free internet to nearly 300 low-income families over the next two years florida residents may be able to get low-cost dental assistance through project dentists care this program is hosted by dr willian truax who serves people with an income of under 24 000 or who are living on social security georgia has exciting new legislation pending that could make it easier for low-income georgia residents to have their suspended driver's licenses reinstated in georgia over 200 000 people per year have their licenses suspended for unpaid fines and this law would help those low-income residents who have paid those fines get their licenses reinstated easier so that they can get back to work this legislation called house bill 330 could use your support so if you are a georgia resident please reach out to your local elected officials and express your support hawaii residents in honolulu may be able to get an interest-free down payment loan to assist with their home purchase this program is made available by the department of community services the office has eight hundred thousand dollars available to help with down payment loans and they'll provide up to forty thousand dollars per person in order to be eligible you must earn eighty percent of the area median income or below which is about eighty thousand dollars for a family of two or a hundred thousand dollars for a family of four you will need to apply for a city loan through a mortgage lender in order to qualify there are no application costs for these loans michigan residents in jackson may be able to get assistance with their water bills according to local news station wlns you will need to reach out to your utility billing department via phone or email to get assistance from the local community action agency minnesota residents with an adjusted gross income of 50 000 or less may be eligible for free tuition at the university of minnesota this program was approved by unanimous vote on friday february 12th but it is not clear when the program will start or how many people will qualify north carolina residents who live in alexander burke caldwell catawba cleveland gaston mcdowell mecklenburg rutherford stanley and union counties need to know that the blue ridge community action council has extra funds to help with winter weatherization services on february 16th a news report in wsoc tv stated that they have money to help but not enough people have applied for it their program provides free heating systems free heating systems repair and more their income limits are generous enough that a family of four with an income of 52 400 or less would qualify contact blue ridge community action for more information north dakota has the new museums for all participants the gateway to science in bismarck
