempt to subdue her.What happened next is controversial. Only one witness, a female nursing student, survived to tell us what happened. Though her recollection is unclear.What we do know for sure is Christine lunged out of her hospital bed at around 2:14 am. As the staff poured into the room to restrain her, the fiancé, Brian Barlow, a burly Long Shoreman from Jersey City, attempted to intervene on her behalf. At least two male nurses were attacked and bitten by Christine. She then bit Barlow as he struggled to free her from the aids pinning her down.I can only imagine the fog of confusion and horror in that chaotic moment. Especially after power was lost and the lights flickered out just moments later.At this point, our sole surviving witness, Emily Voss (who was recently interviewed on Dateline NBC), a shy 3rd year student co-op from NYU Meyers School of Nursing, (and now widely recognized as a National Hero) fled E-wing via the emergency stairwell. Terrified, she ran screaming directly across the street to the 19th street Fire House, Precinct 17, Lower Manhattan where she collapsed just after alerting the authorities.This is how we first learned that a bite or scratch from a fully blown infected person causes immediate acute Symptomatic RAIG infection (aka RAGE).I’m just a beat cop from Jersey, so the science of it all is completely lost on me. All I know is it spread through that dark cold hospital like an inferno. The building erupted. It was a total shit show. You know what happens next. I won’t get into it. It’s the most studied, and fully documented event in human history. And it all started late that snowy December night in room E-461.I was 22 when 9/11 happened. It touched all of our lives in some way. Maybe you had a friend-of-a-friend who was a first responder, or knew someone who worked in the towers. Most of us watched it on TV.But RAGE was the event that touched everyone. Your best friend. Your brother. Your girlfriend. Or you.No one walked away unscathed.The YouTube videos. The Tweets. The Instagrams. The conspiracy theories about Russia (which BTW piss me off more than anything).It’s inescapable.We have access to so much content documenting this event that it’s hard to turn off. We’ve all seen the disturbing footage, over and over again, of what happened at Madison Square Garden. Tragic.On some level, the entire nation continues to suffer from PTSD “on loop.”And on top of all that, it began during one of the worst winter storms in recorded history? A disaster in itself. We didn’t stand a chance.To directly answer your question…I’ve been reading some of the other answers on Quora regarding the military and the NYC Police Department, saying that our guys could have prevented the outbreak and contained the devastation if we had only taken action sooner.Nonsense. That offends me. It’s just not true. Everything happened so fast. By the time we had any idea of the threat we were facing, everyone was already sick. Our fate was sealed. The check was in the mail and no amount of hand sanitizer, Halls cough drops, or tactical SWAT teams were going to stop it.There wasn’t enough ammo in the entire empire state to fend off 5 million infected souls terrorizing the island of Manhattan.I can’t really blame Washington for what they did. Extreme circumstances call for extreme measures. It’s unfair to second guess their actions now.Where did we go wrong?I understand that we’re all searching for answers. It’s human nature to try to find the reason this happened. The one big mistake we made. We have a deep internal need to fix it and move forward. Blame must be placed.But I think ultimately, we’re all complicit.If I can find a silver lining to this tragedy, it’s that it’s forced us to re evaluate the way we live, and redefine what’s important to us as a society. We now recognize that our planet is a living, breathing organism and demands to be respected and preserved.If we mistreat her, there are consequences.She’ll take her pound of flesh.
